A Generalization of the Brodsky-Lepage Formalism

    Get PDF
We present an approach that generalizes in a natural way the perturbative QCD formalism developed by Brodsky and Lepage for the study of exclusive hadronic processes to the case of L≠0L\neq 0 mesons. As an application of our approach we consider here the production of meson pairs, involving tensor and pseudotensor mesons, in photon-photon collisions.Comment: LaTeX, 5 pages, 1 embedded ps figure, uses macros sprocl.sty, epsfig.sty. Glueball production in radiative J/psi, Upsilon decays

    Get PDF
Using a bound-state model of weakly bound gluons for glueballs made of two gluons and a natural generalization of the perturbative QCD formalism for exclusive hadronic processes, we present results for glueball production in radiative J/psi, Upsilon decays into several possible glueball states, including L \not= 0 ones. We perform a detailed phenomenological analysis, presenting results for the more favored experimental candidates and for decay angular distributions.Comment: RevTeX4, 26 pages, 11 eps figure

We here compute the reaction γ  γ→G  π0 \gamma \; \gamma \rightarrow G \; \pi^{0} for various glueball candidates G G and their assumed quantum states, using a non-relativistic gluon bound-state model for the glueball.Comment: To appear in Zeit. fur Phys.
