Não Vai Doer Nada: O Conforto Psicológico e a Fidelização dos Clientes de Serviços Odontológicos

Using a qualitative approach, this paper aims at identifying the importance that patients of dental services apply to the psychological comfort when considering new purchases of this service. The results show that patients rank as high the importance of psychological comfort when considering new purchases this service, based on various factors that they reported as relevant in order to feel psychologically comfortable and, consequently, confident in their dentists.O objetivo deste artigo - de abordagem qualitativa é identificar a importância que pacientes de serviços odontológicos aplicam ao conforto psicológico ao consideraremas novas aquisições deste serviço. O resultado da pesquisa indicou que esta importância é elevada com base nos diversos fatores que os pacientes-clientes relataram como relevantes para se sentirem psicologicamente confortáveis e, por consequência, confiantes em seus dentistas

Neolignans from Licaria chrysophylla and Licaria aurea with DNA topoisomerase II-α inhibitory activity

Seven natural neolignans isolated from Licaria chrysophylla and Licaria aurea along with five semisynthetic derivatives were tested for their inhibitory action on DNA-topoisomerase by relaxation assays on pBR322 plasmid DNA. All compounds tested showed strong inhibition at a concentration of 100 µM, while none showed activity between 5 and 70 µM. These results indicate that no obvious correlation can be derived between the structure of these compounds and their inhibitory effect on the DNA relaxation activity of topoisomerase II. This is the first report on DNA topoisomerase II inhibitors from Licaria chrysophylla and Licaria aurea leading to the identification of lignoids as topoisomerase II-α inhibitors
