Локальная вспышка пищевого ботулизма в г. Красноярске

Botulism is a serious infectious disease that has not lost its relevance today. Due to the widespread popularity of home canning, botulism is widespread everywhere, more often recorded in the form of sporadic cases and small (local) outbreaks. The paper presents a clinical case of a severe form of food botulism with the development of bulbar disorders and respiratory disorders in one of three patients united by one epidanamnesis. The complexity of differential diagnosis of botulism and the importance of timely diagnosis is emphasized.Ботулизм — это тяжелое инфекционное заболевание, не потерявшее своей актуальности и на сегодня. В связи с широкой популярностью домашнего консервирования ботулизм распространен повсеместно, чаще регистрируется в виде спорадических случаев и небольших (локальных) вспышек. В работе представлен клинический случай тяжелой формы пищевого ботулизма с развитием бульбарных нарушений и дыхательных расстройств у одного из троих пациентов, объединенных одним эпиданамнезом. Подчеркнута сложность дифференциальной диагностики ботулизма и значимость своевременной постановки диагноза

The Relevance of Vaccination against Pneumococcal Disease to the Child Population of Krasnoyarsk

The paper presents evidence of the relevance of pneumococcal infection (PI) in children of Krasnoyarsk. The most severe form of PI is pneumococcal meningitis that characterizes by lesion of not only meninges but brain substance, extreme severity, long-term nonsmooth flow with the development of complications that threaten a patient's life. The inclusion of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine in the planned childhood immunization scheme will significantly reduce the severity of these diseases
