Type-III two Higgs doublet model plus a pseudoscalar confronted with h→μτh\rightarrow\mu\tau, muon g−2g-2 and dark matter

In this work, we introduce an extra singlet pseudoscalar into the Type-III two Higgs doublet model (2HDM) which is supposed to solve a series of problems in the modern particle-cosmology. With existence of a light pseudoscalar, the h→μτh\rightarrow\mu\tau excess measured at CMS and as well as the (g−2)μ(g-2)_{\mu} anomaly could be simultaneously explained within certain parameter spaces that can also tolerate the data on the flavor-violating processes τ→μγ\tau\rightarrow\mu\gamma and Higgs decay gained at LHC. Within the same parameter spaces, the DM relic abundance is well accounted. Moreover, the recently observed Galactic Center gamma ray excess(GCE) is proposed to realize through dark matter(DM) pair annihilations, and in this work, the scenario of the annihilation being mediated by the pseudoscalar is also addressed.Comment: 14 pages, 8 figures, version to appear in NP

Influence of peripheral refraction on myopia

    Get PDF
The refractive status of peripheral retina, also called peripheral refraction, is the abnormal refraction in the peripheral visual field which has a certain off-axis and off-fixation angle over 30°. Animal experiments and human studies suggest that the refractive status of peripheral retina has a close relationship with myopia. Peripheral relatively hyperopia diopter can influence the myopic degree. People in different ages with the refractive status of relatively hyperopic are risk factors for myopia onset, and may be one of risk factors for myopia progression. Peripheral myopic defocus might prevent axial elongation, so as to control the myopia progression, and promote the visual acuity. This article aims to summarize the recent findings about the influence of peripheral refraction on the onset, progression and control of myopia and its relationship with eye shape, accommodation, and heritability

    Optimization of ultrafine entanglement witnesses

The ultrafine entanglement witness, introduced in [F. Shahandeh, M. Ringbauer, J.C. Loredo, and T.C. Ralph, Phys. Rev. Lett. \textbf{118}, 110502 (2017)], can seamlessly and easily improve any standard entanglement witness. In this paper, by combining the constraint and the test operators, we rotate the hyperplane determined by the test operator and improve further the original ultrafine entanglement witness. In particular, we present a series of new ultrafine entanglement witnesses, which not only can detect entangled states that the original ultrafine entanglement witnesses cannot detect, but also have the merits that the original ultrafine entanglement witnesses have.Comment: 8 page

Stability analysis and evaluation of Zengziyan in Jinfo Mountain under seismic (vibration) action

    Get PDF
The dynamics analysis of dangerous rock mass simplified into improved shear-beam model is progressed based on the engineering example of Zenziyan in Jinfo Mountain, and the definite problem of seismic response on stratified rock mass is solved to obtain the maximum response rules of absolute acceleration, shear stress and relative displacement of rock strata, then the practical monitoring data are taken to make contrastive analysis of the above calculation results and verify the rationality of stability evaluation using this analytic method which can complement the quantitative calculation means of dangerous rock mass and provide reference for the similar engineering construction designs
