A Novel Approach for Eye Tracking using Driver Fatigue Monitoring
System describes a real-time online trial product driver-fatigue monitor or driver tiredness is captured. It means to capture the current state or mode of tiredness of driver whether the driver is in sleeping state or in wakening state. It uses remotely located charge-coupled-device cameras able to with active infrared illumination to acquire video images of the driver. Various cues that typically stated the level of attentiveness of a person that how an person is attentive are removed or take out in real time and systematic combined to infer the tiredness level of the driver. The some cues employed stated eyelid movement, steady movement, head movement, and facial expression. This is developed to model human fatigue and to know about fatigue based on the visual cues obtained. The simultaneous use of multiple optical cues and their methodical combination yields a much more robust and accurate fatigue categorization than using a single visual cue. This system was valid as real-life fatigue conditions with human subjects of different cultural backgrounds, genders, and ages as with or without glasses, and under different illumination conditions. It was found to be sensibly robust, reliable, and accurate in fatigue categorization

A deterministic inventory model has been developed for deteriorating items and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Fuzzy having a ramp type demands with the effects of inflation with two-warehouse facilities. The owned warehouse (OW) has a fixed capacity of W units; the rented warehouse (RW) has unlimited capacity. Here, we assumed that the inventory holding cost in RW is higher than those in OW. Shortages in inventory are allowed and partially backlogged and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Fuzzy it is assumed that the inventory deteriorates over time at a variable deterioration rate. The effect of inflation has also been considered for various costs associated with the inventory system and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Fuzzy. Numerical example is also used to study the behaviour of the model. Cost minimization technique is used to get the expressions for total cost and other parameters

Optimum mask and source patterns to print a given shape
Proceedings of S P I E - the International Society for OpticalNew degrees of freedom can be optimized in mask shapes when the source is also adjustable, because required image symmetries can be provided by the source rather than the collected wavefront. The optimized mask will often consist of novel sets of shapes that are quite different in layout from the target IC patterns. This implies that the optimization algorithm should have good global convergence properties, since the target patterns may not be a suitable starting solution. We have eveloped an algorithm that can optimize mask and source without using a starting design. Examples are shown where the process window obtained is between 2 and 6 times larger than that achieved with standard RET methods. The optimized masks require phase shift, but no trim mask is used. Thus far we have only optimized 2D patterns over small fields (periodicities of 1im or less). We also discuss mask optimization with fixed source, source optimization with fixed mask, and the re-targeting of designs in different mask regions to provide a common exposure level.published_or_final_versio
Bianchi Type-II String Cosmological Models in Normal Gauge for Lyra's Manifold with Constant Deceleration Parameter
The present study deals with a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic
Bianchi-II cosmological models representing massive strings in normal gauge for
Lyra's manifold by applying the variation law for generalized Hubble's
parameter that yields a constant value of deceleration parameter. The variation
law for Hubble's parameter generates two types of solutions for the average
scale factor, one is of power-law type and other is of the exponential form.
Using these two forms, Einstein's modified field equations are solved
separately that correspond to expanding singular and non-singular models of the
universe respectively. The energy-momentum tensor for such string as formulated
by Letelier (1983) is used to construct massive string cosmological models for
which we assume that the expansion () in the model is proportional to
the component of the shear tensor . This
condition leads to , where A, B and C are the metric coefficients
and m is proportionality constant. Our models are in accelerating phase which
is consistent to the recent observations. It has been found that the
displacement vector behaves like cosmological term in the
normal gauge treatment and the solutions are consistent with recent
observations of SNe Ia. It has been found that massive strings dominate in the
decelerating universe whereas strings dominate in the accelerating universe.

Temperature effect on the build-up of exponentially growing polyelectrolyte multilayers. An exponential-to-linear transition point
In this study, the effect of temperature on the build-up of exponentially growing polyelectrolyte multilayer films was investigated. It aims at understanding the multilayer growth mechanism as crucially important for the fabrication of tailor-made multilayer films. Model poly(L-lysine)/hyaluronic acid (PLL/HA) multilayers were assembled in the temperature range of 25–85 1C by layer-by-layer deposition using a dipping method. The film growth switches from the exponential to the linear regime at the transition point as a result of limited polymer diffusion into the film. With the increase of the build-up temperature the film growth rate is enhanced in both regimes; the position of the transition point shifts to a higher number of deposition steps confirming the diffusion-mediated growth mechanism. Not only the faster polymer diffusion into the film but also more porous/permeable film structure are responsible for faster film growth at higher preparation temperature. The latter mechanism is assumed from analysis of the film growth rate upon switching of the preparation temperature during the film growth. Interestingly, the as-prepared films are equilibrated and remain intact (no swelling or shrinking) during temperature variation in the range of 25–45 1C. The average activation energy for complexation between PLL and HA in the multilayers calculated from the Arrhenius plot has been found to be about 0.3 kJ mol 1 for monomers of PLL. Finally, the following processes known to be dependent on temperature are discussed with respect to the multilayer growth: (i) polymer diffusion, (ii) polymer conformational changes, and (iii) inter-polymer interactions
