Updating and development of educational process methodological equipment in technical university

Educational process in higher education institutions isn't possible without continuous updating and development of methodological equipment: educational literature, technical means. The ways how to solve the problems of updating and development of methodological equipment of the higher school in a modern Russian higher educational institution, in particular a technical one are represented in the article. The methodology, the pedagogical principles of drawing up manuals as the main component of an educational and methodological complex on studying the discipline "Foreign language" in the technical university was discovered. The presented manuals have been approved and introduced into educational process in the branch of the Tyumen industrial university in Surgut

The autor focuses on the chronicle Β«The Horse and His BoyΒ», built according to the pattern of The He-roβs Journey, the origins of which lay in myth. The structre of C.S. Lewisβ book establishes the characteristic elements of myth of the Hero: the birth of some infant, endowed with extraordinary value and destined to carry out some great mission, pro-phecies about his glorious exploits, the abandonment and exposure of the child hero at the time of birth in a hostile universe once, obscurity, his glorious joyrney, dangerous adventures and finally a triamph. In connection with that, in the articlae are analysed the most important characteristic features, common for Lewisβ personages and anciernt heros, described in myths. The author of the article claims that both Shsta and Aravis are heroic figures, who go out and achieve great deeds, showing how their adventure repeats an archetypal adventure of the Hero and analysing the process of the moral and spiritual growth of the mentioned personages

Accounting for variable operation conditions when optimizing cogeneration GTU and CCGT
The paper deals with a new approach to mathematical modeling and optimization of cogeneration GTU and CCGT, taking into account the variable conditions of their work, developed at the ISEM SB RAS. An analysis was carried out of the features of using this approach in relation to the thermal power plants. According to this approach at mathematical modelling of the plant there are structural optimized parameters (affecting the design of the plant), mode optimized parameters (affecting the operation of the plant in the mode with partial thermal loads) and balancing parameters affecting solution of the system of equations in the nominal mode and in modes at partial loads The connection between the design calculation (at rated loads) and verification calculations (at partial thermal loads) is carried out through the structural characteristics of the plant elements, determined during the design calculation. Taking into account these features, the problem of optimization of continuously changing parameters of cogeneration TPP was formulated, focused on the use of the developed optimization method. New mathematical models of the elements of the thermal power plants have been created. Optimization technical and economic studies of the considered plants were carried out in relation to various climatic conditions

This paper gives consideration to the methods and models of the optimal distribution of loadings among energy generating facilities, in particular the method of dynamic programming; two-step method of the optimal distribution of loadings among the energy blocks using the so-called special reference points; methods and models in which the form of the fuzzy description of the factors of the data uncertainty is based on the theory of fuzzy sets; methods and models of the excess of versions; methods and models of relative increments in the fuel flow rate and their combinations; the heuristic method of the solution of the problem of the loading distribution using the limitations of the minimum and maximum electric loadings of energy blocks; the optimization method of the projection of the Rosen gradient, etc. Advantages and drawbacks of the methods and models were shown. Advances in ITER-relevant Nb-Ti and NbSn strands and low-loss Nb-Ti strands in RF
The review of the main results of R&D directed on the enhancement of ITER relevant NbTi and NbSn strands performance recently carried out in Russia (the Bochvar Institute) are presented. For ITER PF type (NbTi) strands with Cu/non Cu ratio of 1.6 the attainment of ITER specified critical current density (Jc) β₯ 2900 A/mm2 (5 T, 4.2 K) has been shown. For Toroidal Field (TF) strands (NbSn) the influence of doping and layout peculiarities of the wires produced by bronze method on their current-carrying ability has been investigated. It was shown that with non-doped matrix and doped filaments Jc exceeds 800 A/mm2 (12 T, 4.2 K) while with the application of the doped bronze and nondoped filaments it exceeds 900 A/mm2. Internal-tin NbSn strand meeting the ITER TF specification requirements was also developed and fabricated. The results of testing of CICC samples in a SULTAN facility have shown that performance parameters are higher than ITER qualification requirements Low loss model fine filament NbTi strands, intended for operating in fields with a ramp rate from 1 up to 4 T/s, has been developed and manufactured. The use of commercial MN-5 alloy (Cu-5wt.%Ni) and the Cu- 0.5wt.%Mn alloy for matrix of strands are discussed.
