New data on 22 species of bees of the family Megachilidae from the North Caucasus and the south of European Russia are reported. Six species are new to Russia: Hoplitis curvipes (Morawitz, 1871), Osmia cinerea Warncke, 1988, O. ligurica Morawitz, 1868, O. cyanoxantha PĂ©rez, 1879, Protosmia glutinosa (Giraud, 1871), and Coelioxys mielbergi Morawitz, 1880. Hoplitis turcestanica (Dalla Torre, 1896), sp. resurr. is treated as a distinct species, not a junior synonym of H. caularis (Morawitz, 1875). Megachile albocristata Smith, 1853 and M. alborufa Friese, 1911 are listed instead of previously recorded M. lefebvrei (Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau, 1841) and M. pyrenaica (Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau, 1841), respectively. Fourteen new regional records are reported: seven species are new to the North Caucasus, five ones are new to the south of European Russia, and two species are new to the European part of Russia as a whole. The numbers of megachilid bee species currently known in Russia, the North Caucasus, and the south of European Russia are 217, 130, and 71, respectively. The lectotype of Osmia proxima Morawitz, 1875 is designated

New distributional records of the family Sphecidae (Hymenoptera) in Azerbaijan

Data on 27 species of nine genera of digger wasps of the family Sphecidae collected in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan are presented. Of them, 20 species are recorded for the fauna of Azerbaijan for the first time. This article is based on the material of more than 170 specimens, collected by the authors in July 2018 and June 2019 in 30 localities of the republic. Currently, 258 species of digger wasps (Sphecidae – 27; Crabronidae – 231) are known from this country. It is assumed that the number of sphecid species in Azerbaijan may be at least twice as large

Seventeen species of six genera of bees of the tribe Anthidiini are recorded from Siberia and the Russian Far East. Icteranthidium fedtschenkoi (Morawitz, 1875) is recorded for the first time from Russia. The distribution data of Anthidiini species is enlarged. A male lectotype is designated for Anthidium comatum Morawitz, 1896. New synonymy has been established for Anthidium amurensis Radoszkowski, 1876 = A. comatum Morawitz, 1896, syn. n. Keys to the males and females of Anthidiini from Siberia and the Russian Far East are provided. The biotic patterns of bee distribution in Eastern Palaearctic region are discusse

Twenty two species of the bee genus Colletes Latreille, 1802 are recorded for the Republic of Dagestan of Russia (the North Caucasus). Six species, Colletes asiaticus Kuhlmann, 1999, C.  dorsalis Morawitz, 1888, C.  edentulus Noskiewicz, 1936, C.  hethiticus Warncke, 1978, C.  uralensis Noskiewicz, 1936, and C.  wollmanni Noskiewicz, 1936 are recorded for the first time for Russia and seven species, C. brevigena Noskiewicz, 1936, C.  carinatus Radoszkowski, 1891, C.  eous Morice, 1904, C.  floralis Eversmann, 1852, C.  fodiens (Fourcroy, 1785), C. maidli Noskiewicz, 1936, and C. tuberculatus Morawitz, 1893 are new to Dagestan. The number of Dagestanian Colletes species is supposed to be at least one fourth higher than known so far. Probably several species that are known from neighboring Azerbaijan, Georgia or North Caucasus regions of Russia also occur in Dagestan, such as C. hakkari Kuhlmann, 2002, C.  morawitzi Noskiewicz, 1936, C.  nasutus Smith, 1853, C.  penulatus Noskiewicz, 1936, C.  rubellus Noskiewicz, 1936, C.  subnitens Noskiewicz, 1936, or C.  warnckei Kuhlmann, 2002. The number of Colletes species reported from Russia increases to  51. Additionally, a new lectotype of C. caspicus Morawitz, 1874 is designate
