    Towards an inter-domain billing system to support dynamic service provisioning

    Today, billing is a big challenge for service providers. With a growing number of rich services such as music, mobile TV, Video-on-Demand and eHealth delivered to the mass market, service providers are missing business opportunities because current billing solutions are not fully capable. In particular, the delivery of on-the-fly composite services, composed of many service components provided by different service providers causes many complexities. \ud \ud This book proposes a billing system that deals with these inter-domain complexities. Moreover, the billing system provides an interim charging mechanism that allows for monitoring and updating of customer credit balances in near real-time. The system is designed to support large-scaled transactions and can be implemented in a commercial environment. \ud \ud Since billing is an expensive business process due to its complexity and high transaction volumes service providers may decide to delegate their billing processes to third parties in order to reduce operational costs.     Electroweak phase transition in the economical 3-3-1 model

    We consider the EWPT in the economical 3-3-1 (E331) model. Our analysis shows that the EWPT in the model is a sequence of two first-order phase transitions, SU(3)SU(2)SU(3) \rightarrow SU(2) at the TeV scale and SU(2)U(1)SU(2) \rightarrow U(1) at the 100100 GeV scale. The EWPT SU(3)SU(2)SU(3) \rightarrow SU(2) is triggered by the new bosons and the exotic quarks; its strength is about 1131 - 13 if the mass ranges of these new particles are 102GeV103GeV10^2 \,\mathrm{GeV} - 10^3 \,\mathrm{GeV}. The EWPT SU(2)U(1)SU(2) \rightarrow U(1) is strengthened by only the new bosons; its strength is about 11.151 - 1.15 if the mass parts of H10H^0_1, H2±H^\pm_2 and Y±Y^\pm are in the ranges 10GeV102GeV10 \,\mathrm{GeV} - 10^2 \,\mathrm{GeV}. The contributions of H10H^0_1 and H2±H^{\pm}_2 to the strengths of both EWPTs may make them sufficiently strong to provide large deviations from thermal equilibrium and B violation necessary for baryogenesis.Comment: 17 pages, 9 figure

    CeO2 based catalysts for the treatment of propylene in motorcycle's exhaust gases

    In this work, the catalytic activities of several single metallic oxides were studied for the treatment of propylene, a component in motorcycles' exhaust gases, under oxygen deficient conditions. Amongst them, CeO2 is one of the materials that exhibit the highest activity for the oxidation of C3H6. Therefore, several mixtures of CeO2 with other oxides (SnO2, ZrO2, Co3O4) were tested to investigate the changes in catalytic activity (both propylene conversion and CO2 selectivity). Ce0.9Zr0.1O2, Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 solid solutions and the mixtures of CeO2 and Co3O4 was shown to exhibit the highest propylene conversion and CO2 selectivity. They also exhibited good activities when tested under oxygen sufficient and excess conditions and with the presence of co-existing gases (CO, H2O)

    International law and the laws of most nations today acknowledge and safeguard the intellectual property rights of both organizations and individuals. This recognition serves to stimulate innovative and creative endeavors, facilitate the dissemination of scientific, technological, cultural, and artistic advancements, foster economic and societal development, and enhance the overall quality of life. Intellectual property assumes a critical role as a driving force behind innovation and creativity, fostering the growth of a nation's intellectual assets in terms of both quantity and value. This, in turn, contributes to bolstering creative capabilities and fostering a healthy competitive environment. Nevertheless, intellectual property rights violations are not uncommon, particularly in the context of higher education institutions in Vietnam. In this article, the authors employ qualitative research methods, following the "three-step test" outlined in the Berne Convention of 1971 for the protection of literary and artistic works, in conjunction with the stipulations of Vietnamese Intellectual Property Law. The results of this examination aid in the identification and location of infringements on the author's rights, such as inappropriate citation and plagiarism within university settings. Subsequently, the authors propose various solutions, which include legal adjustments, strategies for managing intellectual property, the establishment of cross-sectoral and inter-university networks, and the regulation of the responsibilities of scientific councils. These measures are intended to mitigate instances of intellectual property rights violations within Vietnamese universities in the present day.     Miko Team: Deep Learning Approach for Legal Question Answering in ALQAC 2022

    We introduce efficient deep learning-based methods for legal document processing including Legal Document Retrieval and Legal Question Answering tasks in the Automated Legal Question Answering Competition (ALQAC 2022). In this competition, we achieve 1\textsuperscript{st} place in the first task and 3\textsuperscript{rd} place in the second task. Our method is based on the XLM-RoBERTa model that is pre-trained from a large amount of unlabeled corpus before fine-tuning to the specific tasks. The experimental results showed that our method works well in legal retrieval information tasks with limited labeled data. Besides, this method can be applied to other information retrieval tasks in low-resource languages
