Marriage Readiness Perspective Viewed from the Cultural Background of Ba'Alawi Women

The purpose of this study is to see the perception of Ba'Alawi women who do not have a partner, and whether it is important for each woman to be ready to marry who has entered a mature age for marriage according to her cultural background. This study uses descriptive research, with probability sampling technique, with the type of sampling cluster sampling. From this research, it can be concluded that Ba'Alawi women aged 18-25 years (emerging adulthood) have moderate readiness for marriage. And if we look at it more deeply, not all criteria in readiness for marriage can be judged as ready by the participants, especially those who are not ready for age, but their readiness is high when viewed from a moral point of view. Suggestions that the author can give to individuals, families, and the state are to provide briefings related to the criteria for marriage readiness. The suggestions that the authors give to further researchers are to re-detail the items on the measuring instrument so that it can be measured and evaluated for validity, expand the distribution of measuring instruments, and conduct further research related to the marriage readiness perspective
