Research on Factors Affecting the Consumers to Use Pirated Software Based on TPB
This paper takes consumers in China as samples to research out the influential factors on their behavior of using pirated software. The result indicates that The TPB model is still popular in our country; value consciousness, novelty seeking and collectivism play important roles in influencing consumer attitudes toward software piracy. This research, which provides an in-depth understanding on Chinese consumers, can be used in designing an effective prevention strategy in China
Genetic Polymorphisms of Nine X-STR Loci in Four Population Groups from Inner Mongolia, China
Nine short tandem repeat (STR) markers on the X chromosome (DXS101, DXS6789, DXS6799, DXS6804, DXS7132, DXS7133, DXS7423, DXS8378, and HPRTB) were analyzed in four population groups (Mongol, Ewenki, Oroqen, and Daur) from Inner Mongolia, China, in order to learn about the genetic diversity, forensic suitability, and possible genetic affinities of the populations. Frequency estimates, Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, and other parameters of forensic interest were computed. The results revealed that the nine markers have a moderate degree of variability in the population groups. Most heterozygosity values for the nine loci range from 0.480 to 0.891, and there are evident differences of genetic variability among the populations. A UPGMA tree constructed on the basis of the generated data shows very low genetic distance betweent Mongol and Han (Xi’an) populations. Our results based on genetic distance analysis are consistent with the results of earlier studies based on linguistics and the immigration history and origin of these populations. The minisatellite loci on the X chromosome studied here are not only useful in showing significant genetic variation between the populations, but also are suitable for human identity testing among Inner Mongolian populations

Holographic spin alignment for vector mesons
We develop a general framework for studying the spin alignment
for flavorless vector mesons by using the gauge/gravity duality. Focusing on
the dilepton production through vector meson decay, we derive the relation
between production rates at each spin channel and meson's spectral function,
which can be evaluated by holographic models for a strongly coupled system. As
examples, we study for and mesons, induced by the
relative motion to a thermal background, within the soft-wall model. We show
that in the helicity frame for and mesons have
positive and negative deviations from 1/3 at MeV, respectively, which
consequently leads to different properties for their global spin alignments.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figure
Capacity of Hybrid Wireless Networks with Long-Range Social Contacts Behavior
Hybrid wireless network is composed of both ad hoc transmissions and cellular transmissions. Under the L-maximum-hop routing policy, flow is transmitted in the ad hoc mode if its source and destination are within L hops away; otherwise, it is transmitted in the cellular mode. Existing works study the hybrid wireless network capacity as a function of L so as to find the optimal L to maximize the network capacity. In this paper, we consider two more factors: traffic model and base station access mode. Different from existing works, which only consider the uniform traffic model, we consider a traffic model with social behavior. We study the impact of traffic model on the optimal routing policy. Moreover, we consider two different access modes: one-hop access (each node directly communicates with base station) and multi-hop access (node may access base station through multiple hops due to power constraint). We study the impact of access mode on the optimal routing policy. Our results show that: 1) the optimal L does not only depend on traffic pattern, but also the access mode; 2) one-hop access provides higher network capacity than multi-hop access at the cost of increasing transmitting power; and 3) under the one-hop access mode, network capacity grows linearly with the number of base stations; however, it does not hold with the multi-hop access mode, and the number of base stations has different effects on network capacity for different traffic models.postprin
Feasibility Study of Secondary Polymer Flooding in Henan Oilfield, China
After polymer flooding, it is necessary to find relay technology to retain oil yield. In this paper, laboratory experiments were conducted to investigate feasibility of secondary polymer flooding, in which injecting more polymer with higher concentration and relative molecular mass. It is necessary to determine enhanced recovery range and optimum concentration. With microscopic visible glass physical models, further start up of oil drops with secondary polymer can be observed distinctly. In the mean time, macroscopic heterogeneous core tests were carried out with permeability range of 2, 5 and 8. Polymer concentration effective and economical for flooding is optimized. Ii is shown that 3%~8% of further enhanced recovery and 20% decreased water cut can be obtained, and water profile can be improved to some extend after secondary polymer flooding. Thence, it is proved that secondary polymer injection after primary polymer can indeed further improve recovery and the technology of secondary flooding is feasible. Moreover, laboratory optimum concentration of 2200mg/L is determined. On the basis of laboratory results, from 2007 to 2008, filed trial with above optimum parameters were implemented. Up to 2008.12, water cut decreased from 92% to 83%, and cumulative increased crude oil of 5.71×104t.The success of secondary polymer flooding technology provides reference for the development of oil fields after primary polymer flooding in China and other regions in the whole world.Key words: secondary polymer flooding; feasibility study; microscopic mechanism; polymer concentration optimization; after polymer floodin
(1-Oxo-2,6,7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo[2.2.2]octan-4-yl)methyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate
In the title compound, C12H15O7PS, the P atom has a distorted tetrahedral environment. The P—O—C—C torsion angles deviate significantly from zero [average = 12.0 (3)°], indicating that the bicyclic OP(OCH2)3C cage is strained. In the crystal, weak C—H⋯O interactions consolidate the packing
