    We present the analytical expressions for the contributions of the order O(αˉ αˉs)O(\bar{\alpha}~\bar{\alpha}_s) and O(αˉ2)O(\bar{\alpha}^2) corrections to the decay width of the Standard Model Higgs boson into the bˉb\bar{b}b-pair. The numerical value of the mixed QED and QCD correction of order O(αˉ αˉs)O(\bar{\alpha}~\bar{\alpha}_s) is comparable with the previously calculated terms in the perturbative series for Γ(H0bˉb)\Gamma(H^0\to\bar{b}b).Comment: LaTeX 5 pages, accepted for publication in Pisma Zh.     Isospin Dependence of Power Corrections in Deep Inelastic Scattering

    We present results of a perturbative QCD analysis of deep inelastic measurements of both the deuteron and proton structure functions. We evaluate the theoretical uncertainty associated to nuclear effects in the deuteron, and we extract simultaneously the isospin depedendence of: i)the higher twists terms; ii) the ratio of the longitudinal to transverse cross sections; iii) the ratio of the neutron to proton structure functions. The extraction of the latter, in particular, has been at the center of an intense debate. Its accurate determination is crucial both theoretically and for the interpretation of the more precise neutrino experiments including the newly planned high intensity 50 GeV proton synchrotron.Comment: 33 pages, 16 figure

    Conceptual design studies are underway for muon colliders and other high-current muon storage rings that have the potential to become the first true ``neutrino factories''. Muon decays in long straight sections of the storage rings would produce precisely characterized beams of electron and muon type neutrinos of unprecedented intensity.     Harmonic Sums and Mellin Transforms up to two-loop Order

    A systematic study is performed on the finite harmonic sums up to level four. These sums form the general basis for the Mellin transforms of all individual functions fi(x)f_i(x) of the momentum fraction xx emerging in the quantities of massless QED and QCD up to two--loop order, as the unpolarized and polarized splitting functions, coefficient functions, and hard scattering cross sections for space and time-like momentum transfer. The finite harmonic sums are calculated explicitly in the linear representation. Algebraic relations connecting these sums are derived to obtain representations based on a reduced set of basic functions.     The effective bottom Yukawa couplings are analyzed for the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model at two-loop accuracy within SUSY-QCD. They include the resummation of the dominant corrections for large values of tg(beta). In particular the two-loop SUSY-QCD corrections to the leading SUSY-QCD and top-induced SUSY-electroweak contributions are addressed.     A measurement of alphas(Q2)alpha_s(Q^2) from the Gross-Llewellyn Smith Sum Rule

    We extract a set of values for the Gross-Llewellyn Smith sum rule at different values of 4-momentum transfer squared (Q2Q^{2}), by combining revised CCFR neutrino data with data from other neutrino deep-inelastic scattering experiments for 1<Q2<15GeV2/c21 < Q^2 < 15 GeV^2/c^2. A comparison with the order αs3\alpha^{3}_{s} theoretical predictions yields a determination of αs\alpha_{s} at the scale of the Z-boson mass of 0.114±.012.0090.114 \pm^{.009}_{.012}. This measurement provides a new and useful test of perturbative QCD at low Q2Q^2, because of the low uncertainties in the higher order calculations.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
