    Penggunaan Pendekatan Multirepresentasi Dengan Setting Quantum Teaching Dalam Pembelajaran Gerak Melingkar Dan Dampaknya Terhadap Pemahamankonsep Mahasiswa Calon Guru Fisika

    Telah dilakukan penelitian eksperimen tentang dampak penggunaan pendekatan multirepresentasi dengan setting quantum teachingdalam pembelajaran materi Gerak Melingkar terhadap pemahaman konsep calon guru fisika. Multirepresentasi yang digunakan adalah: representasi verbal, matematik, gambar, dan grafik. Masalah yang ingin dijawab melalui penelitian ini adalah “bagaimana efektivitas penggunaan pendekatan multirepresentasi dengan setting quantum teaching dalam menanamkan pemahaman kosep gerak melingkar di kalangan mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan Fisika Sekolah II ?”. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah one group posttest only design. Subyek penelitian 86 orang mahasiswa calon guru fisika, Prodi Pendidikan Fisika pada salah satu LPTK Negeri di Jawa Timur yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Fisika Sekolah II. Instrumen utama penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konseptual terkait materi teorema gerak melingkar dalam bentuk tes obyektif jenis pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 79 % dari jumlah mahasiswa mendapat skor tes pemahaman konseptual gerak melingkar ≥ 80. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan multirepresentasi dengan setting quantum teachingcukup efektif digunakan dalam rangka menanamkan pemahaman konsepkonsep Fisika di kalangan mahasiswa calon guru fisika

    The Molecular Basis of Resistance Antiretroviral Markers and Polymorphisms of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1 Subtype Crf01-ae Protease Gene in Naïve and Treatment Failure Patients in Bali

    Application of antiretrovirals (ARVs) in patients with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection has proven to reduce mortality rates and prolong life expectancy. On the other hand, the use of antiretroviral drugs has incited the emergence of HIVDR. The resistance is due to mutation at genes associated with drug resistance. Nowadays, the determination of resistance markers mutations are based on HIV-1 subtype B. However, the majority of HIV in Indonesia, particularly in Bali are of subtype CRF01_AE. Genetic variation between HIV viruses has led to variations in subtypes; therefore, resistance markers of subtype B could be polymorphisms of non-B subtypes. This study aims to determine the number and types of the resistance markers mutations and polymorphisms that occur on the PR gene of HIV-1 subtype CRF01_AE of naïve and treatment failure patients in Bali. This is an observational cross-sectional analytical study, conducted at two VCT clinics in Denpasar, during the period of April 2010 until October 2011. Samples consist of 18 HIV patients with treatment failure and 30 naïve HIV patients. Mutations were evaluated using PCR, sequenced and aligned were carried out using MEGA4. Interpretations of the mutations were made based on the Stanford HIV database. Hypothesis tests used were Mann-Whitney because of abnormal distribution of data. Hypothesis was accepted if the significant level p<0.05. This study found that of the demographic data, only the predisposing factors of the two groups were significantly different (p<0.05). Two patients with treatment failure and 5 naïve patients were found to have L10LV/I mutations. Only one patient with treatment failure had the I54FI mutation. No major mutations were found among the two study groups. The number and types of minor mutations were not significantly different (p>0.05) between the naïve group and treatment failure group. M36I and H69K polymorphisms of the PR gene were found in all the study samples. In conclusion of this study, two types of major mutations were found, L10LV/I and I54FI. The number and types of the resistance markers mutations towards the protease inhibitor (PI) group were not significantly different between the two study groups. M36I, H69K mutations of the PR gene are markers of polymorphisms of HIV-1 subtype CRF01_AE

    The Balinese clans embraced patrilineal system.They divided into groups of soroh or clans which means respect for ancestors. Pandeclan is a unique soroh which comes from ancestors who have expertise in memande. The genetic identityof this clan in Bali is unknown.Therefore the aim of this study is to find out the genetic identity from the varieties of allelic diversity which found on Pande community inside and outside Seririt using microsatellite DNA analysis of Y chromosome, namely DYS19, DYS390, DYS393, and DYS395. Resultsof this study have foundthat in Pande clan there are 21 varieties of allelic diversity and 25 haplotypes with the average heterozygosity of four loci is 0.72 ± 0.03.     The research focuses on the implementation of Guided Inquiry Model accompanied Concept Mapping. The purposes of this research are to describe the science process skills in learning, to study the effect of the learning guided inquiry models accompanied concept mapping of toward the student's physics achievement, and to describe the students' retention. The kind of this research is experiment by post-test control group design. Population of the research is class X at Jenggawah 1 Senior High School. Technique to collect the data are documentation, observation, interview, and tests. Technique of data analysis are decriptive and Independent Sample T-Test. The result of the researchs are science process skills' is 82,91% in average, it is in good category. The effect of model to students physics achievement that showed by t-test 0,0165, it means independent sample t-tes 0,0165≤0,05. The model shows that significanly influence to students physics achievement. The results of the research are students achievement retention equal to 113% with high category and exceed the best retention. The research can be concluded that the model can be make students' science process skills in good category, significanly influence to students' physics achievement, and also the model make students retention in high level

    This research related on improved Physical activity and results of Learning Student at Class X APK SMNK 8 Jember academic year 2016-2017 Model With Learning Cycle accompanied LKS Multirepresentasi. The purpose of this research were: (1) to describe the increased activity of studying physics class X APK SMKN 8 Jember 2016-2017 school year by using model LC with LKS multirepresentasi, (2) to describe the learning outcome physics class X APK SMKN 8 Jember 2016-2017 school year by using model LC with LKS multirepresentasi. This research is anaction research, so the research is done by action research method. Design of this research is using Hopkins cycle. Data collection technique of this research are documentation, observation, test, and interviews. The data analysis used N-gain. The results showed that activities learned from the pre cycle to cycle 1 was increased by N-Gain 0.32 while on pre cycle to cycle 2 was increased by N-Gain 0.5. In the second cycle increased in the medium category. Learning outcomes from the pre cycle to cycle 1 was increased by N-Gain 0.5 while on a pre cycle to cycle 2 was increased by N-Gain 0.6.     Additional Turmeric Powder (Curcuminoid) Into Traditional Ration to Improve the Productivity of Bali Pig

    Bali Pig is one of germplasm whose existence is very limited until now. This is due to the very low growth and breeding compared to other types such as Landrace pigs, Duroc, and Laghwhite. However, Bali pig has an advantage among others such as able to utilize lack quality feed so it is suitable to maintain in rural areas. To keep the existence of Bali pig, a necessary attempt needed to avoid extinction. One of its ways is to make improved feed by adding turmeric powder (curcuminoid). The benefits of giving curcuminoid are able to increase the appetite, increase the utilization of nutrients such as fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. This research method used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were: Treatment A: swine rations that did not contain turmeric powder (extract curcuminoid), Treatment B: swine rations contained turmeric powder (extract curcuminoid), 0,02 ml/1 kilogram body weight, Treatment C: swine rations contained turmeric powder (extract curcuminoid 0.04 ml/1 kilogram body weight), and Treatment D: swine rations contained turmeric powder (extract curcuminoid)
