    Viršutinės galūnės segmentų replantacijų 25 metų apžvalga

Į tyrimą įtraukti pacientai, kuriems buvo visiškai arba iš dalies amputuotas viršutinės galūnės segmentas, traumos metu pažeisti griaučiai ir kraujotaka, replantacijos metu atkurta kraujotaka. Retrospektyviai išanalizuotos 1573 pacientų, kuriems buvo replantuoti 1942 segmentai, ligos istorijos. Išnagrinėta replantacijų priežastys, tipai, traumuojantys įrankiai, pacientų socialinė padėtis ir šių rodiklių kitimas. Įvertintas replantų prigijimas pagal amputacijų tipus. Nustatyta prigijimo sėkmės priklausomybė nuo lyties. Atskirai įvertinta vaikų, paauglių replantacijų dinamika. Analizuota nejautros tipo atliekant replantacijas dinamika. Aptartos replantacijų skaičiaus mažėjimo priežastys. The retrospective study included patients according to following criteria: completely or partially amputated upper limb segment, injured skeleton and circulation (vitality), performed replantation or revascularization. 1573 patients’ histories were included. 1942 upper limb segments were replanted for 1973 patients. We analyzed the cause and type of amputation, tools of injury, patients’ social situation and dynamics of change. We evaluated the successful rate of replantation in different types of amputation. We found differences in survival due to the patient’s gender. We analyzed the dynamics of replantations in children and adolescents separately. Also, we analyzed the dynamics of different types of anesthesia for replantations. We discussed the reasons for the reduced number of replantations.     Morphological and morphometrical studies on the boar’s testes and accessory sex glands

    The aim of the study: To evaluate size peculiarities of testes and accessory sexual glands, peculiarities of their morphological variables and their correlation with sperm qualitative and quantitative indices of breeding boars kept in Lithuania. The purpose of the study: 1. To analyze the causes for boar culling. 2. To investigate pathological morphological variables and their influence on ejaculate volume in culled boars at various periods of age. 3. To analyze quantitative parameters of testes collagen network considering the age of boars and pathological parameters. 4. To determine the size and weight impact of testes and accessory sexual glands on sperm quantity and quality. 5. To evaluate the impact of pathological variables in testes and accessory sexual glands on sperm quantity and quality. Conclusions: 1. In breeding enterprises from the year 2007 to 2011, a lot of breeding boars (46.5%) were culled. The most frequent causes were: poor sperm quality (43.4%), reduced libido (26.4%), for the reasons of selection (11.3%) and causes not related to reproduction (19%). 2. Having performed morphological examination in the testes of breeding boars, mixed pathologies were determined. Prevailing pathologies were: degeneration (60.86%), fibrosis (26.08%), inflammation (13.04%). The variables in the left and right testes usually differed. 3. With the ageing of the boar, the development of pathologies in the testes made greater impact on healthiness and fertility of the animal, and degenerative and fibroid variables in testes were more frequent. The increased rate of incidence of acute inflammation was more frequently determined at the most productive age of boars (18–30 mo). With ageing the decrease of inflammations in testes was statistically significant (P0.05) lower than in case of larger (1600 g and over) testes. The impact of weight on motility of spermatozoa and quantity of pathologic spermatozoa was not significant (P>0.05). 6. The vesicular gland influenced the volume of ejaculate significantly (r=0.616).The lowest ejaculate volume (82 ml) was determined in the boar, the vesicular glands of which weighed up to 300 g, the highest – (370 ml) was found in the group of boars with the largest vesicular glands (over 500 g).The average volume of ejaculate in the group of the largest vesicular glands differed even by 151.25±2.62 ml and 134.92±1.51 ml from the ejaculate determined in the groups with lower weight (P≤0.05). 7. The impact of the vesicular glands size on the spermatozoa motility, concentration and shapes of pathological spermatozoa was not statistically significant (P>0.05). 8. The influence of prostate weight on the ejaculate volume (r=0.483) was statistically significant. The volume of the ejaculate was determined to be higher in the group of boars, the prostate of which weighed over 21g (P≤0.05). The impact of the prostate weight on the spermatozoa motility, concentration and quantity of pathological spermatozoa was not statistically significant (P>0.05). 9. The degree of degeneration in testis influenced spermatozoa motility most significantly. In case of severe degeneration, the motility of spermatozoa was 45.00±17.32% lower in comparison to that in case of low degeneration (P≤0.05). 10. The pathology of spermatozoa tails was influenced mainly by the degree of degeneration in testes. Under severe pathology, the occurrence of coiled tails was 30.73±19.33% higher than in cases of low degeneration (P≤0.05). 11. The fibrosis determined in testes positively correlated with the motility of spermatozoa (r=0.429; P≤0.05) and concentration of spermatozoa (r=-0.427; P≤0.05), but negatively – with a total count of pathological spermatozoa in ejaculate (r=0.424; P≤0.05)

Semantinio žiniatinklio ir semantinių web servisų sąvokos labai svarbios interneto vystymosi raidoje. Semantinis žiniatinklis kardinaliai pakeis žiniatinklio bei paslaugų internete supratimą. Projektuojama sistema puikiai atitinką pokyčius ir numatomą ateitį paslaugų interneto verslo sektoriuje. Semantiniai web servisai gali būti pritaikomi tiek galutiniams vartotojams tiek verslo poreikiams. Sistema gali būti naudojama versle, panaudojant sistemos išvedimo rezultatus kitiems verslo procesams kaip įvedimo duomenis. Pagrindiniai darbo tikslai – remiantis ankstesniuose tiriamuosiuose darbuose įgyta patirtimi išanalizuoti Lietuvos elektroninio verslo rinką, išanalizuoti semantinių web servisų aplinką, kūrimo įrankius, suprojektuoti semantinio web serviso prototipą, bei pabrėžti jo naudą ir konkurencinio pranašumo įgijimo galimybes.Information technologies are developing very fast, services are moving to the internet. For a long time online services in the Lithuania hasn’t been very popular but now are quite popular. The popularity of services makes developers and providers to strive. They are trying to offer high quality and great services. The second generation web will be soon complemented with the semantic – the third generation semantic web. In evolution of the internet, semantic web and semantic web service definitions are very important. Semantic web will dramatically change the understanding of web and the services on the Internet. This system is well suited to the expected future changes for services on the Internet in the business sector. The semantic web services can be applied to end users and business needs. The system output can be used for other business processes like data entry.     A Method of Transparent Graceful Failover in Low Latency Stateful Microservices

    Microservice architecture is a preferred way to build applications. Being flexible and loosely coupled, it allows to deploy code at a high pace. State, or, in other words, data is not only a commodity but crucial to any business. The high availability and accessibility of data enables companies to remain competitive. However, maintaining low latency stateful microservices, for example, performing updates, is difficult compared to stateless microservices. Making changes to a stateful microservice requires a graceful failover, which has an impact on the availability budget. The method of graceful failover is proposed to improve availability of a low latency stateful microservice when performing maintenance. By observing database connection activity and forcefully terminating idle client connections, the method allows to redirect database requests from one node to another with negligible impact on the client. Thus, the proposed method allows to keep the precious availability budget untouched while performing maintenance operations on low latency stateful microservices. A set of experiments was performed to evaluate stateful microservice availability during failover and to validate the method. The results have shown that near-zero downtime was achieved during a graceful failover

    Study of fe based nanoparticles for tribosuspensions

Tribosuspension are widely applied in industry, transportation and etc. having aim to cool the contacting surfaces and reduce friction improving longevity of the surfaces.     Preparation of graphene oxide-maghemite-chitosan composites for the adsorption of europium Ions from aqueous solutions

    The adsorption of Eu(III) on composites synthesised from graphene oxide (GO), ma-ghemite (MGH), and chitosan (CS) has been studied using different approaches. The physicochem-ical and morphological characteristics of the composites GO-MGH, GO-CS, GO-MGH-CS I, II, and III were determined by XRD, Mössbauer spectroscopy, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, and TEM. Ac-cording to the results of batch experiments, the maximum experimental adsorption capacity was 52, 54, 25, 103, and 102 mg/g for GO-MGH, GO-CS, GO-MGH-CS I, II, and III, respectively. The data obtained are in better agreement with the Langmuir, pseudo-second-order, and pseudo-first-order models only for GO-MGH. Thus, the adsorption of Eu(III) on the composites was a favourable, monolayer, and occurred at homogeneous sites. The nature of adsorption is chemical and, in the case of GO-MGH, physical. Tests of the composites in natural waters showed a high removal effi-ciency for Eu(III), Pu(IV), and Am(III), ranging from 74 to 100%. The ANFIS model has quite good predictive ability, as shown by the values for R2, MSE, SSE, and ARE. The GO-MGH-CS composites with the high adsorption capacity could be promising candidates for the removal of Eu(III) and the pre-concentration of Pu(IV) and Am(III) from natural waters

    Creation of universal laser equipment with expanded possibilites of application
