Study on Enterprises’ Internet Public Opinion Area Hotspots Based on Social Network Analysis

    Get PDF
With the rapid development of Web 2.0, online public opinion has become an issue in the companies’ development process. With numerous user-generated contents about real-world events generated almost in real-time, monitoring, evolution and management of online public opinion play the critical role for the healthy development of enterprises. By collecting articles about public opinion on the corporate network from CNKI and using Citespace based on social network analysis, we have combed the context of current research in this area, analyzed the characteristics of the current research on this topic, excavated research rules in this field and summarized research results to provide references for further study

Bayesian Nonparametric Point Estimation Under a Conjugate Prior

    Get PDF
Estimation of a nonparametric regression function at a point is considered. The function is assumed to lie in a Sobolev space, Sq, of order q. The asymptotic squared-error performance of Bayes estimators corresponding to Gaussian priors is investigated as the sample size, n, increases. It is shown that for any such fixed prior on Sq the Bayes procedures do not attain the optimal minimax rate over balls in Sq. This result complements that in Zhao (Ann. Statist. 28 (2000) 532) for estimating the entire regression function, but the proof is rather different

Protective roles of ketamine and xylazine against lightinduced retinal degeneration in rats

Purpose: To study the protective effects of ketamine and xylazine against light exposure-induced retinal degeneration (RD) in rats. Methods: Sprague Dawley rats were divided into three groups viz: light damage before anesthesia (LAE), light damage only (LDO), and control (CON) group which was kept in the dark for 12 - 18 h to habituate before light exposure. LDO group was exposed to light before anesthesia, while LAE group was maintained under anesthesia with ketamine and xylazine. The groups were kept for 120 min in darkness after anesthesia prior to light exposure and they were awakened prior to light damage. Functional assessment was carried out using electroretinography while morphological analysis was carried out using histology and immunochemistry techniques. Results: Ketamine-xylazine combination preserved the function of the retina and protected against light-induced RD based on retinal imaging studies and immunochemistry analysis. Xylazine and ketamine anesthesia provided protection against light-induced retinal damage, and thus reduced photoreceptor cell death. Conclusion: These results indicate that xylazine and ketamine anesthesia offer protection against lightinduced damage and photoreceptor cell death in rats, and therefore, can potentially be developed for use in humans

Effect of Application of Transient Electromagnetic Method in Detection of Water-Inrushing Structures in Coal Mines

AbstractInfluenced by topographical and geological conditions, it is difficult for research of mine hydrological geophysics to rapidly and accurately detect passages inducing flooding of mines from water-accumulating abandoned mines, to detect precisely small structures causing flooding of mines. Through the study of the key technical difficult problems of the application of transient electromagnetic method(TEM) in hydrogeological exploration in coal mines, the characteristics of TEM such as sensibility to low resistivity, high transverse resolution and high speed have been sufficiently utilized. New inversion technologies have been used to improve the precision of TEM detection. During many rescues of water flooding induced by water inrush in coal mines, TEM has rapidly and accurately located water-inrushing structures in coal mines. It gains time for emergency rescue in coal mines, has significant social and economical benefits. TEM technology has become an important means for water control exploration in coal mines and has optimistic prospect of application

Lidocaine, an anesthetic drug, protects Neuro2A cells against cadmium toxicity

    Get PDF
Purpose: To investigate the neuroprotective effect of lidocaine in Neuro2A cells Methods: Differentiated N2a cells were used in this study. Cell viability and neuroprotection were assessed using dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) and trypan blue assays, while Bax/Bcl-2 expression was assayed by western blotting. Mitochondrial membrane potential, reactive oxygen species and calcium levels were measured using flow cytometry. Results: Lidocaine protected differentiated N2a cells against cadmium-induced toxicity, and also attenuated cadmium toxicity-induced changes in mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), reactive oxygen species (ROS) and calcium (Ca2+) levels. Furthermore, Bax/Bcl-2 ratio, which was disrupted by cadmium, and cadmium-induced apoptosis, were reversed by lidocaine. Conclusion: Lidocaine protects differentiated N2a cells against cadmium-induced toxicity by reversing apoptosis. Thus, lidocaine is a potential neuroprotective agent
