Bibliometrics And "evaluation" Of Scientific Activity: A Study Of The H-index [bibliometria E "avaliação" Da Atividade Científica: Um Estudo Sobre O índice H]

Assessing scientific activity is a crucial factor for development agencies and research institutes. That is why a new bibliometric indicator has been gaining grounds in the scientific community - the h-index.
