Correction for thermal distortions of laser beams with a flexible mirror. Experimental and numerical investigations
A mathematical model of an adaptive optics system was described in the article. The model included two main components: the model of an adaptive mirror and model of beam propagation under conditions of thermal blooming. Results of numerical simulation of adaptive optics systems were compared with data of laboratory experiments. High reliability of the model was shown
Adaptive correction of thermal distortions of multichannel laser radiation
Results of the simulation of multichannel radiation propagation under conditions of thermal blooming are presented. The correction of nonlinear thermal distortion by means of the beam phase and amplitudephase control is considered. The results show the dependence of the correction effectiveness on the number of channels and on the precision of the reference beam phase retrieval. An additional increase in the effectiveness is possible by means of adjustment of amplification in the channels of the optical system, i.e., with the use of amplitude-phase control over the beam wavefront

Recording the vortex beam parameters in turbulent atmosphere
In the second part of the paper the Hartmann sensor model is introduced into design diagram; it allows determining its influence on optical system operation accuracy and optimizing the device parameters. In the closing paragraph the accuracy of detecting the optical vortex in turbulent medium using the sensor is compared with the accuracy of the results of the ideal optical system operation

Recording the vortex beam parameters in turbulent atmosphere
Based on the methods of the numerical experiments the authors study the possibility of determining the characteristics of vortex radiation expanding in turbulent medium. To obtain the estimation results given in the first part of the paper the parameters are determined using gradients of phase distribution of light field; the ideal optical system is considered
