    Kontribusi Tingkat Pendidikan Terhadap Pendapatan Sektoral Di Kota Palembang

    Penelitian ini untuk melihat kontribusi antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pendapatan tenaga kerja sektoral di Kota Palembang. Varibel bebas berupa pendidikan, umur, jam kerja dan jenis kelamin yang dapat mempengaruhi pendapatan tenaga kerja. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan variabel pendidikan, umur, jam kerja dan jenis kelamin secara konstanta mempunyai angka signifikan dibawah 0,05. Variabel independen tersebut berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan tenaga kerja. Jenis kelamin dan jam kerja memiliki konstanta negatif sebesar (-0,014 dan - 1,721). Jenis kelamin berkonstanta negatif karena perusahaan memberikan besar kecilnya pendapatan tenaga kerja selalu berdasarkan tingat pendidikan dan tidak berdasarkan gender. Jam kerja juga memiliki konstanta negatif dikarenakan tenaga kerja pada titik tertentu akan lebih memilik istirahat bekerja atau memilih untuk melakukan kegiatan bersenang-senang dari pada menambah jam kerja

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan antara harapan dan persepsi terhadap kualitas pelayanan pada mahasiswa yang menempuh pendidikan di STIE Multidata Palembang dengan indikator yang diteliti meliputi lima dimensi pelayanan antara lain dimensi Tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance dan empathy. Penelitian ini memakai data primer yang diperoleh dengan menyebar kuisioner kepada sejumlah 246 responden. Dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan dengan tingkat signifikansi 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan masih terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara harapan dengan persepsi pada sebagian besar indikator kualitas pelayanan. Oleh karena itu Ho ditolak dan menerima Ha. Penulis menyarankan kepada manajemen STIE MDP untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan terutama pada ketersediaan buku referensi di perpustakaan, koneksi wifi, jaminan keamanan lingkungan kampus dan akreditasi institusi

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu Palembang secara parsial dan simultan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data kuisioner dan Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 100 sampel. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda, uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan uji f . Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel sehingga variabel Tangible (X1), Reliability (X2), Responsivness (X3), Assurance (X4), Emphaty (X5) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan (Y). Berdasarkan hasil uji T didapatkan hasil variabel Tangible (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan (Y). Reliability (X2), berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan (Y). Responsivness (X3), Assurance (X4) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan (Y), Emphaty (X5) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan (Y)

    This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention. Data collection techniques use a questionnaire given to 205 students from three private universities namely STIE MDP, STMIK MDP, and STIE Musi. The results of hypothesis test shows that entrepreneurship education has a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention shown by the calculated F greater than F table, so the hypothesis of the study is accepted. Entrepreneurial intention is also reinforced by the demographic variables of gender, work experience, and parent’s occupation. Entrepreneurial intention of men is higher than women. Students who have work experience also have a higher entrepreneurial intention. Students whose parents work as farmers have the most entrepreneurial intention

    A Holistic-Comprehensive Approach: Best Practices to Improve Health Policy for COVID-19 Pandemic

    The COVID-19 pandemic affects entire communities and causes a huge impact on all life aspects which include biological, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being. Health systems and health policies are promising developments and opportunities to review progress and accelerate interventions in COVID-19 control. Studies devoted to core holistic-comprehensive issues surrounding this pandemic are limited. Therefore, this article aimed to review several best practice studies that reflect holistic-comprehensive approaches to COVID-19. A comprehensive literature review was written based on 15 articles from the  data sources which are Google Scholar, Science Direct, ProQuest Health, and Medical Complete, and ProQuest Science Journals from 2010 to 2020, searched terms related to holistic, comprehensive, outbreak, pandemic, epidemics, and COVID-19. There are many evidence-based practices on safe and effective strategies to improve all aspects of well-being before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Among these promising strategies, a holistic-comprehensive approach could also be considered as a necessary action to improve health policy during the pandemic. A holistic-comprehensive approach involved providing bio-psycho-socio-spiritual care and offered a continuum of healthcare that provides promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. A holistic-comprehensive approach to the COVID-19 pandemic requires a sustained commitment from entire communities, stakeholders, and policymakers to achieve better health outcomes for all

The number of infections in Indonesia rose significantly to 8211 cases, and 689 coronavirus deaths were reported on April 24th, 2020. We knew that the Indonesian Government has made numerous strategies to control the spread of infection in our community, but implementation plans were limited in addressing the challenges of stay-at-home policy.     Holistic-comprehensive approaches to improve nutritional status of children under five years

    Background: Malnutrition has been identified as the leading cause of illness and death in almost half of children under 5 years. Hence, to prevent the impact of malnutrition on physical and psychological development, family physicians need to explore new approaches in the health care delivery models that go beyond the scope of practice. A holistic-comprehensive approach will help the physicians develop a more thorough assessment of nutritional status. This study aims to determine factors associated with the nutritional status of children under five years using holistic-comprehensive approaches.Design and Methods: A case–control design was implemented, with emphasis on the identification of cases and control groups; 48 children confirmed malnutrition cases and 48 control without malnutrition were recruited from a Community Integrated Health Center in East Java, Indonesia. The characteristics of agent, host and environment between groups were compared and analyzed using correlation coefficients, odds ratio, logistic regression analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS).Results: The SEM-PLS results showed that environmental factors have a greater influence on nutritional status (t-value >1.96), compared to the host factors. Furthermore, environmental factors having significant associations with nutritional status were poor socioeconomic status, low maternal educational level and not having exclusive breastfeeding. Also, the results of correlation coefficients and OR showed that birth weight (p=0.000, OR=33) and socioeconomic status (p=0.000, OR=22.3) had strong correlations with nutritional status. Conclusion: Holistic-comprehensive approaches can be used as new ways to determine factors that may be associated with nutritional status of children under 5 years of age

    Mental health policy: protecting community mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic

    Despite the growing interest in the treatment and management of COVID-19, communities still end up experiencing multiple stresses with mental health crisis, due to the pandemic. When this is not addressed, it causes stress in the long run, with further mental health damage in individuals and the communities. Furthermore, relevant policy related to the community mental health was identified as awareness in promoting mental issues, yet there are still failures recorded in the aspect of adequately addressing the well-being concerns. This study aims to support community mental health during the crisis, through useful information from relevant articles. It also explains some perspectives from literature reviews, case reports, with society responses from Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Proquest databases concerning recent community mental health issues, and government policy on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The inclusion criteria required articles that were peer-reviewed, by using i) English language March-September 2020; ii) Presented empirical studies related to COVID-19 (quantitative and qualitative); iii) Searched terms related to the general and community mental health, their policy, and COVID-19 pandemic. This study showed 19 articles related to community mental health issues or psychological wellbeing topics. The interventions provided to strengthen community mental health during the pandemic included emergency psychological crisis treatment, hotline assistance, online counseling service with mental care course, and outpatient consultation. Therefore, community mental health issues should be addressed with physical wellness. In addition, the community plays a key role in influencing stakeholders and governments, to increase the priority in supporting mental health

    Kualitas Yoghurt Susu Kambing PE Dengan Suplementasi Ekstrak Buah Lakum Terhadap Viskositas, Total Asam dan Total Padatan Terlarut

    This research aimed to determine viscosity, total acid, and total dissolved solid of goat milk yogurt supplemented with lakum fruit extract. This research was designed used the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor namely concentration of addition lacum fruit extract P0: 0%; P1: 0.5%; P2: 1%; P3:1.5; P4: 2%; P5: 2.5% dan P6: 3% with 3 replication. The variables observed were viscosity, total acid, and total dissolved solid. The results showed that supplementation of lakum fruit extract had a significant effect (P<0.05) on total acid value ranged between 0.88-1.44% and 0.13-0.76 dPas, but had no significant effect (P> 0.05) to total dissolved solid with a value of 15.4-21.9%. This study concludes that PE goat's milk yogurt with the addition of lakum fruit extract affected the total acid and viscosity but did not affect the total dissolved solids.
