    Legal Regime for the Enforcement of Foreign Court Judgments and Arbitral Awards in the Eurasian Economic Union

    In today’s world, there is intense competition between integration entities that are working to strengthen and expand their political and economic positions. This article examines the movement of the Eurasian Economic Union in this direction. Aim. To propose a way to ensure a common legal space in the Eurasian Economic Union.Tasks. To analyse the regulation in force in the Eurasian Economic Union on the execution of court judgments and arbitral awards, to identify problems that member states of the Eurasian Economic Union may encounter in the execution of court judgments and arbitral awards.Methods. In this work were used both general scientific methods of knowledge: analysis, synthesis, generalization, and particular scientific methods: formal-logical, formal-legal, comparative-legal, method of legal prediction.Results. One of the most acute problems faced by states in the execution of judicial and arbitral decisions is the problem of execution of annulled judicial or arbitral decisions. To prevent this problem within the European Economic Union, the author considers that the members of the European Economic Union should not accede to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgements in Civil or Commercial Matters of 2 July 2019, as it does not resolve the fate of annulled judgements. With regard to arbitral awards, it would be desirable for the Member States of the European Economic Union to conclude between themselves a protocol to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards of 10 June 1958, which would exclude the enforceability of annulled arbitral awards in all the States parties to the Protocol. The drafting of this additional protocol could be entrusted to the Eurasian Economic Commission of the European Economic Union.Conclusions. The Eurasian Economic Union needs to create a predictable legal space, which would primarily be ensured by the free movement of judicial and arbitral decisions

    The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cd(C30H31N3O6)2](PF6)2·3H2O, contains one half-cation with the CdII center situated on a twofold rotational axis, one hexa­fluoridophosphate anion and two uncoordinated water mol­ecules, one of which is also situated on a twofold rotational axis. The cations are associated into columns along the a axis through π–π inter­actions between the pyridine and benzene rings, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.72 (5) Å.     PERMITTIVITY DISPERSION FEATURES OF A NEMATIC LIQUID CRYSTAL WITH QUANTUM DOTS

    Subject of Research. The paper deals with research of dielectric properties of suspensions for a nematic liquid crystal (LC) with positive dielectric anisotropy Δε = 10.5, doped with semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) CdSe / ZnS, and dependence on their concentration in the range of 0.05-0.3 wt. %. Methods. The studies were carried out by the method of dielectric spectroscopy. A special flat titanium cell with the distance between the electrodes equal to 250 μm was used for the measurement. The voltage was applied to the electrodes. The dispersion of parallel and normal parts of the real and imaginary components of the dielectric permittivity was measured in the range from 50 Hz to 6.5 MHz at the orienting magnetic field equal to 4 • 105 A / m applied to a cell. Main Results. Deviation of the permittivity spectra of suspensions with QDs concentration growth was observed from a spectrum of the pure LC. It was caused by losses of free ions on the conductivity at frequencies below 103 Hz. The shift of a peak in the suspension spectrum at frequencies above 106 Hz is associated with relaxation of the LC molecules orientation. It has been shown that lowering in the range of 103 -104 Hz with concentration increasing up to 0.3 wt. % did not exceed 4%. Practical Relevance Obtained results give the possibility to explain the change in macroscopic properties of the liquid crystal as a result of doping

    Liquid silyl derivative of beta-cyclodextrin

    © ISUCT Publishing. Per-6-O-(tert-butyl)(diphenyl)silyl-β-cyclodextrin was found to form metastable liquid phase, which is unusual for cyclodextrin mono-derivatives under ambient conditions. Also, it can exist in a solid amorphous state as a stable molecular glass. Conditions and parameters of phase transitions between crystal, glassy and liquid forms were determined. The studied compound is soluble in various solvents. Crystallization from its solutions and overcooled melt results in formation of two different polymorphs. The liquid mono-derivative of beta-cyclodextrin is amphiphilic and preferable for application in solutions, in pure form or even as a solvent for substrates with various structures

    ИЗУЧЕНИЕ ИММУНОТОКСИЧЕСКИХ СВОЙСТВ АВЕРСЕКТА ФОРТЕ И АВЕРСЕКТА КОМБИ

    Objective of research:  Determination of possible immunotoxic properties of Aversect  Forte (Ivermectin + Abamectin) and Aversect Combi (Ivermectin + Aversectin С). Materials and methods: The immunotoxic properties  of Aversect Forte and Aversect Combi were studied using the agglutination test and delayed hypersensitivity response. Mice were injected subcutaneously twice daily with  the drug  at a therapeutic dose 0,05 ml/ind.  In each experimental group, there were 7–10 mice of the line СВА × С57BL/6 with the mass of 18–20 g.  The control group received solvent injections.   The effect of  the drugs on antibody formation was determined by hemagglutination  reaction on  the background of immunization of mice with sheep erythrocytes.   Agglutinin titres were detected by a direct micro-hemagglutination test along with the calculation of Reaction Index. The effect of drugs on the T-cell immunity in vivo  was  estimated using the  delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions to sheep erythrocytes.    Mice were immunized with the 3% suspension of sheep erythrocytes injected into the abdomen simultaneously with the recent injection of the tested drug. Results and discussion:  The administration of tested drugs didn’t have a suppressive effect on serogenesis in mice from experimental groups – 7,7±0,21 and  7,4±0,22 (log2) in comparison to the controls – 8,0±0,0 (log2); Reaction Index was 0,96–0,93, respectively. The administration of Aversect Forte  may cause a slight decrease in induction of delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions in mice in comparison with the controls: 7,10±0,57  and 10,71±1,95 %, respectively. Regardless of slight decrease in inflammation index (up to 9,07±2,51 %), when using Aversect Combi at the therapeutic dose, this difference is uncertain statistically in relation to the control values. Цель исследования  –  определение возможных иммунотоксических свойств  аверсекта  форте (ивермектин + абамектин) и аверсекта комби (ивермектин + аверсектин С). Материалы и методы.  Изучение иммунотоксических свойств аверсекта форте  и  аверсекта комби проводили с применением реакции агглютинации и  гиперчувствительности замедленного типа. Препарат для исследования вводили мышам двукратно подкожно в терапевтической дозе 0,05 мл/гол. В каждой опытной  группе было по 7–10 мышей линии СВА × С57BL/6 массой 18–20 г. Животным контрольных групп вводили растворитель. Влияние препаратов на антителообразование определяли в  реакции гемагглютинации на фоне  иммунизации мышей эритроцитами барана (ЭБ). Титры агглютининов определяли в микроварианте прямой реакции гемагглютинации с вычислением индекса реакции. Влияние  препаратов на Т-клеточный иммунитет  in  vivo  оценивали у мышей по реакции гиперчувствительности замедленного типа (ГЗТ) к ЭБ. Одновременно с последним введением тестируемого препарата мышей внутрибрюшинно иммунизировали 3%-ной взвесью ЭБ. Результаты и обсуждение. Введение испытуемых препаратов не оказало угнетающего влияния на антителогенез у мышей опытных групп – 7,7±0,21 и 7,4±0,22 (log2) по сравнению с контролем – 8,0±0,0 (log2), индекс реакции составил  соответственно 0,96–0,93.  Введение аверсекта форте несколько тормозит индукцию ГЗТ в организме мышей по сравнению с  контролем:  7,10±0,57 и 10,71±1,95 % соответственно. Однако при введении аверсекта комби в терапевтической дозе хотя и происходит некоторое снижение индекса воспаления до 9,07±2,51 %, но относительно показателя контрольной группы эта разница статистически недостоверна. 

    Myocardial damage biomarkers and the first case of macrotroponin I detection in endurance athletes

    Background. High levels of cardiac troponin in the blood indicates myocardial injury, including those caused by intense exercises. Recent studies have shown that an elevation in the troponin concentration in the patients can be caused by the macrotroponin circulation. There is no data in the scientific literature describing this problem in athletes.The aim. To identify the cases and possible causes of high blood levels of cardiac markers in athletes before and after endurance exercises.Materials and methods. The study was conducted on 11 male cross-country skiers aged 15–21 years. The study included two stages: the first was conducted at the end of the preparatory period (November, 2020–2021), the second – in the middle (March) of the 2020–2021 competitive period. At each stage, two blood samples were taken from a vein: the first – in the morning on an empty stomach after a day of rest, the second – 12–14 hours after a high-intensity exercise. In the blood serum, the activity of total creatine kinase (CK), weight concentration of the cardiac isoenzyme of creatine kinase (CK-MB), and concentration of high sensitive troponin I (Tn) were measured.Results. The activity of CK in athletes exceeded the upper limit threshold, and decreased from the preparatory (November) to the competitive (March) period. The concentration of CK-MB in response to exercise increased by 2 times and was not accompanied by the signs of myocardial injury. The most sensitive indicator, responsive to physical activity, was troponin I. However, the highest elevation of Tn in blood of one athlete, both before and after the exercise, was associated with the presence of macrotroponin without signs of myocardial injury.Conclusions. An increase of muscle tissue injury biomarkers in blood, including the heart muscle (CK, CK-MB, and Tn), by 2–4 times is a typical reaction for the body of a cross-country skier to an intense exercise. High levels of troponin in the blood, both before and after training or competition, may be associated with the presence of macrotroponin

    Polarization Separation of Light Beams at the Interface of Two Mesophases

    The features of reflection of the linearly polarized light beams at the interface between two regions of a nematic liquid crystal (LC) with the orthogonal director orientation have been analyzed. The relationship between light beam propagation in a LC material and polarization of laser radiation has been established. Rotation of the polarization plane of a light beam has been found for the radiation introduced through the free surface “LC—air” deformed due to the capillarity effect. The total internal reflection effect has been demonstrated experimentally together with the possibility for special separation of the orthogonally polarized light beams at the interface of two mesophases.This work was supported by the Belarusian Foundation for Fundamental Research, Project F10MC-02
