Delayed hepatic rupture post ultrasound-guided percutaneous liver biopsy: A case report.
RATIONALE: Hemorrhage, one of complications after liver biopsy, is often identified immediately after the procedure while delayed liver rupture is relatively rare.
PATIENT CONCERNS: A 45-year-old woman was diagnosed with undetermined liver cirrhosis and abnormal liver function. To determine the etiology and severity of liver cirrhosis, ultrasound-guided liver biopsy was arranged. The patients did not complain any pain during the procedure. Ultrasound examination on postoperative day1 (POD 1) and MRI on POD 3 showed no evidence of hematoma and ascites. On POD 7, however, the patient was taken to the hospital with a sudden onset of pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen.
DIAGNOSES: Contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed liver rupture of right inferior segment of the liver with subcapsular hematoma.
INTERVENTIONS: Patient was treated with infusion of 2-unit red blood cell suspension, fluid and hemostatics.
OUTCOMES: The vital signs of the patient were stabilized after the therapy. The follow-up ultrasound 1 month later showed a shrunken subcapsular hematoma measuring 4.2āĆā2.1ācm at the right lobe.
LESSONS: Whenever a liver biopsy procedure is performed, the care should be taken to avoid puncturing those areas that may have liver incisure. Moreover, the patient need to rest for several days and to avoid heavy activities, which is one of the major risk factors for post-procedure bleeding

MixedāMethods Inquiry of Socially Inclusive eāLearning: A Policy Document Analysis and Rapid Survey Study
The Covidā19 pandemic has catalyzed irreversible structural changes in education systems worldwide. One key development is the broad utility of remote digital eālearning modalities for learning and instruction that could jeopardize social inclusion if digital in(ex)clusion is left unaddressed. This study assembles a twoāstep mixed method research design and conducts a case inquiry of Shaanxi Province in China by leveraging policy document analysis and rapid survey methodology in examining how transitions to remote digital eālearning may introduce learning barriers to children from vulnerable backgrounds. Findings reveal that childrenās access to remote digital eālearning devices during the rapid transition to eālearning has a close association with their backgrounds. Key policy implications include utilizing multimodal hybrid technology in diversifying content delivery and maximizing eālearning coverage, developing open learning platforms, expanding access to eālearning resources, and collaborating with industry partners to bring tangible support to families and realize meaningful eālearning at home
The Empirical Research of Standards Economic Benefits Evaluation Based on the Value Chain
By analyzing the evaluation method and indicator system of standardization economic benefits based on relevant national standards and existing literature, we found that all exist such problems as the evaluation system is not scientific, the applicability of the evaluation method is not good enough and the evaluation content is not comprehensive. The theory of standardization economic benefits evaluation based on the value chain proposed by ISO is applied in this paper to analyze the mechanism of standardsā impact on all aspects of the value chain. This paper takes Shandong Luyang Co., Ltd., Joyoung Co., Ltd., Shandong Haoyue Resin Co., Ltd., Zibo Bona Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. as samples, empirically analyzes the economic benefits brought by standards to enterprises
Evolution properties of online user preference diversity
Detecting the evolution properties of online user preference diversity is of significance for deeply understanding online collective behaviors. In this paper, we empirically explore the evolution patterns of online user rating preference, where the preference diversity is measured by the variation coefficient of the user rating sequence. The statistical results for four real systems show that, for movies and reviews, the user rating preference would become diverse and then get centralized finally. By introducing the empirical variation coefficient, we present a Markov model, which could regenerate the evolution properties of two online systems regarding to the stable variation coefficients. In addition, we investigate the evolution of the correlation between the user ratings and the object qualities, and find that the correlation would keep increasing as the user degree increases. This work could be helpful for understanding the anchoring bias and memory effects of the online user collective behaviors
