THE CONSUMER TRENDS OF SECONDHAND CLOTHING IN YOUNG PEOPLE – THE CASE OF THE GENERATION Z OF VIETNAM

In recent years, secondhand clothes have become a fashion trend that is enthusiastically supported by Vietnamese youth thanks to their fashionability and environmental friendliness. A series of second-hand shops, warehouses, and consignment events have sprung up in parallel with second-hand markets that have existed for many years, still attracting many visitors. In order to examine the trend of secondhand clothing consumption among young Vietnamese, the research team conducted this study. Through the results of the study, it can be seen that the main personal factors leading to the use of secondhand clothes by the survey subjects are spending savings and personal preferences. Most of the decisions to buy secondhand clothes are influenced by the uniqueness of the product and by friends and relatives. The most enabling aspect when using secondhand clothes is the product quality and the product's design, while the aspects that are the most concerns by both users and non-users of secondhand clothes are a matter of hygiene and health

The Impact of Liquidity and Corporate Efficiency on Profitability

This study aims to investigate and determine the trend and extent of the impact of a company's liquidity and efficiency on profitability. Research data is collected on the audited financial statements of Vietnam's top 100 listed companies. Regression models (pooled OLS, FEM, and REM) and necessary tests are used to select the appropriate analysis model. Model defects are overcome by GLS regression. The research results confirm the strong, positive impact of liquidity, company efficiency, and company growth rate on profitability. In addition, the research results also demonstrate a significant negative impact between financial leverage and profitability. This article is the first study to simultaneously address the effects of liquidity and corporate efficiency on profitability. Furthermore, it is the first empirical study applying GLS regression to analyze the impact of liquidity and corporate efficiency on the top 100 listed companies in the Vietnamese market. This market provides an ideal analytical framework because of its heterogeneity in terms of its history of origin and development and its political, cultural, social, and governance characteristics. Concepts of Agri-Competitiveness in Theorical and Imperical Researchs

The purpose of this study is to analyze the competitiveness of exported agricultural products through theoretical and empirical studies, estimation methods and determinants. Not only summarizing the competitiveness theories of agricultural products exported from previous studies, the article also clarifies the concept of competitiveness of agricultural products at the level of products/services, firms/ farms, industry, thereby helping firms from agricultural countries - which rely heavily on agricultural production and agricultural products export to find the right ways to identify definitions and concepts, then choose the right methods of measurement, compare its export agricultural products competitiveness. Since, the study also proposed the use of synthetic indicators to measure the competitiveness of agricultural exports which is an important basis for the state agencies in the study and propose their export policy of agricultural products in the near future

Competencies of the Team of Department Head at Higher Education Institutions in Vietnam in The Context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0

This study aims to investigate the Competencies of the team of department head at higher education institutions in Vietnam to implement higher education development in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0. The authors conducted a Delphi study with 15 experts in educational management in Vietnam to gather their expert views on the competencies of the team of department head at higher education institutions. A total of 24 components of competency related to 4 fields (professional expertise, scientific research, subject management and leadership, social activities and international cooperation) were strongly emphasized by experts. The competence of the team of department head is proposed based on the ideas of a group of experts and the results need to be tested, completed and confirmed by follow-up work. Besides, in this study, we have not determined the level of achievement of each competence as well as developed assessment tools. The specific competencies of the team of department head can be considered as a foundation to contribute to the development of higher education in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0. We know that competence does not exist independently; in stead of, they should be considered in the specific context of teaching, university, culture and society.
