    Structural caracterization of potassic feldspars from pegmatites around La Cocha, Villa Praga-Las Lagunas Group, Tilisarao-Renca subgroup and Concarán subgroup, San Luis, Argentina

    Entre los 32º37’02" LS – 65º27’28" LO y 32º39’31" LS – 65º23’36" LO se encuentra un grupo de pegmatitas pertenecientes al Grupo Villa Praga-Las Lagunas, subgrupos Concarán y Tilisarao-Renca. Son pegmatitas con zonación, de mineralogía simple, compuesta por cuarzo, feldespato, albita y muscovita y signatura geoquímica LCT de clase elementos raros, subclase REL-Li, tipo Berilo. Los cristales de feldespato potásico de las zonas intermedias de las pegmatitas, son de tamaños centimétricos a métricos, pertíticos y de color gris a rosado. Se realizó la caracterización estructural de los mismos, utilizando información aportada por estudios de difractometría de rayos X (DRX). Estos datos nos permitieron calcular el índice de triclinicidad, el ordenamiento Al, Si en los sitios tetraédricos de la estructura del mineral y el índice de deformación. Los cristales de feldespato estudiados tienen una estructura altamente ordenada, característica de un enfriamiento lento, y con un índice de deformación bajo, que indica que el feldespato es levemente pertítico.Among 32º37’02 “LS -65º27’28" LO and 32º39’31 “LS-65º23’36" LO there is a group of pegmatites belonging to Villa Praga-Las Lagunas Group, Concarán and Tilisarao-Renca subgroups. These pegmatites display internal zonation and simple mineralogy consisting of quartz, feldspar, albite and muscovite. They belong to the LCT geochemical signature, Rare elements class, REL-Li subclass, Beryl type. Feldspar crystals of the intermediate zones of pegmatites have centimetric to metric sizes, they are perthitic and gray to pink coloured. Structural characterization of the crystals was performed, using information provided by XRD studies. These data allowed us to calculate the triclinicity index, location of Al, Si in the tetrahedral sites of the structure of the mineral and the strain index. Feldspar crystals are highly ordered, which implies slow cooling, and they have a low strain index that indicate the feldspar is slightly perthitic.Fil: Wul, Julieta Gisele.     Estudio comparativo de percepción sobre la virginidad en adolescentes del primer grado de secundaria de la institución educativa “Alto Salaverry” e institución educativa “ los pinos”. 2015

    Con el objetivo de determinar las diferencias de la Percepción de la virginidad en adolescentes de primer grado de secundaria de las Instituciones Educativas “ Los Pinos”- Trujillo y “Alto Salaverry”- Alto Moche año 2015; se realizó un estudio comparativo, descriptivo de corte transversal, en 116 adolescentes del primer año de secundaria que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión; para lo cual se elaboró una encuesta semi-estructurada para medir la percepción de conocimientos y actitudes sobre virginidad. Para determinar que existen diferencias significativas entre las variables se aplicó diferencias de medias; si p< 0.05 existe diferencias entre los resultados. Se encontró que si existe diferencias significativas en la percepción de conocimientos sobre virginidad en adolescentes del primer grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Los Pinos” y “Alto Salaverry” alcanzando mayor puntaje la Inst itución Educat iva “Los Pinos” con una media de 36.93 y menor puntaje la Inst itución Educativa “Alto Salaverry” con una media 33.57.Asimismo no existen diferencias significativas en la percepción de actitudes sobre la virginidad entre las Instituciones Educativas “Los Pinos” y “Alto Salaverry” alcanzando ambas el mismo puntaje una media de 27.50 y 28.87 respectivamente. Existen diferencias entre la percepción de conocimientos sobre la virginidad en los adolescentes de primer año de secundaria de las Inst ituciones Educat ivas “Los Pinos” y “Alto Salaverry”, encontrando percepción de conocimientos bueno con el 24% y 50% respectivamente, seguido de una percepción de conocimientos regular con el 76% y 50% respectivamente, no encontrándose una percepción de conocimientos deficiente. No existen diferencias entre la percepción de actitudes sobre la virginidad en los adolescentes de primer año de secundaria de las Inst ituciones Educat ivas “Los Pinos” y “Alto Salaverry”, encontrando percepción de actitudes bueno con el 19% y 16% respectivamente, seguido de una percepción de actitudes regular con el 64% y 67% respectivamente y una percepción de actitudes deficiente con el 17% respectivamente para ambas. Existen diferencias según características socioeconómicas en la percepción sobre la virginidad de los adolescentes del primer año de secundaria de las Instituciones Educativas “Los Pinos” y “Alto Salaverry” encontrando: según la edad un conocimiento regular predominando adolescentes de 11 a 13 años con el 93% y 72% respectivamente; y una actitud regular con el 92% y 67% respectivamente. Según el sexo se encontró: un conocimiento regular predominando el sexo femenino con el 52% y 62% respectivamente y actitud regular con 51% predominando las mujeres y 56% predominando los hombres respectivamente. Según la religión los católicos de la Institución Educativa “Los Pinos” predominaron con una percepción de conocimientos regular con el 50% mientras que para la Institución Educat iva “Alto Salaverry ”también predominó los católicos pero con una percepción de conocimientos buena con el 51%. Ambas Instituciones Educativas en cuanto a percepción de actitudes predomino la regular con el 43% y 49% respectivamente.With the objective of determining the differences in the perception of virginity in adolescents of first grade of secondary educational institutions " Los Pinos"- Trujillo and "Alto Salaverry"- Alto Moche 2015; conducted a comparative study, descriptive, cross-sectional study, in 116 adolescents in the first year of secondary that met the inclusion criteria; to which it developed a semi-structured survey to measure the perception of knowledge and attitudes about virginity. There are differences between the perception of knowledge on virginity in adolescents of first year of secondary educational institutions "Los Pinos" and "Alto Salaverry", finding perception of good knowledge with 24% and 50% respectively, followed by a perception of regular knowledge with the 76% and 50% respectively, not being a perception of poor knowledge. There are no differences between the perception of attitudes on virginity in adolescents of first year of secondary educational institutions "Los Pinos" and "Alto Salaverry", finding perception of good attitudes with 19% and 16% respectively, followed by a perception of regular attitudes with 64% and 67% respectively and a perception of poor attitudes with the 17% respectively for both. There are differences according to socio-economic characteristics in the perception of the virginity of adolescents in the first year of secondary educational institutions "Los Pinos" and "Alto Salaverry" finding: according to age , a regular knowledge predominating adolescents 11 to 13 years with 93% and 72% x respectively; and a regular attitude with 92% and 67% respectively. According to the gender, we found: a regular knowledge predominance of females with 52% and 62% respectively, and regular attitude with 51% predominating women and 44% predominating men respectively. According religion the Catholic of Educational Institution "Los Pinos" prevailed with a perception regular knowledge with 50% while for School "Alto Salaverry" also prevailed Catholics but with a perception of good knowledge with 51%.     Traquita La Aguadita: Nuevo exponente del magmatismo alcalino triásico en la Sierra de Valle Fértil, Sierras Pampeanas Occidentales

    La Aguadita Trachyte, in Sierra de Valle Fértil, is a new outcrop referring to the Triassic alkaline magmatism. The trachyte body was emplaced along a NNW-trending fault zone overlying the crystalline basement. The trachyte consists mainly of anorthoclase and sanidine as pheno- and microphenocrysts, with lesser amounts of arfvedsonite and ferro-eckermannite in the groundmass. It is moderately evolved in composition with 66.5-69.1 wt.% SiO2 and exhibits a limited compositional range in most of the major elements. The rare earth elements (REE) pattern is somewhat uniform and highly fractionated, being enriched in light REE over heavy REE and showing a prominent negative Eu anomaly. The trachyte is enriched in high field strength elements Nb, Zr, and Y, consistent with typical intraplate alkaline magmatism associated with continental rifting. It is proposed to be genetically linked to other alkaline volcanic rocks outcropping in the area, and generated from the same parental source (i.e., asthenospheric mantle source) through open-system fractional crystallization. ɛNd values of +2.6 are consistent with slightly crustal contamination during trachyte generation. Thus, La Aguadita Trachyte could be the result of a combination of fractional crystallization of mantle-derived basaltic magma and crustal assimilation. Radiometric age dating of 218 ± 7 Ma on the trachyte (K-Ar age, whole rock) expands the range of the alkaline volcanism known in the area to the Upper Triassic, and confirms a regional volcanic event related to uplift in an extensional tectonic environment.La Traquita La Aguadita, en la Sierra de Valle Fértil, es un nuevo afloramiento del magmatismo alcalino triásico. Se dispone sobre el basamento cristalino y su emplazamiento estuvo controlado por una falla de dirección NNO. La traquita está compuesta principalmente por feno y microfenocristales de anortoclasa y sanidina, con cantidades subordinadas de arfvedsonita y ferro-eckermannita en la mesostasis. Es moderadamente evolucionada en composición con 66,5-69,1 % de SiO2 y exhibe un rango composicional restringido para la mayoría de los elementos mayoritarios. El patrón de distribución de los elementos de tierras raras (REE) es uniforme y altamente fraccionado, con enriquecimiento de las LREE respecto de las HREE, y prominente anomalía negativa de Eu. La traquita está enriquecida en elementos de alto potencial iónico como Nb, Zr e Y, congruente con magmatismo alcalino de intraplaca asociado a rifting continental. Se propone su vinculación genética con otras rocas volcánicas alcalinas aflorantes en el área, y su generación a partir de la misma fuente primaria (manto astenosférico) mediante cristalización fraccionada. Los valores de ɛNd = +2.6 son consistentes con un cierto componente de contaminación cortical. De este modo, la Traquita La Aguadita sería resultado de la cristalización fraccionada de magma basáltico derivado del manto combinado con asimilación cortical. La edad radimétrica de 218 ± 7 Ma (K-Ar en roca total) expande el alcance del magmatismo alcalino conocido en el área hasta el Triásico superior, y confirma el carácter regional de este evento volcánico relacionado con la tectónica extensional imperante.Fil: Castro, Brigida Marta Ester. Two recent and influential books, Educating Lawyers published by the Carnegie Foundation and Best Practices in Legal Education, published by the Clinical Legal Education Association have both suggested dramatic reform of legal education. Among other reforms, these studies urge law schools to use “outcome-based” assessments, i.e., using learning objectives  and assessing knowledge and skills in standardized situations based on specific criteria, rather than simply comparing students’ performances to each other.

    FACTORES QUE INFLUYEN EN LOS CONFLICTOS LABORALES EN PROFESIONALES DE ENFERMERÍA HOSPITAL REGIONAL “HERMILIO VALDIZAN” HUÁNUCO – 2015

    Identificar los factores que influyen en los Conflictos laborales en los profesionales de enfermería del Hospital Regional “Hermilio Valdizan” - Huánuco 2015. El diseño fue relacional, transversal y prospectivo, con 93 profesionales seleccionados con el muestreo probabilístico. Se analizó mediante el alfa de Cron Bach para un nivel de confianza 0,990 apoyándonos en el SPSS 22.0. se evidenció una buena relación entre los factores internos de valores y los conflictos laborales en las dimensiones: actitud (X2= 19,42 y p=0.000), comunicación interpersonal (X2= 7,54 y p=0.006), trabajo (X2= 32,89 y p=0.000 y clima organizacional (X2= 70,13 y p=0.000). A modo global, ambas variables globales tienen una relación alta. de forma global hubo alta relación entre factores internos y externos con los conflictos laborales (X2=54,56 y Р=0,000), por lo cual se rechaza la hipótesis nula y se acepta la hipótesis de investigación, la cual indica correspondencia entre las variables

    UTILIZING CHERNOFF FACES IN MODELING RESPONSES IN THE EVALUATION OF TRIMESTER SCHEME IMPLEMENTATION

    This study uses Chernoff faces to model the responses of students, faculty, and administration staff of a teacher education institution in Manila, Philippines, to the implementation of an Outcomes-Based Teacher Education Curriculum (OBTEC) trimester scheme. Chernoff faces provide a valuable representation to model responses because people are used to studying and reacting to faces. This study used a quantitative research method by analyzing cross-sectional data from the study of the OBTEC trimester scheme. A total of 322 participants were selected through convenience sampling and given a 15-item survey in which possible responses ranged from 1 (strongly disagree) to 6 (strongly agree). The administrators were found to give a generally favorable rating (overall mean = 4.56 agree; overall SD = 0.45) to the OBTEC trimester scheme. The statements most highly rated by the administrators pertain to the success of OBTEC in integrating pedagogical content knowledge training with outcomes-based education, preparation of the students for the teaching profession, and consistency with the K to 12 curriculum. These responses are characterized by the structure of the face, the width of the mouth, and the height of the face, respectively. The most negative aspects of the OBTEC trimester scheme, according to the students, are characterized by hair height, nose width, and a hair style of thin hair that points downward. Chernoff faces were found to be a simple, yet powerful tool to model responses in the evaluation of the OBTEC trimester scheme

    SELF-EFFICACY AND COMPLEX THINKING IN HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS IN PERU

    The objective of the study was to determine the relationship and predictability between self-efficacy and complex thinking in higher education students in Peru, making comparisons by gender, in 543 students aged 18 to 25 years, from four public universities to whom the scales of Self-Efficacy (EAPESA; Palenzuela, 1983) and Complex Thinking created by CIFE (2017) were applied. The results show a moderate positive relationship and complex thinking is a predictor of self-efficacy in 17.6% of the cases observed, and there are no significant differences according to gender, and most were located at medium and high levels in both variables

    Foundation: Currently, users of dental services have different expectations about dental services and are more demanding in relation to the quality of the service. To measure the level of satisfaction of users is a complex task which requires valid and reliable instruments.Objective: to validate an instrument that allows the assessment of the level of users´ satisfaction of the Comprehensive General Dentistry service.Methods: Study of technological Innovation, in the sub-system of dental service in the Comprehensive General Dentistry Specialty. The construction of this questionnaire was done by means of expert criteria and the methodology proposed by Moriyama. Its reliability was determined by the use of text-retext method, and Spearmen coefficient was calculated. Internal consistency was analyzed by alpha coefficient of Cronbach. The content was validated by consulting a second group of experts. For the validation of this construction the method of extreme groups was used and the test of measurement comparison of independent samples was used with an confidence interval of 0,05.Results: the questionnaire was defined as unidimensional with four categories and 10 selected items. The results of the reliability test and validity were satisfactory.Conclusion: the satisfaction questionnaire in Dentistry services is an adequate instrument and with appropriate criteria for its use in the research field, so as in the practice of these services, since it allows to obtain data about users’ satisfaction.</p
