    Název: Fyziologická odezva závodníků lodní třídy Fireball při modelovém závodu v okruhovém jachtingu. Cíle: Cílem diplomové práce je zdokumentovat fyziologickou odezvu závodníků dvouposádkové lodní třídy Fireball, pomocí laboratorně simulované rozjížďky. Naměřené výsledky nám dále pak umožní porovnat fyzickou náročnost jednotlivých postů na lodi (kosatník/kormidelník) při různých směrech větru. Metody: Pro měření bylo využito laboratorních neinvazivních metod snímání fyziologických funkcí při simulované jachtařské rozjížďce pomocí metabolického analyzátoru a sport-testeru. Z těchto naměřených hodnot byla dále odvozena fyziologická odezva závodníků na dané zatížení. Jelikož byli měřeni závodníci dvouposádkové lodní třídy Fireball, simulace proběhla zvlášť pro činnost kosatníka a kormidelníka. Délka modelové rozjížďky byla nastavena na 24 minut, při nichž byly simulovány jednotlivé kurzy větru: křižování proti větru, boční vítr a zadní vítr. Výsledky: Z analýzy naměřených výsledků lze říci, že většina jachtařského výkonu během simulace se pohybovala v aerobním pásmu zatížení, se srdeční frekvencí průměrně okolo 111,0 tepů za minutu, spotřebou kyslíku kolem 1,2 l/min, dechovou frekvencí 28,5 dechů za minutu, minutovou expirační ventilací okolo 32,4 l/min a dechovým objemem 1,2 l, což svědčí o nižší...Title: Physiological response of competitors Fireball dinghy class in the model sailing race. Methods: The entire investigation of detecting physiological functions of competitors will be carried out noninvasively throughout the simulation of sailing using metabolic analyser tool and sport tester. From the feedback, we will obtained figures and originate the physiological response of human body to the load. Due to the investigation is being implemented on the double crew boat Fireball; both competitors (crew/helmsman) performing different tasks will be simulated and examined individually. Simulated race will last 24 minutes and competitors will have to face different wind courses, precisely cruising upwind, crosswind and tailwind.     We show that the microsporidian fungus Enterocytozoon bieneusi is associated with lower rates of weight gain in children in Uganda with persistent diarrhea. This relationship remained after controlling for HIV and concurrent cryptosporidiosis. Children with microsporidiosis were predicted to weigh 1.3 kg less than children without microsporidiosis at 5 years of age
