The purpose of this work is to develop a complex for research and measurement of parameters and characteristics of radio technical facilities (RTF). The complex is designed to generate ultra-wideband signals from 2 to 298 GHz in measuring systems that require the generation of complex radio signals: antenna measurements, research of radar characteristics and electrodynamic parameters of materials. The task is achieved by the fact that the quadrature signals of the results of the summation of the useful signal with noises that interfere with reflections and interference, are formed in the complex. Coherent signals are generated in analog form over four channels, and replaceable modules of the infrared frequency carrier and antennas form signals that are radiated into space. Replaceable blocks provide cascaded sequential mixing of the main signal with the local oscillator frequency. An algorithm for the use of digital filtering to the sine and cosine components of the quadrature signal in vector network analyzer is presented. Filters used for calibration and measuring stages to the original signals in volts and end measurements values. The purpose of the article is to carry out mathematical modeling of the main characteristics and parameters of a microstrip antenna, the dielectric substrate of which is created from a domestic ceramic sample and to substantiate the use of a microstrip antenna as a transmitting and receiving antenna in a radio altimeter. It is shown that a microstrip antenna on a ceramic material substrate with a relative permittivity Ξ΅ = 9.6 and a thickness of 0.2 mm has good electrical parameters in the frequency range of 31.5β33.5 GHz. Including the width of the antenna radiation pattern at the level of β3 dB is 12.5 degrees in the horizontal plane and 26.7 degrees in the vertical plane. In this case, the antenna gain is 17 dB and the level of the first side lobe is β20 dB relative to the main antenna lobe. Also the practical application of microstrip array antennas inphase as a transmitting and receiving antenna for a radio altimeter installed on aircraft is described in the article. Digital filtering of square signals of chains' vector analizers
An algorithm for the use of digital filtering to the sine and cosine components of the quadrature signal in vector network analyzer is presented. Filters used for calibration and measuring stages to the original signals in volts and end measurements values. The mathematical model of three different methods of digital filtering, used together, and allowing better form quadrature signals and remove the noise of various origins in the analyzed signal is presented
