    Quenching of light hadrons at RHIC in a collisional energy loss scenario

    We evaluate the nuclear suppression factor, RAA(pT)R_{AA}(p_T) for light hadrons by taking into account the collisional energy loss.     This research aimed to identify the factors that affect the production and the amount of income on wetlandrice farmin Minti Makmur Village Riopakava Subdistrict Donggala Regency. The determination of respondents was carried out through Simple Random Sampling Method. The number of samples was 31 people taken from a population of 102. The analytical tool used was the functional production analysis of Cobb-Douglass and income analysis. The results of the researchshowed that the area of land, seed,urea fertilizer, ponska fertilizer, while sp36 fertilizer and meanwhile significantly effected on the production of wetland rice farmat 95%.     Beef Abon is made from shredded beef mixed with spices and favorite to all ages, this Abon is very familiar among Indonesian that bring apparently business opportunity to people. This study aimed to study the cost, the amount of production, selling prices and revenues received during this Abon business reached its break-even point. Results showed that beef Abon products sell in a 500 g packaged reaches the break-even point at 33 packs, selling price shall be 137, 500 IDR per pack with revenue of 4,537, 500 IDR; and a 400 g package reaches its break-even point at 30 packs, the selling price is 110,000 IDR with revenue of 3,300,000 IDR, for a 250 g package the break-even point reaches 32 packs, selling price is 68, 750 IDR per pack and revenue is 2,232,000 IDR, for a 200 g package the break-even point is 31 packs , the selling price will be 55,000 IDR with revenue of 1,705,000 IDR, and a 100 g package has break-even point at 31 packs and selling price of 27,500 IDR per pack with revenues of 852,500 IDR

    Sidera Village was one of the villages that were potentially to become producers of paddy (rice),located in Sigi Biromaru District. This research aims to determine the revenue ofrice farming with jajar legowo pattern inSidera Village Sigi Biromaru District Sigi Regency. This research was carried out in March to April 2016,the samples taken amounted to 31 respondents from the farmer population of 110 people who cultivate rice farming with jajar legowo pattern. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The analysis of data used was revenue analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the average revenue gained by therice farmers in one planting season was Rp 10,102,095/1.15ha/PL with the average large of land owned by the respondents amounted to 1.15 ha,the total cost amounted to Rp 6,045,098, and the average revenue amounted to of Rp 16,147,193 so that in the right implementation of jajar legowo pattern, it is expected to provide benefits for the farmers

    This study aimed to analyze the income of household bread industry of Aisyah bakery in palu. This research site was located at Mandala Street, North Birobuli, South Palu subdistrict of Palu City, for two months starting from February to March 2017. Determination of respondents in this study was done purposively. The respondents were one leader of Aisyah Bakery Industry, and three employees of the Bakery Industry, so that the total number of the respondents was four people. The income of the bakery was analyzed using the income analysis. The total revenue generated by the bakery was IDR 35,100,000 with the total cost of IDR 24,503,269. Therefore, the income of the bakery was IDR 10,596,731

    Validated High Performance Liquid Chromatography Method for Analysis of Cefadroxil Monohydrate in Human Plasma

    Purpose: To develop a simple, rapid and sensitive high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the determination of cefadroxil monohydrate in human plasma.Methods: Schimadzu HPLC with LC solution software was used with Waters Spherisorb, C18 (5 μm, 150mm × 4.5mm) column. The mobile phase was sodium dihydrogen phosphate buffer pH 4.0 and methanol in a ratio of 96:4. Flow rate was 1.5 ml/min and injection volume was 100 μl. Peak response was detected at 260 nm.Results: System suitability results revealed that the coefficient of variation (CV) for retention time, peak response, tailing factor and resolution of six replicate injections was < 3 %. The method was selective to determine cefadroxil in plasma because there was no peak interference of plasma with cefadroxil at its retention time (7.792 min). Linearity was in the range of 0.5 - 30 μg/ml with slope and intercept of 41694.53 and 22614.87, respectively (R2 = 0.9953). Limit of detection (LOD) and lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) of the method were 0.03 and 0.06 μg/ml, respectively. Absolute recovery of cefadroxil from plasma was in the range 71 - 90.4 %, while inter-day and intra-day analysis showed satisfactory precision and accuracy; thus, the method was reproducible with the range of CV, i.e., 0.35 - 4.01 and 1.88 - 7.9 % for interday and intraday precision, respectively.Conclusion: The developed method being simple, rapid, reproducible can be suitably employed in pharmacokinetic and bioequivalence studies of cefadroxil monohydrate.Keywords: Validation, Cefadroxil monohydrate, Human plasma, Pharmacokinetics Bioequivalenc

    Lattice thermal conductivity of disordered NiPd and NiPt alloys

    Numerical calculations of lattice thermal conductivity are reported for the binary alloys NiPd and NiPt. The present work is a continuation of an earlier paper by us [PRB, 72, 214207 (2005)]which had developed a theoretical framework for the calculation of configuration-averaged lattice thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity in disordered alloys. The formulation was based on the augmented space theorem combined with a scattering diagram technique. In this paper we shall show dependence of the lattice thermal conductivity on a series of variables like phonon frequency, temperature and alloy composition. The temperature dependence of κ(T)\kappa(T) and its realtion to the measured thermal conductivity is discussed. The concentration dependence of κ\kappa appears to justify the notion of a minimum thermal conductivity as discussed by Kittel, Slack and others. We also study the frequency and composition dependence of the thermal diffusivity averaged over modes. A numerical estimate of this quantity gives an idea about the location of mobility edge and the fraction of states in the frequency spectrum which is delocalized.Comment: 23 pages, 18 figure

    Proposal of a topological M(atrix) theory

    Keeping in mind the several models of M(atrix) theory we attempt to understand the possible structure of the topological M(atrix) theory ``underlying'' these approaches. In particular we are motivated by the issue about the nature of the structure of the vacuum of the topological M(atrix) theory and how this could be related to the vacuum of the electroweak theory. In doing so we are led to a simple topological matrix model. Moreover it is intuitively expected from the current understanding that the noncommutative nature of ``spacetime'' and background independence should lead to a topological Model. The main purpose of this note is to propose a simple topological Matrix Model which bears relation to F and M theories. Suggestions on the origin of the chemical potential term appearing in the matrix models are given.Comment: 14 pages revte
