    O Urochloa decumbens cv. Basilisk Ă© uma forrageira utilizada devido a sua tolerĂąncia a solos com alto teor de alumĂ­nio e baixa fertilidade, alĂ©m de rĂĄpido estabelecimento. As forrageiras sĂŁo constantemente atacadas por outros organismos e possuem, assim, mecanismos prĂ©-formados e induzĂ­veis de autodefesa, que estĂŁo relacionados a genes de resistĂȘncia (Genes R). Esses genes tĂȘm papel fundamental no reconhecimento de proteĂ­nas especĂ­ficas expressadas por genes de avirulĂȘncia (Avr) e podem ser distribuĂ­das em classes que apresentam diferentes mecanismos moleculares, sendo as principais, CNLs, TNLs, RLPs e RLKs. Assim, o objetivo do trabalho foi descobrir os genes de resistĂȘncia expressos por U. decumbens que sejam comuns aos genes de resistĂȘncia de outras gramĂ­neas. Foi realizado um estudo do transcritoma de U. decumbens atravĂ©s do sequenciamento Illumina. As sequĂȘncias foram tratadas e anotadas, e entĂŁo, organizadas em um banco de dados. Em seguida, retribuĂ­ram-se sequĂȘncias de transcrito primĂĄrio das gramĂ­neas Setaria italica, Sorghum bicolor, Brachypodion distachyon, Zea mays, Panicum virgatum e Oryza sativa do banco de dados Phytozome, organizando-as em um banco de dados local atravĂ©s de SQL

    The Lithium-ion battery is one of the most common batteries used in Electric Vehicles (EVs) due to the specific features of high energy density, power density, long life span and environment friendly. With the development of lithium-ion battery technology, different materials have been adopted in the design of the cathodes and anodes in order to gain a better performance. LiMn2O4LiMn_{2}O_{4} , LiNiMnCoO2LiNiMnCoO_{2} , LiNiCoAlO2LiNiCoAlO_{2} , LiFePO4LiFePO_{4} and Li4Ti5O12Li_{4}Ti_{5}O_{12} are five common lithium-ion batteries adopted in commercial EVs nowadays.     Mixed microbial culture polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) production has been investigated by using olive oil mill wastewater (OMW) as no-cost feedstock in a multi-stage process, also involving phenols removal and recovery. The selection of PHA-storing microorganisms occurred in a sequencing batch reactor (SBR), fed with dephenolized and fermented OMW and operated at different organic loading rates (OLR), ranging from 2.40 to 8.40. gCOD/L. d. The optimal operating condition was observed at an OLR of 4.70. gCOD/L. d, which showed the highest values of storage rate and yield (339. ±. 48. mgCOD/gCOD. h and 0.56. ±. 0.05 COD/COD, respectively). The OLR applied to the SBR largely affected the performance of the PHA-accumulating reactor, which was fed through multiple pulsed additions of pretreated OMW. From an overall mass balance, involving all the stages of the process, an abatement of about 85% of the OMW initial COD (chemical oxygen demand) was estimated whereas the conversion of the influent COD into PHA was about 10% (or 22% by taking into account only the COD contained in the pretreated OMW, which is directly fed to the PHA production stages). Overall, polymer volumetric productivity (calculated from the combination of both the SBR and the accumulation reactor) accounted for 1.50. gPHA/L

    The invention relates to a device for removing the slag from the deslagging area of a furnace and for recovering thermal energy from the slag. The device comprises: - a loading zone, which receives the hot liquid slag; - an unloading zone, which releases the cooled solid slag; - a dragging conveyor extending from the loading zone to the unloading zone and which comprises: - a support surface supporting the slag; and - a plurality of dragging elements dragging the slag; - a thermal exchange circuit which extends along the dragging conveyor and which comprises a thermal carrier fluid suitable for absorbing part of the heat in the slag and to render it available for a user device. In accordance with a second aspect, the invention relates to a steelmaking plant comprising a furnace and a device according to the invention.
