A framework for smart production-logistics systems based on CPS and industrial IoT

Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) has received increasing attention from both academia and industry. However, several challenges including excessively long waiting time and a serious waste of energy still exist in the IIoT-based integration between production and logistics in job shops. To address these challenges, a framework depicting the mechanism and methodology of smart production-logistics systems is proposed to implement intelligent modeling of key manufacturing resources and investigate self-organizing configuration mechanisms. A data-driven model based on analytical target cascading is developed to implement the self-organizing configuration. A case study based on a Chinese engine manufacturer is presented to validate the feasibility and evaluate the performance of the proposed framework and the developed method. The results show that the manufacturing time and the energy consumption are reduced and the computing time is reasonable. This paper potentially enables manufacturers to deploy IIoT-based applications and improve the efficiency of production-logistics systems

    Direct CP violation in τ±K±ρ0(ω)ντK±π+πντ\tau^\pm\rightarrow K^\pm \rho^0 (\omega)\nu_\tau \rightarrow K^\pm \pi^+\pi^-\nu_\tau

We study the direct CP violation in the τ±K±ρ0(ω)ντK±π+πντ\tau^\pm\rightarrow K^\pm \rho^0 (\omega)\nu_\tau \rightarrow K^\pm \pi^+\pi^-\nu_\tau decay process in the Standard Model. An interesting mechanism involving the charge symmetry violating mixing between ρ0\rho^0 and ω\omega is applied to enlarge the CP asymmetry. With this mechanism, the maximum differential and localized integrated CP asymmetries can reach (5.61.7+2.9)×1012-(5.6^{+2.9}_{-1.7})\times10^{-12} and 6.33.3+2.4×10116.3^{+2.4}_{-3.3}\times 10^{-11}, respectively, which still leave plenty room for CP-violating New Physics to be discovered through this process

Constructing Ontology-Based Cancer Treatment Decision Support System with Case-Based Reasoning

Decision support is a probabilistic and quantitative method designed for modeling problems in situations with ambiguity. Computer technology can be employed to provide clinical decision support and treatment recommendations. The problem of natural language applications is that they lack formality and the interpretation is not consistent. Conversely, ontologies can capture the intended meaning and specify modeling primitives. Disease Ontology (DO) that pertains to cancer's clinical stages and their corresponding information components is utilized to improve the reasoning ability of a decision support system (DSS). The proposed DSS uses Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) to consider disease manifestations and provides physicians with treatment solutions from similar previous cases for reference. The proposed DSS supports natural language processing (NLP) queries. The DSS obtained 84.63% accuracy in disease classification with the help of the ontology

AbstractThe traffic operation performances at roundabouts are complicated under the influence of confluence operations. On the basis of the Mengxi square in Zhenjiang city roundabouts survey using video cameras, some parameter performances of different vehicle types on weaving sections and circulating lanes are analyzed, which included the velocity distribution, the gap distribution, as well as the distance distribution of lane changing. Based on the analysis, some of the conclusions are as follows: 1) The vehicle velocity of inner circulating lane is larger than the outer circulating lane 2) The entry vehicle velocity is smallest 3) The distribution of entry gaps is different from circulating gaps 4) the characteristics of vehicle teams are mostly same in different lanes 5) When the type is bigger, the lane changing distance is smaller 6) For the same type, the distance of lane changing shows ladder-like distribution. The research result will be a base for improving the capacity of roundabouts

Highland barley flour was selected as the research object and mixed with medium gluten wheat flour in this study. The correlation analysis of highland barley powders with different addition amounts on damaged starch, farino graphical properties, pasting property, solvent retention capacity were studied. The results showed that: with the increase of the proportion of highland barley flour, the damaged starch increased significantly (P<0.05), and was negatively correlated with the falling number; the water absorption of dough increased with the addition of 85%, and the maximum water absorption reached 73.10%, the water absorption and weakening degree increased significantly (P<0.05); The effect of different additions of highland barley powders on the stabilization time of the mixed powder is not significant; Peak viscosity, minimum viscosity, final viscosity, attenuation value and rebirth value decreased significantly (P<0.05), the falling number is positively correlated with peak viscosity; lactic acid SRC was significantly reduced (P<0.05), and was positive correlation with wet gluten content; sodium carbonate SRC, sucrose SRC and water SRC increased significantly (P<0.05), significant positive correlation was found between damaged starch and sodium carbonate SRC, sucrose SRC was positively correlated with water absorption and protein , and water SRC was positively correlated with protein
