    Devido a carência de micronutrientes que são essenciais para a saúde, vem sendo desenvolvido no Brasil produtos biofortificados. O objetivo desse estudo foi levantar informações sobre os efeitos de quatro tipos de embalagem e do tipo de acondicionamento (com e sem vácuo), na perda de qualidade de flocão de milho biofortificado. Os resultados mostraram que em todas as embalagens avaliadas houve preservação dos carotenoides, tendo um destaque para o PETmet/PEBD com vácuo que teve uma maior retenção do teor de carotenoides pró-vitamina A e maior preservação da cor.22 a 26 de outubro de 2017

    Algebraic expansions for curvature coupled scalar field models

    A late time asymptotic perturbative analysis of curvature coupled complex scalar field models with accelerated cosmological expansion is carried out on the level of formal power series expansions. For this, algebraic analogues of the Einstein scalar field equations in Gaussian coordinates for space-time dimensions greater than two are postulated and formal solutions are constructed inductively and shown to be unique. The results obtained this way are found to be consistent with already known facts on the asymptotics of such models.     The aim of the present work is to perform an analysis of both Weibull parameters k and c for wind power generation so that one can have an idea of how the mechanisms of wind energy estimation work and build a better understanding of these parameters. This paper covers aspects from the definition of continuous random variable to the analysis of the scale (c) and shape (k) parameters themselves. Mathematical and physical analysis will be performed and finally, a comparison between the parameters and their influence on wind analysis will be presented

    A systematic procedure to study one-dimensional Schr\"odinger equation with a position-dependent effective mass (PDEM) in the kinetic energy operator is explored. The conventional free-particle problem reveals a new and interesting situation in that, in the presence of a mass background, formation of bound states is signalled. We also discuss coordinate-transformed, constant-mass Schr\"odinger equation, its matching with the PDEM form and the consequent decoupling of the ambiguity parameters.
