Magnetic Properties of GaAs/NiFe Coaxial Core-Shell Structures
Uniform nanogranular NiFe layers with Ni contents of 65%, 80%, and 100% have been electroplated in the potentiostatic deposition mode on both planar substrates and arrays of nanowires prepared by the anodization of GaAs substrates. The fabricated planar and coaxial core-shell ferromagnetic structures have been investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). To determine the perspectives for applications, a comparative analysis of magnetic properties, in terms of the saturation and remanence moment, the squareness ratio, and the coercivity, was performed for structures with different Ni contents
Degree of phase transformations in the conditions of polythermal synthesis of SrBaFeMoO6–δ
The sequence of phase transformations during the crystallization of SrBaFeMoO6–δ by the solid-phase technique from a stoichiometric mixture of simple oxides SrCO3 + BaCO3 + 0.5Fe2O3 + MoO3 was studied. It has been established that the synthesis of barium – strontium ferromolybdate proceeds through a series of sequential - parallel stages. It was found that to minimize the effect of intermediate reaction products, it is necessary to use combined synthesis modes. As a result of using combined synthesis modes for annealing for 20 h and T = 1443 K in vacuum of 10−5 Torr at the pressure of residual oxygen gas 10−8 Pa, it was possible to obtain a single-phase barium – strontium ferromolybdate compound with superstructural ordering of iron and molybdenum cations.publishe

Influence of media with different acidity on structure of FeNi nanotubes
A detailed analysis of the structure features of FeNi nanotubes exposed at environment with different acidity is carried out. It is demonstrated that the exposure of the nanostructures in the environment with high acidity causes the structure deformation, leading to sharply increasing of the presents of oxide phases and partial amorphization of nanotubes walls that determined the rate of FeNi nanotubes destruction. It was established that the evolution of the crystal structure parameters concerned with appearance of oxide phases and with formation of disorder regions as a result of oxidation processes
