Design Mechanism as Territorial Strategic Capability

    Get PDF
The current exigencies that a territory must faced in order to its’ optimal positioning in future regional competition requires the ability to design the appropriate mechanism which better valorize the territory capability. Such a construct is vital for territorial sustainable development and supposes the creation of a specific body of knowledge from distinctive local resource exploitation and unique value creation and allocation. Territorial mechanism design is a typical management decision about identification, ownership and control of specific strategic capabilities and their combination in a distinctive territorial portfolio. The most difficult responsibility is to allocate the territorial value added which is a source of conflict among territorial components. Our current paper research covers the basics of two complementary territorial pillars-rural and tourism potential and proves the lack of specific design mechanisms which explain the current diminishing value of Galati Braila region. The proposed management system, relying upon territorial control mechanism, will ensure knowledge sharing process via collaborative learning, with the final role of appropriate territorial attractivity signals, reinforcing identity as key factor of territorial attractability. Our paper is fully documented on there years of data analyzing from territorial area of interest. This offers us the necessary empiric contrasting for our proposed solution.territorial disruptive typicity, coordination design mechanism, sustainable development, collaborative learning, territorial change

Although the provisions of the Code of Fiscal Procedure give the image of some norms that must be observed word by word, behind the legislative text there are hidden a series of options which can be taken, or some optimal strategies. The identification of the options expressed implicitly within the Code of Fiscal Procedure, as for example the option of carrying out the procedure of assignment of a claim but also its modelling by using the theory of games and the theory of the options which are subject of this study can have as a result the reduction of arrears, the increase of collections and the elimination of other consequences of the liquidity crisis.tax administration, insolvency risk, games theory, assignment of claim, payment

Ab Initio Molecular Dynamics Simulations of Methylaluminoxane (MAO) Synthesis by Hydrolysis of Trimethylaluminum

MAO is the co-catalyst in the metallocene catalytic systems, which are widely used in single site olefin polymerization due to their high stereoselectivity. To date, the precise structure of MAO, the particular compound or compounds catalytically active in MAO, have eluded researchers. MAO, a white amorphous powder, is not a good sample for a direct spectroscopic characterization, and its NMR spectra are broad and almost featureless. Many structural models have been proposed but none are generally accepted. In the first part of this work the MAO formation mechanism was addressed. Molecular dynamics simulations at MP2 configuration interaction theory level have been carried out for elemental steps in MAO formation by trimethylaluminum hydrolysis. Methane production, in agreement with experiment, and intermediate species that are consistent with the known structural features of MAO and similar to those isolated and structurally characterized for other aluminoxanes were observed. (CH3)3Al-OH2 species, containing a stable Al-O single bond, and for whose presence there is spectroscopic evidence, emerged as the building block molecule and a cage was formed. Activation barriers for these processes were estimated. After the cage, in agreement with the multi-component nature of MAO, several distinct reaction channels were identified. It was concluded that MAO formation is a step polymerization through a bi-functional monomer, [Al(CH3)-O]is the structural unit, and a kinetic model was proposed. The emerged structures are in agreement with the crystallographic evidence for aluminoxanes, they support the experimental data regarding MAO chemical composition and explain its role in the metallocene activation, which is a failure of the previously proposed models. In the second part of this work, catalytically active MAO components were identified. In the third part, the species that were generated from the proposed mechanism were validated as suitable models for the commercial MAO structure and function by comparison of their IR and NMR parameters with experiment

LetÂŽs talk about your childhood! Measures of parental rearing, alcohol use, anxiety and depression in young adults: A cross-cultural study.

    Get PDF
There is a vast literature describing the importance of child rearing aspects as vulnerability factors predisposing to depression, anxiety and alcohol use in adulthood. Much of the research in the field uses a variety of methods and theoretical bases, making conclusions difficult to draw. Nevertheless, retrospective studies based on data from adults (either clinical or nonclinical) seem to indicate that a perception of parents as being rejecting and controlling is related to depression, anxiety and alcohol use. However, few studies have investigated the links between parenting rearing styles and alcohol use, trait anxiety and depression from a cross-cultural perspective. The present study is a cross-cultural research that aims to explore the overall findings in the parenting field by taking into consideration cultural variables and gender specific influences in the parent-child relationship. The general results support the hypothesis that parental rejection and protection are related to depression, anxiety and alcohol abuse in young adults. Additionally, the associations between parental practices and depression, anxiety and alcohol use were different for males and females. To validate these results, more cross-cultural research making use of a longitudinal design is needed

IMPROVING BANK QUALITY DIMENSIONS TO INCREASE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is twofold: 1. examine the relationship between service quality dimensions and customer satisfaction with bank territorial units; 2. establish which quality measure method out of the four considered in this study should be applied in order to better determine the areas that need further improvement and investment. In this respect, we performed Principal Component Regression (PCR) and considered direct importance and performance measures as well. Our results reveal that human resources have the greatest impact on customers’ satisfaction with bank territorial units and that both “Convenience and Efficiency” and “Bank personnel” are the dimensions that bank management should consider in their efforts to improve and maintain the service quality level. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study which tries to emphasize the relationship between service quality dimensions and Romanian customers’ satisfaction with bank territorial units. The main limit of the study lies in the fact that data were collected among the customers of a single bank. Nevertheless, it provides valuable information about the Romanian market and ought to be considered a starting point for further studies.service quality, customer satisfaction, importance and performance measures, Romanian banking sector, principal component regression.

REGIONAL COMPARATIVE APPROACHES ON POPULATION AND MAIN DEMOGRAPHIC PHENOMENA – BACAU COUNTY OF ROMANIA VERSUS THE CENTRAL REGION OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

    Get PDF
Knowing the whole population, the role and the place of each person in the reproduction of the population, in the economic and social activity, as well as the correlated analysis on age and sex groups is essential in order to ground economic and social policies. The comparative approach, considering the evolution of the population as well as the main demographic phenomena, aims to assess the demographic situation in Bacau County, Romania, as well as in the Central Region of the Republic of Moldova, over a period of 9 years (2007-2015). In order to quantify the complex demographic situation in the two territorial units for statistics, we took into consideration a relatively small number of indicators, the most relevant ones, which should underline the evolution from a demographic point of view
