Experiment of Electrical Fire Burned Copper Wire and Parameters Analysis on Metallographic Test of Melted Mark
AbstractHeat treatment experimental simulation of the actual situation of the electrical fire melted mark was carried out; the metallograph of copper wire after heating was obtained, and verified with the actual case. And then using digital image processing software to grain size, that in a certain temperature range, the relation between average size and heated temperature was curve; particle size increases with the increase of heating time; water cooling, air cooling, furnace cooling conditions, the grain increases by followed
Effect of tangeretin on ovalbumin-provoked allergic respiratory asthma in Swiss albino mice
Purpose: To evaluate the effect of tangeretin on ovalbumin (OVA)-induced allergic respiratory asthma in Swiss albino mice. Methods: Mice were injected intraperitoneally with 50 μg OVA dissolved in water and 1 mg of aluminium hydroxide (alum) on the first day, and on day 12. On days 22, 26 and 30, the mice were exposed to 1 % OVA for 30 min. Mice in the asthma control group received saline via the same route. Tangeretin (50 or 100 mg/kg body weight) was given orally from day 1 to day 30. On the day of sensitization and challenge, tangeretin (50 or 100 mg/kg body weight) was injected 30 min prior to the treatment. Bronchial function, degree of inflammation, broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BALF), levels of IL-4, IL-5, IL-13 and IFN-γ in BALF, serum total IgE, OVA-specific IgE, IgG1 and IgG2a, as well as histopathology of lungs were determined. Results: Tangeretin administration led to significant reduction in airway sensitivity, and significant decreases in leukocyte, macrophage, and eosinophil counts (p < 0.05). It also brought about significant decreases in the levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13) in both BALF and serum (p < 0.05). In addition, tangeretin reversed the OVA-induced histopathological anomalies in the lungs. Conclusion: These results demonstrate that tangeritin exerts protective effects against OVA-induced allergic respiratory asthma in Swiss albino mice, and that the drug can potentially be developed for the management of allergic asthma. Keywords: Allergic asthma, Inflammation, Cytokines, Ovalbumin, Tangereti
Simulation and Detection of Photonic Chern Insulators in One-Dimensional Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics Lattice
We introduce a simple method to realize and detect photonic topological Chern
insulators with one-dimensional circiut quantum electrodynamics arrays. By
periodically modulating the couplings of the array, we show that this
one-dimensional model can be mapped into a two-dimensional Chern insulator
model. In addition to allowing the study of photonic Chern insulators, this
approach also provides a natural platform to realise experimentally Laughlin's
pumping argument. Based on scattering theory of topological insulators and
input-output formalism, we show that the photonic edge state can be probed
directly and the topological invariant can be detected from the winding number
of the reflection coefficient phase.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure
Valley-dependent gauge fields for ultracold atoms in square optical superlattices
We propose an experimental scheme to realize the valley-dependent gauge
fields for ultracold fermionic atoms trapped in a state-dependent square
optical lattice. Our scheme relies on two sets of Raman laser beams to engineer
the hopping between adjacent sites populated by two-component fermionic atoms.
One set of Raman beams are used to realize a staggered \pi-flux lattice, where
low energy atoms near two inequivalent Dirac points should be described by the
Dirac equation for spin-1/2 particles. Another set of laser beams with proper
Rabi frequencies are added to further modulate the atomic hopping parameters.
The hopping modulation will give rise to effective gauge potentials with
opposite signs near the two valleys, mimicking the interesting strain-induced
pseudo-gauge fields in graphene. The proposed valley-dependent gauge fields are
tunable and provide a new route to realize quantum valley Hall effects and
atomic valleytronics.Comment: 5+ pages, 2 figures; language polished, references and discussions

Relationship Among Customer Value, Satisfaction, And Loyalty of Social Network Service
Social Network Service (SNS), is an innovative application and business model in recent years. It changes the development and communication of current social network and gathers tremendous viewers to create more business opportunities. However, what are the values that attract users to use SNS? This study focuses on the behaviors of SNS users in Taiwan by empirical research. From the customer point of view, satisfaction and loyalty could be relative to and affected by utilitarian value and hedonic value. Therefore, this study builds an applicable integrated model and uses Structural Equation Modeling to analyze the relations of constructs in the model. We find the following. (1) The constructs of the model are supported. (2) The utilitarian value can be measured by factors of sociality, convenience, and information availability; hedonic value can be measured by factors of adventure, escapism, and affiliation. (3) The utilitarian value and hedonic value affect customer satisfaction; customer satisfaction affects word of mouth and repatronage intention. (4) The utilitarian value and hedonic value positively affect word of mouth and repatronage intention, but providing a good customer satisfaction can enhance word of mouth and repatronage intention. (5) The influence of hedonic value is higher than that of utilitarian value
3-(7-Methoxy-β-carbolin-1-yl)propionic acid monohydrate
In the title compound, C15H14N2O3·H2O [systematic name: 3-(7-methoxy-9H-pyrido[3,4-b]indol-1-yl)propanoic acid monohydrate], the fused rings make dhedral angles of 0.4 (1), 1.1 (2) and 1.4 (2)°. In the crystal, the water molecule is involved in the formation of three independent hydrogen-bonded chains via O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, while the carboxy group forms an intermolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond
