Investigation of reactions using polarized and unpolarized deuteron beam at Nuclotron: current status and perspectives
Deuteron induced reactions at intermediate energies are investigated at Internal Target Station (ITS) of Nuclotron. The dp elastic scattering data have been accumulated in the angular range (70◦ - 120◦) in c.m from 0.3 to 2.0 GeV of deuteron energy. Part of the obtained results of differential cross sections and analyzing powers of dp elastic scattering are compared with theoretical predictions based on relativistic multi-scattering mode
Dp breakup reaction investigation using polarized and unpolarized deuteron beam
Deuteron Spin Structure (DSS) collaboration program is aimed on few nucleon correlations investigation using unpolarized and polarized deuteron beam at intermediate energy range. Data of the dp breakup reaction have been obtained at energy range from 300 - 500 MeV of deuteron energy for various detector configurations in region where few nucleon correlations and relativistic effects can play significant rol
Measurement of the tensor Ayy and vector Ay analyzing powers of the deuteron inelastic scattering off berillium at 5.0 GeV/c and 178 mr
Tensor Ayy and vector Ay analyzing powers in the inelastic scattering of
deuterons with the momentum of 5.0 GeV/c on beryllium at an angle of 178 mr in
the vicinity of the excitation of baryonic resonances with masses up to
1.8 GeV/c^2 have been measured. The Ayy data are in a good agreement with the
previous data obtained at 4.5 and 5.5 GeV/c. The results of the experiment are
compared with the predictions of the plane wave impulse approximation and
\omega-meson exchange models.Comment: 18 pages, 9 figure
Tensor Ayy and vector Ay analyzing powers in the H(d,d')X and ^{12}C(d,d')X reactons at initial deuteron momenta of 9 GeV/c in the region of baryonic resonances excitation
The angular dependence of the tensor Ayy and vector Ay analyzing powers in
the inelastic scattering of deuterons with a momentum of 9.0 GeV/c on hydrogen
and carbon have been measured. The range of measurements corresponds to the
baryonic resonance excitation with masses 2.2--2.6 GeV/c^2. The Ayy data being
in good agreement with the previous results demonstrate an approximate
scaling up to -1.5 (GeV/c)^2. The large values of A_y show a significant role
of the spin-dependent part of the elementary amplitude of the NN->NN* reaction.
The results of the experiment are compared with model predictions of the
plane-wave impulse approximation.Comment: 7 pages, 7 figures. submitted to Yad.Fi
Stability of Heat and Energy Characteristics of Refrigerating Units as a Condition of Quality Increase of Agricultural Production Storage
This article provides information about the importance of stable thermal operating modes of refrigeration machines in the condition of changes in the thermal load on the compressor. We also consider the problem of the minimum energy consumption of refrigeration machines. These two parameters characterize the storage quality of agricultural products in refrigeration machines. It is shown that the temperature stability of the cooling chambers and the minimum energy consumption of the cooling process determine the refrigerator efficiency and, ultimately, the production cost. The article proposes continuous monitoring of the heat and energy indicators of refrigerators. These indicators are recorded and after the set period of operation, control and verification measurements of the control refrigeration machine’s heat and energy indicators are performed. The convergence or divergence of these indicators is used to evaluate the stability of the cooling chambers’ temperature regimes and the specific energy consumption. We also consider the influence of time on the performance of the compression refrigeration machine changes and methods of current technical condition diagnostics. If the deviations are insignificant, the program goes through the cycle to the beginning of monitoring and after a set period of time again automatically performs control measurements and evaluation of deviations. In the case of significant deviations, the decision-making subroutine is activated: either to operate the refrigerator further; perform its maintenance; suspend its operation; or replace it.

The p(d,p)d and p(d,p)pn reactions as a tool for the study of the short range internal structure of the deuteron
In recent time the deuteron structure at short distances is often treated
from the point of view nonnucleonic degrees of freedom. In this paper the
measurements of T-odd polarization observables using tensor polarized deuteron
beam and polarized proton target or proton polarimeter are proposed to search
the quark configurations inside the deuteron.Comment: 12 pages, 8 Postscript figures, submitted in Phys.Atom.Nuc
Diffuse Inelastic Neutron Scattering from Anharmonic Vibrations in Cuprite
Atomic vibrational dynamics in cuprite, Cu2O, was studied by inelastic
neutron scattering and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations from 10 K to 900 K.
Above 300 K, a diffuse inelastic intensity (DII) appeared, obscuring the
high-energy phonon modes. Classical MD simulations with a machine learning
interatomic potential reproduced general features of the DII, especially with a
Langevin thermostat. The DII originates from random phase shifts of vibrating
O-atoms that have anharmonic interactions with neighboring Cu-atoms
