    Adlayer core-level shifts of random metal overlayers on transition-metal substrates

    We calculate the difference of the ionization energies of a core-electron of a surface alloy, i.e., a B-atom in a A_(1-x) B_x overlayer on a fcc-B(001)-substrate, and a core-electron of the clean fcc-B(001) surface using density-functional-theory. We analyze the initial-state contributions and the screening effects induced by the core hole, and study the influence of the alloy composition for a number of noble metal-transition metal systems. Data are presented for Cu_(1-x)Pd_x/Pd(001), Ag_(1-x) Pd_x/Pd(001), Pd_(1-x) Cu_x/Cu(001), and Pd_(1-x) Ag_x/Ag(001), changing x from 0 to 100 %. Our analysis clearly indicates the importance of final-state screening effects for the interpretation of measured core-level shifts. Calculated deviations from the initial-state trends are explained in terms of the change of inter- and intra-atomic screening upon alloying.     This research was conducted by focusing the discussion on the issue of the implementation of goodgovernance in the process of Staffing of the Agency\u27s employees in the rekruitment area of the city ofManado. This research aims to find out how the implementation of good governance in the process ofrekruitment of the civil State apparatus in manado City area staffing agency.The research was conducted using qualitative research methods to explore and build a preposition or explainthe meaning behind the reality of regional Staffing Agency in Manado city with number of respondents asmuch as 5 employees. The techniques used to conduct the data collection is the observation, interviews, anddocumentation. Technique of data analysis used in qualitative research is a model, Miles and Huberman.Based on research done then it is known that there is a good and clear communication regarding the processof Staffing of the Agency\u27s employees in the rekruitment area of the city of Manado; the availability ofresources that support such as HUMAN RESOURCES and means as well as infrastructure in therekruitment employees; the level of honesty and commitment to employee-owned well enough; as well as thebureaucratic structure that is not such a convoluted process of rekruitment which made online to anticipategoing wild charges, already felt good. In terms of transparency and accountability in the process ofrekruitment has been very good but there are still some things that need to be enhanced to further improvethe quality of existing employees

    Potential, core-level and d band shifts at transition metal surfaces

    We have extended the validity of the correlation between the surface 3d-core-level shift (SCLS) and the surface d band shift (SDBS) to the entire 4d transition metal series and to the neighboring elements Sr and Ag via accurate first-principles calculations. We find that the correlation is quasilinear and robust with respect to the differencies both between initial and final-state calculations of the SCLS's and two distinct measures of the SDBS's. We show that despite the complex spatial dependence of the surface potential shift (SPS) and the location of the 3d and 4d orbitals in different regions of space, the correlation exists because the sampling of the SPS by the 3d and 4d orbitals remains similar. We show further that the sign change of the SCLS's across the transition series does indeed arise from the d band-narrowing mechanism previously proposed. However, while in the heavier transition metals the predicted increase of d electrons in the surface layer relative to the bulk arises primarily from transfers from s and p states to d states within the surface layer, in the lighter transition metals the predicted decrease of surface d electrons arises primarily from flow out into the vacuum.Comment: RevTex, 22 pages, 5 figures in uufiles form, to appear in Phys.Rev.

    :Village Consultative Body (BPD) is one of the perpetrators of PNPM Rural in the village which serves as the agency that oversees the process of each stage desa.Tujuan PNPM Rural in this study to determine how the function of BPD supervision of the implementation of PNPM Rural Village Kalasey One Subdistrict Mandolang Minahasa.The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The focus of research is supervision of BPD at the planning and implementation stages of PNPM Mandiri in the village. Informants were taken from perpetrators PNPM Rural Village Kalasey One, entirely as many as 10 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews. Data analysis technique used is descriptive-qualitative analysis interactive model of Miles and Hubernann.Based on research results ditariki conclusions: (1). BPD supervisory functions in the planning activities of PNPM Rural done fairly well, namely through the activity of BPD in every stage of the planning of activities ranging from the preparation and dissemination of early, stage of planning at the village and district. (2) The oversight function of BPD at the stage of implementation of PNPM Mandiri in the village is quite well done is through the activity of BPD in each stage of the start of the preparatory meetings implementation in the village, distribution and use of funds, procurement of labor, materials and tools, monitoring and evaluate progress on implementation of activities in the field, and village meetings for accountability by the implementation team.Based on the results of this penellian then it can be recommended some suggestion that: although PNPM Mandiri is no longer there, but the results achieved must be maintained and preserved to support the efforts penanggunglangan poverty. For that BPD oversight function to be needed in the maintenance and preservation of the results of PNPM Mandiri.Keywords: Monitoring, BPD, PNPM Mandiri
