    Get PDF
The article considers the history of the formation and development of Iran-Russia cultural contacts in the framework of time-consistent political and economic discourses. An important role of Russian and Persian languages and literatures of both countries in this process is noted, and a decisive role of societies of cultural relations between Russia and Iran in the development of bilateral cultural relations is emphasized. Particular attention in this context is paid to the last decades, when cultural cooperation becomes an important factor in the foreign policy strategy of the two countries. The article is devoted to the development of Egypt-Russia relations in the aspect of the inter-civilization dialogue; the dynamics of their development in different historical eras are analyzed, factors that have had a decisive influence on the nature of bilateral interaction are considered.peer-reviewe

ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT OF THE RESOURCE POTENTIAL OF MACROMYCETES OF THE ORENBURG REGION

    Get PDF
Biological resources are the part of common natural resource potential of one or another territory. Rational use and efficient management of the potential of biological resources is possible only at the base of the study of qualitative and quantitative indicators of different types of resources and their versatile objective assessment. Objective data on the value of the resources can be used for optimization of environmental impact assessment of the construction and functioning of industrial objects. The article discusses approaches to economic assessment of potential biological resources at the example of macromycetes resources. The total economic value of mycobiota includes the cost of the direct use, indirect costs, the value of deferred alternatives, as well as the value of disuse (value of existence). Data on characteristics of the mycobiota of South Urals (Orenburg region) is analyzed. The results of the assessment of the environmental, social and economic cost components of fungal biota, including deals with economic effect from measures on the conservation of species diversity of fungi in the region is given. According to approximate estimations the total economic value of the resource potential of regional mycobiota is 1936 million rubles/year

Neither a Nitric Oxide Donor Nor Potassium Channel Blockage Inhibit RBC Mechanical Damage Induced by a Roller Pump

Red blood cells (RBC) are exposed to various levels of shear stresses when they are exposed to artificial flow environments, such as extracorporeal flow circuits and hemodialysis equipment. This mechanical trauma affects RBC and the resulting effect is determined by the magnitude of shear forces and exposure time. It has been previously demonstrated that nitric oxide (NO) donors and potassium channel blockers could prevent the sub-hemolytic damage to RBC, when they are exposed to 120 Pa shear stress in a Couette shearing system. This study aimed at testing the effectiveness of NO donor sodium nitroprussid (SNP, 10-4 M) and non-specific potassium channel blocker tetraethylammonium (TEA, 10-7 M) in preventing the mechanical damage to RBC in a simple flow system including a roller pump and a glass capillary of 0.12 cm diameter. RBC suspensions were pumped through the capillary by the roller pump at a flow rate that maintains 200 mmHg hydrostatic pressure at the entrance of the capillary. An aliquot of 10 ml of RBC suspension of 0.4 L/L hematocrit was re-circulated through the capillary for 30 minutes. Plasma hemoglobin concentrations were found to be significantly increased (~7 folds compared to control aliquot which was not pumped through the system) and neither SNP nor TEA prevented this hemolysis. Alternatively, RBC deformability assessed by laser diffraction ektacytometry was not altered after 30 min of pumping and both SNP and TEA had no effect on this parameter. The results of this study indicated that, in contrast with the findings in RBC exposed to a well-defined magnitude of shear stress in a Couette shearing system, the mechanical damage induced by a roller pump could not be prevented by NO donor or potassium channel blocker

Peculiarities of electronic heat capacity of thulium cuprates in pseudogap state

Precise calorimetric measurements have been carried out in the 7 - 300 K temperature range on two ceramic samples of thulium 123 cuprates TmBa2Cu3O6.92 and TmBa2Cu3O6.70. The temperature dependence of the heat capacity was analyzed in the region where the pseudogap state (PGS) takes place. The lattice contribution was subtracted from the experimental data. The PGS component has been obtained by comparing electronic heat capacities of two investigated samples because the PGS contribution for the 6.92 sample is negligible. The anomalous behavior of the electronic heat capacity near the temperature boundary of PGS was found. It is supposed that this anomaly is due to peculiarities in N(E) function where N is the density of electronic states and E is the energy of carriers of charge.Comment: 12 pages, 3 Postscript figure

Normal-state resistivity anisotropy in underdoped RBa_2Cu_3O_{6+x} crystals

We have revealed new features in the out-of-plane resistivity rho_c of heavily underdoped RBa_2Cu_3O_{6+x} (R=Tm,Lu) single crystals, which give evidence for two distinct mechanisms contributing the c-axis transport. We have observed a crossover towards "metal-like" (d rho_c/d T > 0) behavior at the temperature T_m which quickly increases with decreasing doping. The "metal-like" conductivity contribution dominates at T < T_m and provides a saturation of the resistivity anisotropy, rho_c / rho_{ab}. The antiferromagnetic ordering is found to block this "metal-like" part of the c-axis conductivity and complete decoupling of CuO_2 planes, which may be the reason of superconductivity disappearance.Comment: RevTex, 4 pages including 4 eps figures. Problem of spreading fake information in the Internet space analysis

    Get PDF
Modern Internet space is filled with various kinds of information, including unreliable, fake information. In the current socio-cultural, socio-political, and socio-economic conditions, we should expect further increase in the spread of fakes and, as a consequence, their negative impact on people’s lives. The article analyses results of a sociological study on the attitude of the Kursk region population to fakes spread in the Internet space. The empirical basis of the study is the results of the online questionnaire survey conducted in September 2022 in the Kursk region. The sample population of the study was 521 people living in the territory of Kursk and Kursk region. Fakes are becoming a real part of life in modern society. Residents of the region are constantly faced with inaccurate information. They recognize its danger and note that fakes nevertheless “attract” their attention. The current situation requires additional measures development to regulate dissemination of information in the Internet space

Нерешенные вопросы диагностики рестриктивного типа вентиляционных нарушений

The aim of this study was to determine diagnostic value of an algorithm for restrictive ventilation disorders recommended by the American Thoracic and European Respiratory Society. Methods. We analyzed pulmonary function tests of 148 patients with interstitial lung disease with increased lung elasticity and without airways obstruction. A specific type of restrictive disorders referred to as «non-classic», because it does not match existing diagnostic criteria, was observed in most patients (n = 86). The recommended diagnostic algorithm had low sensitivity (0.42) mainly due to a low informative value of spirometry (VC was within a normal range in 80% of patients with non-classic restrictive pattern).
