    The Absence of Love and Hopes of Shion Uzuki in the Xenosaga Trilogy

    Among video games, The Xenosaga Trilogy is widely recognized due to its complex storyline. The psychological struggle of the main character, Shion Uzuki, is one of the aspects that drives the story from the beginning up to its conclusion. Despite her seemingly bright personality, Shion has an absence of love and hopes, as she lives her life monotonously without any set goal. It later leads her to develop a strong attachment to KOS-MOS, an android. As such, in this study, we want to analyze the reasons Shion has the absence of love and hopes in the first place and the ways she struggles to recover from that absence. In order to answer these questions, we use 3 psychological theories, namely Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Transference, and Countertransference. We find out that Shion's absence of love and hopes is apparently caused by her traumatic past and her PTSD. As a unconscious response to this, Shion tries to recover by using transference. This attempt fails, but Shion is finally healed thanks to KOS-MOS' countertransference. In conclusion, Shion fully recovers from her traumatic past and PTSD because of KOS-MOS' countertransference instead of her own transference

    This article explores the causes and effects of inferiority complex in a character of a manga created by Hiromu Arakawa, Fullmetal Alchemist. Commonly seen as a child's play and underestimated by the society of literature, comic book or manga actually has the same quality as those considered as literary arts and stands equally with them. It embraces issues freely without the restriction of social rules and individual or group and uncontaminated by social, personal, or political influences. One of the issues most people think will not be in a comic book is psychology. Started from comparing himself to humans, the main antagonist, Homunculus, suffers from an inferiority complex caused by several factors such as parental attitude, physical defects, and envy. Furthermore, as the effect of suffering inferiority complex, Homunculus develops psychological defenses to ease his inferiorities: compensation and superiority complex. He tries to compensate his inferior feelings by excelling in another area and covers up the inferiorities by striving for superiority and omnipotence

    APRE merupakan alat pemotong rump ut elektrik yang menggunakan motor induksi 1 fasa sebagai motor penggeraknya. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar daya listrik dan torsi yang dihasilkan, maka perlu adanyaanalisis perhitungan daya dan torsi ketika APRE berkerja tanpa diberikan dan dengan diberikan beban secara teoritis. Pada percobaan, perhitungan dan analisis yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa untuk daya listrik APRE tanpa beban sebesar 62,65 Watt dan torsi APRE sebesar 0,45 Nm, sedangkan untuk daya listrik APRE dengan beban sebesar 103,7 Watt dan torsi APRE sebesar 1,14 Nm. Dari percobaan ini, juga dapat diketahui terdapat adanya hungan antara torsi dan daya, ketika motor diberikan beban maka akan terjadi kenaikan torsi yang juga akan berpengaruh terhadap naiknya daya listrik

Type of research conducted in the form is case studies on the evaluation and internal controls over the revenue cycle X company. This research use the descriptive research and with secondary data to the system and procedures for all sales activities of the company\u27s operation by conducting field research with corporate leadership, corporate management, and the employees as well as documentation on the company. Based on research conducted, it can be concluded that the invoices are still to be given a number manually by the staff accounting and there is none job desk separation of service advisor who doubles function as the invoice\u27s maker and also receive money from invoices sales too. Therefore, this company requires an evaluation and internal control in the earning\u27s cycle more effective and efficient in their business operation

    Pembuatan kincir angin sumbu vertikal dapat memanfaatkan potensi angin dari segala arah,sederhana dan tidak memerlukan tempat pemasangan yang begitu luas serta menghasilkan momen yang besar merupakan pertimbangan untuk mengembangkan turbin angin ini dalam kondisi angin di Indonesia . Tujuan pembuatan kincir angin sumbu vertikal ini adalah untuk mendapatkan alat dari kincir angin sumbu vertikal dan gambar dari alat tersebut. Hasil dari pembuatan kincir angin sumbu horisontal ini adalah dapat menghsilkan listrik yang bisa membatu untuk media pembelajaran pada kampus politeknik katolik saint paul sorong, adapun dengan pengukuran bahan yang di gunakan adalah taco meter dengan pengujian dilakukan selama 7 hari, setiap hari pengujian dimulai dari pukul 10.00 – 15.00 wit dengan beberapa jarak dengan menggunakan spesifikasi dari kecepatan kipas angin sebesar 220 m/menit dengan hubungan antara kecepatan dengan daya aktual dengan kecepatan yang rendah 3.29 m/s dengan daya yang dihasilkan 0.0000543 watt sedangkan untuk kecepatan 3,66 m/s yang dihasilkan daya sebesar 0,0065 watt

    Analisis ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Tinggi Jatuhnya Air (Head) Terhadap Daya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Micro Hydro Tipe Turbin Pelton. Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Tinggi Jatuhnya Air (Head) Terhadap Daya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Micro Hydro Tipe Turbin Pelton maka terlihat bahwa head actual dan debit air sangat mempengaruhi daya listrik yang dihasilkan oleh micro hydro. Semakin tinggi jatuh air (Head Actual) dan semakin banyak debit air yang keluar dari Nozzle maka semakin besar juga tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan oleh Micro Hydro. Pada head actual 6,6 meter dengan head efektik 4,4 meter menghasilkan debit air 0,000796 m3/s, daya turbin 27,499 Watt dan daya micro hydro 24,749 Watt. Sedangkan pada head actual 6 meter dengan head effektif 4 meter menghasilkan debit air 0,000777 m3/s, daya turbin 24,3849 Watt dan daya micro hydro 21,946 Watt

    Vision-based Detection of Acoustic Timed Events: a Case Study on Clarinet Note Onsets

    Acoustic events often have a visual counterpart. Knowledge of visual information can aid the understanding of complex auditory scenes, even when only a stereo mixdown is available in the audio domain, \eg identifying which musicians are playing in large musical ensembles. In this paper, we consider a vision-based approach to note onset detection. As a case study we focus on challenging, real-world clarinetist videos and carry out preliminary experiments on a 3D convolutional neural network based on multiple streams and purposely avoiding temporal pooling. We release an audiovisual dataset with 4.5 hours of clarinetist videos together with cleaned annotations which include about 36,000 onsets and the coordinates for a number of salient points and regions of interest. By performing several training trials on our dataset, we learned that the problem is challenging. We found that the CNN model is highly sensitive to the optimization algorithm and hyper-parameters, and that treating the problem as binary classification may prevent the joint optimization of precision and recall.     Logarithmic interaction under periodic boundary conditions: Closed form formulas for energy and forces

    A method is given to obtain closed form formulas for the energy and forces for an aggregate of charges interacting via a logarithmic interaction under periodic boundary conditions. The work done here is a generalization of Glasser's results [M. L. Glasser, J. Math. Phys. 15, 188 (1974)] and is obtained with a different and simpler method than that by Stremler [M. A. Stremler, J. Math. Phys. 45, 3584 (2004)]. The simplicity of the formulas derived here makes them extremely convenient in a computer simulation
