The Role of Neuroendocrine in Embryo Implantation

Neuroendocrine integration, an integration of the nervous system and endocrine system as its name implies, plays a critical role in the reproductive system. However, less progress has been made in the particular effects of neuroendocrine on embryo implantation. Recently, some significant knowledges have been gained on the regulation of neuroendocrine in embryo implantation. This chapter will summarize the current state of knowledges about the impaction of neuroendocrine on embryo implantation and discuss potential strategy to get higher pregnancy rate and to reduce recurrent implantation failure (RIF) possibility through modulating the neuroendocrine systems

A global wire planning scheme for Network-on-Chip.

As technology scales down, the interconnect for on-chip global communication becomes the delay bottleneck. In order to provide well-controlled global wire delay and efficient global communication, a packet switched Network-on-Chip (NoC) architecture was proposed by different authors. In this paper, the NoC system parameters constrained by the interconnections are studied. Predictions on scaled system parameters such as clock frequency, resource size, global communication bandwidth and inter-resource delay are made for future technologies. Based on these parameters, a global wire planning scheme is proposed

Test of conformal gravity with astrophysical observations

Since it can describe the rotation curves of galaxies without dark matter and can give rise to accelerated expansion, conformal gravity attracts much attention recently. As a theory of modified gravity, it is important to test conformal gravity with astrophysical observations. Here we constrain conformal gravity with SNIa and Hubble parameter data and investigate whether it suffers from an age problem with the age of APM~08279+5255. We find conformal gravity can accommodate the age of APM~08279+5255 at 3 $\sigma$ deviation, unlike most of dark energy models which suffer from an age problem.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figure
