AbstractPresently, in our colleges and universities, video resources based on campus network are very limited and also scattered with low utilization. It becomes an important factor of restricting the development of higher education modernization. This paper presents the construction of the college video resources platform based on podcast and also introduces the design and implementation process..The platform fully takes use of the new features and communication features of the Podcast, which creates a personalized, interactive and open digital learning environment, to promote higher education informatization

Fabrication of a microresonator-fiber assembly maintaining a high-quality factor by CO2 laser welding

We demonstrate fabrication of a microtoroid resonator of a high-quality (high-Q) factor using femtosecond laser three-dimensional (3D) micromachining. A fiber taper is reliably assembled to the microtoroid using CO2 laser welding. Specifically, we achieve a high Q-factor of 2.12*10^6 in the microresonator-fiber assembly by optimizing the contact position between the fiber taper and the microtoroid.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure

Estimating the spatial correlation structure of measurement error in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to improve multivariate inference

Multi-voxel pattern analysis (MVPA) provides a powerful framework for making statistical inferences on the information present in brain activity patterns as measured by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Many recent studies suggest that MVPA performance benefits from taking into account the spatial voxel-to-voxel correlations in the measurement noise. However, estimating these noise correlations is challenging due to the limited data points and large voxel counts. To address this issue, it is common practice to shrink the empirical correlation estimate towards its identity matrix, which biases the estimate towards the incorrect assumption that voxels are independent. We therefore propose an anatomically-informed model of measurement noise in fMRI, which takes into account the distances of voxels in the measurement volume, their distance on the cortical sheet, and the depth at which they sample the cortex. Our model can predict the noise-correlation structure in new participants and datasets. It improves the noise correlation estimate when used as a shrinkage target, thereby also potentially improving statistical inferences in MVPA

Purpose: To investigate the effect of application of propofol in combination with fentanyl intravenous anesthesia in interventional surgery for aortic dissection repair, and its influence on respiratory and circulatory functions in patients. Methods: 100 patients undergoing interventional surgery for aortic dissection repair in Xiangyang No. 1 People's Hospital, Hubei University of Medicine, Xiangyang. China from  ovember 2018 to May 2020 were assigned equally to control group (CG) and study group (SG). CG received general anesthesia with propofol, while those in SG received combined intravenous general anesthesia with propofol and fentanyl. Time of anesthesia onset, postoperative awakening time, extubation time, respiratory function indicators and circulatory function indicators before operation (T0), and at intraoperative 1 h (T1), intraoperative 2 h (T2) and postoperative 2 h (T3); as well as postoperative VAS pain scores, and Ramsay sedation scores were determined and compared. Results: Compared with CG, SG had shorter anesthesia onset, shorter postoperative awakening and extubation times, and lower postoperative VAS pain and Ramsay sedation scores (p < 0.05). At T1, T2 and T3, indicators of respiratory and circulatory functions were better in SG than in CG (p > 0.05).Conclusion: Combined intravenous general anesthesia using propofol and fentanyl was more effective in interventional surgery for repair of aortic dissection, and it enhanced respiratory and circulatory functions in the patients

On-chip electro-optic tuning of a lithium niobate microresonator with integrated in-plane microelectrodes

We demonstrate electro-optic tuning of an on-chip lithium niobate microresonator with integrated in-plane microelectrodes. First two metallic microelectrodes on the substrate were formed via femtosecond laser process. Then a high-Q lithium niobate microresonator located between the microelectrodes was fabricated by femtosecond laser direct writing accompanied by focused ion beam milling. Due to the efficient structure designing, high electro-optical tuning coefficient of 3.41 pm/V was observed.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figure
