First measurements of a scintillator based fast-ion loss detector near the ASDEX Upgrade divertor

A new reciprocating scintillator based fast-ion loss detector has been installed a few centimeters above the outer divertor of the ASDEX Upgrade tokamak and between two of its lower Edge Localized Modes (ELM) mitigation coils. The detector head containing the scintillator screen, Faraday cup, calibration lamp, and collimator systems are installed on a motorized reciprocating system that can adjust its position via remote control in between plasma discharges. Orbit simulations are used to optimize the detector geometry and velocity-space coverage. The scintillator image is transferred to the light acquisition systems outside of the vacuum via a lens relay (embedded in a 3D-printed titanium holder) and an in-vacuum image guide. A charge coupled device camera, for high velocity-space resolution, and an 8 脳 8 channel avalanche photo diode camera, for high temporal resolution (up to 2 MHz), are used as light acquisition systems. Initial results showing velocity-space of neutral beam injection prompt losses and fast-ion losses induced by a (2, 1) neoclassical tearing mode are presented.EURATOM 63305

Objective: To evaluate the usefulness of health and mental illness training through a blended postgraduate course intended for public school counselors of Boyac谩 and Cundinamarca (Colombia) aimed to the their capacity of mental illness early detection in children and teenagers at the school level. Design and measuring: A study with a Before-After design with an intervention, through a mixed quantitative and qualitative assessment with the triangulation of findings. Population and Place: The population included 256 school counselors of the Cundinamarca and Boyac谩 Provinces performing labor activities throughout the 2013 school year. Results: The research period was of 12 months, it found an adherence of 90.6% for the 120 hour postgraduate course, an improvement of 12.7 points in those weighted from the assessment of knowledge, a more appropriate referral to the health system and satisfaction in regards to the strategy which was considered successful, relevant and necessary in day-to-day activity and the needs they face at the mental health level of the school population, achieving improvements in the language and aptitude for the identification and coping with pathologies. In the discourse, there were found important limitations perceived in access to mental health services. Conclusion: The postgraduate course is useful in the knowledge acquired concerning mental health and early detection, it is focused on the three great issues that school counselors identify and that, subsequently, the ENSM-2015 highlights as of major relevance in the population (learning difficulties, emotional problems and teenage sexuality). The postgraduate course provided tools regarded as valuable for the work of school counselors in the relationship with parents and teachers, not only an improvement in knowledge was evidenced, but also a change in the language and approach to student mental health issues. Within the qualitative results, it noted the importance of early detection and the appropriate engagement of mental problems and illnesses, as well as the urgent need of accessible intersectorial care areas. Despite methodological limitations, this study evidences that the postgraduate course allows knowledge acquired to be focused on school counselors needs and it opens up an intersectorial work space necessary for good results in the school population
