Study of the effect of thermo - and photosdate on the properties of cotton fabrics by vibrational spectroscopy
By IR and Raman spectroscopy we studied the influence of photo - and thermal impact on dyed cotton fabric. The possibility is shown how the identification of different dyes and to detect signs of different ways impacts on the fabric. Demonstrated that the combined use of IR and Raman spectroscopy extends the study of woven materials
Особенности разработки палеозойских отложений Томской области
peer reviewedProton magnetic resonance spectroscopic data ((1)H-MR spectroscopy) of patients with 18q deletion syndrome have not yet been reported. (1)H-MR spectroscopy, performed in an affected 2-year-old girl with markedly delayed neuromotor development and typical supratentorial white-matter disease (WMD), showed an increase of choline and alpha-glutamate concentrations. Eight months later, simultaneously with clinical improvement, alpha-glutamate had normalised whereas choline remained slightly increased. Active demyelination or increased myelin turnover might contribute to the hitherto unexplained WMD of this rare disorder
Photocatalytic degradation of diclofenac in wastewater using ironceramic composites
The photocatalytic degradation of diclofenac in model aqueous solution is investigated. The surface of composites were correlated with photocatalytic activity. Adsorption activity of the composites is related to the presence of surface active sites. The degradation under UV irradiation and photo-Fenton process using ironceramic composites is more effective than direct photolysis
The porous ceramics finds broad application as a refractory material, filters and medical materials as osteosubstaining elements (endoprostheses).
In the received material, with the developed porous structure, under loading there is a martensitic transformation from tetragonal into a monoclinic phase. It has to promote increase in fracture toughness and also reliability and durability of porous ceramics, under conditions such as low and multi-cycle fatigue
Kondo screening and exhaustion in the periodic Anderson model
We investigate the paramagnetic periodic Anderson model using the dynamical
mean-field theory in combination with the modified perturbation theory which
interpolates between the weak and strong coupling limits. For the symmetric
PAM, the ground state is always a singlet state. However, as function of the
hybridization strength, a crossover from collective to local Kondo screening is
found. Reducing the number of conduction electrons, the local Kondo singlets
remain stable. The unpaired f-electrons dominate the physics of the system. For
very low conduction electron densities, a large increase of the effective mass
of the quasiparticles is visible, which is interpreted as the approach of the
Mott-Hubbard transition.Comment: 10 pages, 8 figures, accepted by Phys. Rev.
Collective orbital excitations in orbitally ordered YVO3 and HoVO3
We study orbital excitations in the optical absorption spectra of YVO3 and
HoVO3. We focus on an orbital absorption band observed at 0.4 eV for
polarization E parallel c. This feature is only observed in the intermediate,
monoclinic phase. By comparison with the local crystal-field excitations in
VOCl and with recent theoretical predictions for the crystal-field levels we
show that this absorption band cannot be interpreted in terms of a local
crystal-field excitation. We discuss a microscopic model which attributes this
absorption band to the exchange of two orbitals on adjacent sites, i.e., to the
direct excitation of two orbitons. This model is strongly supported by the
observed dependence on polarization and temperature. Moreover, the calculated
spectral weight is in good agreement with the experimental result.Comment: 12 pages, 9 figure
