Naturally Degenerate Right Handed Neutrinos
In the context of supersymmetric theories, a weakly broken gauged SO(3)
flavour symmetry is used to produce two highly degenerate right handed (RH)
neutrinos. It is then shown that this SO(3) flavour symmetry is compatible with
all fermion masses and mixings if it is supplemented with a further SU(3)
flavour symmetry. A specific Susy breaking model is used to generate the light
neutrino masses as well as a natural model of TeV scale resonant leptogenesis.Comment: 13 Pages latex, version accepted to Phys. Rev.
Fuel transfer system permits rapid coupling
Docking and fuel transfer system provides an efficient method for transferring fuel from a tanker to another vehicle. With this system, no triggering operation is required prior to docking, the support system can be rigidized by simply locking the rams of shock absorbers, and no separate fuel line coupling action is required

Trust in electronic banking
Trust among stakeholders is vital for the successful implementation of IS projects such as electronic banking, because such IS initiative do not typically require face-to-face interactions. The Business-to-Business (B2B) model is an example of a relationship that facilitates the implementation of electronic banking. For example, ICT suppliers in alliance with banks to provide and support the IT infrastructure required for electronic banking implementation. These different stakeholders may have different perceptions of trust, which may affect electronic banking implementation. This short paper’s aim is to examine how trust from the stakeholder theory perspective impacts the implementation of electronic banking. This paper proposes, from the stakeholder perspective, an integrated framework that conceptualizes trust between B2B relationships as antecedent to the successful implementation of electronic banking. The research will be based on the multi-case study method. Our proposed study provides a foundation for researchers and practitioners alike in understanding the concept of trust and its impact on IS projects
Anomaly Holography
We consider, in the effective field theory context, anomalies of gauge field
theories on a slice of a five-dimensional, Anti-de Sitter geometry and their
four-dimensional, holographic duals. A consistent effective field theory
description can always be found, notwithstanding the presence of the anomalies
and without modifying the degrees of freedom of the theory. If anomalies do not
vanish, the d=4 theory contains additional pseudoscalar states, which are
either present in the low-energy theory as physical, light states, or are eaten
by (would-be massless) gauge bosons. We show that the pseudoscalars ensure that
global anomalies of the four-dimensional dual satisfy the 't Hooft matching
condition and comment on the relevance for warped models of electroweak
symmetry breaking.Comment: 26 pages, references adde
Discrete mechanics and variational integrators
This paper gives a review of integration algorithms for finite dimensional mechanical systems that are based on discrete variational principles. The variational technique gives a unified treatment of many symplectic schemes, including those of higher order, as well as a natural treatment of the discrete Noether theorem. The approach also allows us to include forces, dissipation and constraints in a natural way. Amongst the many specific schemes treated as examples, the Verlet, SHAKE, RATTLE, Newmark, and the symplectic partitioned Runge–Kutta schemes are presented
