PERBANDINGAN KOMPOSISI KIMIA PERISA TULANG IKAN TUNA (Thunnus albacares) DAN KULIT UDANG ( Litopenaeus vannamei)
Utilization of the waste of processed fisheries product is obtain a product with a good chemical properties and also zero waste product. flavoring is a product can be obtain from utilization of processedfisheries waste. This study purposed to produce natural flavoring by using tuna bone and shrimp shells. This research used 3 treatments ratio of broth and maltodextrin and was performed and chemicalanalysis involve moisture, ash, protein and fat were carried out. The results showed that the best flavoring product obtained from the ratio of broth and maltodextrin 100 ml : 100 mg (A1), both for tunabone and shrimp shells.

Effects of dietary diludine supplementation on growth, proximate composition, muscle and texture structure of rainbow trout juveniles
A feeding trial which lasted for eight weeks was conducted to investigate the effects of diludine, a growth promoter, on feed efficiency, muscle structure and proximate composition of juvenile rainbow trout. Diludine was added at 0.0(D0) 0.2(D1), 0.5(D2) and 1(D3) g kg^-1 to a casein-based diet, and every diet was given to the triplicated groups of juvenile rainbow trout. At the end of experiment, it was determined that a significant improvability existed for both growth and feed utilization in fish fed diets supplemented with diludine (p<0.05). Similarly, different concentrations of diludine affected the densitometric quantification of myofibrillar proteins in fish muscle according to results obtained by Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The mean value of fiber diameters significantly increased in skeletal muscle with increasing concentrations of diludine. The histological results also showed hypertrophic adipocytes in skeletal muscle of fish fed D2 and D3 diets. The lowest elasticity values were observed in fish fed the control diet while those fed D3 diet had highest elasticity values. On the other hand, no differences were found between fish fed experimental diets in terms of survival rate and all fish exhibited similar proximate composition for protein, lipid, moisture and ash. Consequently, it may be suggested that dietary diludine supplementation up to 1 g kg^-1 concentration in the diets have positive impacts on growth of rainbow trout juveniles and the better growth in the fish fed with diludine supplements could be arise from muscle characteristics, in particular changes in fibres than proximate composition of the muscles
Effects of salicylic acid on wheat salt sensitivity
Salicylic acid (SA), a plant phenolic compound, is now considered as a hormone-like endogenous regulator, and there is a great interest to clarify its role in the defence mechanisms against biotic and abiotic stressors. In this study, investigations on the effects of foliar-applied SA on salt sensitivity, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) generation and activities of antioxidant enzymes like peroxidase (POX) and catalase (CAT) in plant tissues under salt stress was performed. SA treatment significantly increased the fresh and dry weights in both root and shoots of wheat plants under salt stress. Similarly, POX and CAT activities were also augmented by SA treatment. While the highest POX activity was recorded at SA+120 mM NaCl, CAT activity also exhibited an increase compared to salt treatment without SA. In parallel to increasing antioxidative activity, SA treatment decreased H2O2 content when compared to plants growing under salt stress without SA. The results revealed that salt-induced deleterious effect in wheat seedlings were significantly alleviated by the SA treatment. SA can be used as a signal molecule to investigate plant defense to abiotic stress. After the application of SA, increasing tolerance of wheat seedlings to salt stress may be related to increases in antioxidative enzyme activitiy.Key words: Wheat, salicylic acid, antioxidative enzyme activities, peroxidase (POX), catalase (CAT), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) content
PENANGANAN PASCA TANGKAP HASIL PERIKANAN DI NEGERI WAAI KECAMATAN SALAHUTU KABUPATEN MALUKU TENGAH
Waai Vilage is one of the of fresh fish producers located in Salahutu District, Maluku Tengah Regency. The availability of fresh fish for community needs is an important factor that must be fulfill by fishermen and seller so that an understanding of handling fish is very importance when it’s caught to the hands of consumers remains at a good and prime level of freshness. The importance of post-capture handling fish will have a positive impact on fishermen, seller and consumers because it will provide value added to the fish, the selling value will be higher, the nutrition of the fish caught will also be maintained so that it will affect further processed products
Effects of feed refreshing frequency on growth and carcass characteristics of Awassi lambs
Sixty, two-month old male Awassi lambs were used in this study to investigate the effects of feed refreshing (FR) frequencies on their growth and carcass characteristics over a period of 65 days. Treatments were: Feed refreshing at 2 h (FR2), 4 h (FR4), 8 h (FR8), 12 h (FR12) and 24 h (FR24) intervals. The lambs were fed individually. At the onset of each refreshing period the lambs were offered fresh feed ad libitum. Daily feed intakes, weekly live weights and carcass characteristics were recorded. Daily feed intakes per lamb per treatment were: 1.13 kg, 1.05 kg, 1.00 kg, 0.98 kg and 0.95 kg; daily gains were 193.6 g, 180.6 g, 148.6 g, 169.3 g and 146.4 g; feed conversion ratios (kg feed/kg gain) were 6.1, 6.7, 7.2, 7.2 and 7.5; hot carcass weights were 13.0 kg, 13.1 kg, 12.1 kg, 13.3 kg and 13.1 kg; dressing percentages were 42.3%, 42.4%, 39.9%, 40.2% and 41.2%; the proportion of muscle in the carcass was 52.0%, 55.2%, 55.6%, 55.8% and 54.8%; bone ratio was 20.4%, 20.3%, 21.9%, 21.1% and 20.9%; subcutaneous fat ratio was 16.9%, 14.2%, 12.9%, 12.7% and 14.0% and intramuscular fat ratio was 8.8%, 7.1%, 6.8%, 8.7% and 7.7% in FR2, FR4, FR8, FR12 and FR24 treatments, respectively. Results showed that frequent feed refreshing stimulated feed intake and daily gain without affecting carcass characteristics. Intersecting S-Brane Solutions of D=11 Supergravity
We construct all possible orthogonally intersecting S-brane solutions in
11-dimensions corresponding to standard supersymmetric M-brane intersections.
It is found that the solutions can be obtained by multiplying the brane and the
transverse directions with appropriate powers of two hyperbolic functions of
time. This is the S-brane analog of the ``harmonic function rule''. The
transverse directions can be hyperbolic, flat or spherical. We also discuss
some properties of these solutions.Comment: 12 pages, Latex, a reference adde
