A Gorica blokkban a BAF ásványos összetételében különbözik. Itt a BAF nagymennyiségű analcimot tartalmaz a fenti ásványokon kívül és hiányzik az autigén K-földpát. Az ásványtani, geokémiai és szöveti megfontolások alapján a BAF öt kőzettípusa definiálható: albitos agyagkő (Ny-Mecseki Antiklinális), albit- és analcim-tartalmú agyagkő (Gorica blokk), albitoli (autigén albit-tartalom > 50 %; hiányzik a Goricai blokkban), „igazi aleurolit), dolomit és hömokkő közbetelepülések. Mindkét területen abszolút uralkodó kőzettípus az agyagkő. A BAF alkáli sekély vizű tavi környezetben (playa iszapsíkság, playa tó) halmozódott fel szemiarid-arid éghajlaton
„Ízesítő” a permi Bodai Agyagkő Formáció őskörnyezeti rekonstrukciójához: kősó utáni pszeudomorfózák a BAT–4 fúrás agyagkőmintáiban
A BAT–4 fúrásban a Bodai Agyagkő Formáció agyagkőmintáinak petrográfiai mikroszkópos vizsgálata során a vörös, agyagos–hematitos alapanyagban négyzet, négyágú csillag, illetve háromszög metszetű, uralkodóan pátos karbonát (kalcit vagy dolomit) egykristályokból álló kitöltéseket figyeltünk meg. Morfológiájuk alapján ezek a pszeudomorfózák korábbi kősó vázkristályok („hopper” halit, „pagoda” halit) utáni helyettesítésként értelmezhetők, amelyek az intenzív bepárlódás és a korai diagenetikus kősókiválás bizonyítékai a laza üledékben a sós iszaplapályon

Preliminary results on the Co, Sr and Cs sorption properties of the analcime-containing rock type of the Boda Siltstone Formation
Abstract
The search for nuclear waste deposits have been focusing on formations containing large amounts of clay minerals, as they potentially possess significant isolation capacity due to their radionuclide sorption ability. In this study the immobilization processes for Co, Sr and Cs ions on the recently described analcime-containing rock type of the Boda Siltstone Formation were investigated by batch sorption experiments. Our data suggest a high radionuclide immobilization capacity for this rock formation in the following order: Sr > Co > Cs. The dominant immobilization processes were found to be ion exchange and precipitation for Co and Sr, and chemisorption for Cs. The necessity of further sorption analyses on the studied rock formation is also raised
Effect of large- and small- bodied zooplankton on phytoplankton in a eutrophic oxbow
Macrozooplankton and microzooplankton effects on the phytoplankton were measured in situ in a eutrophic lake. Indigenous phytoplankton were incubated for 5 days in 301 mesocosms with either the macro- and microzooplankton (complete), microzooplankton only (micro) or no zooplankton
(none). Changes in phytoplankton biovolume were investigated. Rotifer densities became significantly
higher in the 'micro' treatment than in the 'complete' and 'none' treatments. Total algal biovolume changed little in the 'complete' and 'none' treatments, but increased significantly in the 'micro' treatment. The results suggest that macrozooplankton (Daphnia magna) suppressed it and
microzooplankton (Keratella cochlearis) enhanced it. They had opposite net effects on the phytoplankton.
Suppression of microzooplankton by Daphnia probably had an indirect negative effect on the phytoplankton
Situation Analysis of Organic Food Production with Qualitative Market Research
During past decade the general attitude of the population toward health, nutrition, quality and environment remarkably changed. Consequently ecological farming showed an upswing especially in developed countries. Due to growing demand, government subsidies and other economic advantages the cropping area increased and it will keep its pace in the near future. In Hungary the actors of economy have not fitted themselves to changed conditions. Main problem is the presence of quite a narrow domestic market resulting from a purchasing boom by western trading companies. In our survey the input, production and marketing aspects of organic farming were studied through interviewing farmers being involved into organic farming. results highlight the specific features of production in Hungary, its management relations, production structure and environment protectional considerations. As an overall goal it was set forth to identify the main limiting factors of domestic market growth, define the most marketable products and related companyforms. Producers´ opinion helped us with conducting the above process. Results of interviews were supported by our former experiences
