    Peculiarities of isotopic temperatures obtained from p+A collisions at 1 GeV

    Extrapolation of neutron-rich isotope cross-sections from projectile fragmentation

    Using the measured fragmentation cross sections produced from the 48Ca and 64Ni beams at 140 MeV per nucleon on 9Be and 181Ta targets, we find that the cross sections of unmeasured neutron rich nuclei can be extrapolated using a systematic trend involving the average binding energy. The extrapolated cross-sections will be very useful in planning experiments with neutron rich isotopes produced from projectile fragmentation. The proposed method is general and could be applied to other fragmentation systems including those used in other radioactive ion beam facilities.Comment: accepted for publication in Europhysics Letter

    Научно-исследовательская работа центральной региональной библиотеки: история становления и проблемный ряд современного периода

    The purpose of this article is to identify new trends in the research activities of regional libraries of the Russian Federation. The authors analyze in detail the documents that provide the legislative and regulatory framework for research activities of libraries. The authors emphasize that the well-defined legal status of central scientific libraries and their mandate are to support clear understanding of the concept of their research activities. Currently, the research activities are actualized in diverse formats. Library scientists have not achieved the uniform understanding of the object of these activities. Using the example of the State Universal Scientific Library of the Krasnoyarsk Kray [Territory], the content and main directions of modern scientific library practice are characterized; the number of general research patterns inherent to larger Russian libraries are revealed; and features related to regional specifics are identified. The authors suggest what the main motivations in choosing the thematic focus of library research are. At the present stage, these are: the national project “Culture” and the issues related to COVID-19 pandemic situation.Based on the analysis of various approaches to understand the research activities of libraries, the authors conclude that there is a need for comprehensive revision of content and formats of scientific activities of central regional libraries.Цель настоящей статьи заключается в выявлении новых тенденций в научно-исследовательской деятельности региональных библиотек субъектов Федерации. Авторами подробно проанализирован ряд документов, закрепивших законодательные основы научной деятельности и её регламентирующих.В статье отмечено, что для понимания сущности научно-исследовательской деяельности важным моментом является чёткое представление юридического статуса центральных научных библиотек, их полномочий в этой области. В настоящее время в библиотеках страны сложились различные формы научно-исследовательской деятельности. Среди авторов-библиотековедов нет единого понимания предмета научно-исследовательской деятельности библиотек.На примере Государственной универсальной научной библиотеки Красноярского края раскрыты содержание и основные направления современной научной библиотечной практики, выявлен ряд общих закономерностей, присущих крупным библиотекам страны, показаны особенности, связанные с региональной спецификой. Авторами статьи обозначены, по их мнению, главные мотивации в формировании тематической направленности библиотечных исследований на современном этапе – это национальный проект «Культура» и ситуация, связанная с COVID-19.Проанализировав различные подходы к осмыслению научной деятельности библиотек, авторы статьи делают вывод о необходимости комплексного пересмотра форм и содержательного наполнения научной деятельности центральных региональных библиотек

    Light Nuclides Produced in the Proton-Induced Spallation of 238U at 1 GeV

    The production of light and intermediate-mass nuclides formed in the reaction 1H+238U at 1 GeV was measured at the Fragment Separator (FRS) at GSI, Darmstadt. The experiment was performed in inverse kinematics, shooting a 1 A GeV 238U beam on a thin liquid-hydrogen target. 254 isotopes of all elements in the range from Z=7 to Z=37 were unambiguously identified, and the velocity distributions of the produced nuclides were determined with high precision. The results show that the nuclides are produced in a very asymmetric binary decay of heavy nuclei originating from the spallation of uranium. All the features of the produced nuclides merge with the characteristics of the fission products as their mass increases.Comment: 40 pages, 16 figures, 3 table

    Isospin Diffusion and Equilibration for Sn+Sn collisions at E/A=35 MeV

    Equilibration and equilibration rates have been measured by colliding Sn nuclei with different isospin asymmetries at beam energies of E/A=35 MeV. Using the yields of mirror nuclei of 7Li and 7Be, we have studied the diffusion of isospin asymmetry by combining data from asymmetric 112Sn+124Sn and 124Sn+112Sn collisions with that from symmetric 112Sn+112Sn and 124Sn+124Sn collisions. We use these measurements to probe isospin equilibration in central collisions where nucleon-nucleon collisions are strongly blocked by the Pauli exclusion principal. The results are consistent with transport theoretical calculations that predict a degree of transparency in these collisions, but inconsistent with the emission of intermediate mass fragments by a single chemically equilibrated source. Comparisons with ImQMD calculations are consistent with results obtained at higher incident energies that provide constraints on the density dependence of the symmetry energy.Comment: 13 pages, 3 figures, submitted to PRC Rapid Communication

    Isotope ratios and isoscaling of spallation products in p(1GeV) + A reactions

    An analysis of experimental yields concerning isotopically resolved spallation products from 1GeV-proton nucleus interactions with targets from Fe to Cs is presented. It was found that the yield ratios of isotopes classified by the difference of the neutron numbers are compatible with relations derived in the grand-canonical approach. The independence of isotope temperatures from the target mass was demonstrated for spallation products. The spallation residues exhibit isoscaling behaviour. The high sensitivity of the isoscaling parameters to the nucleonic composition (N/Z) of the disassembling nuclei is analysed. A unified isoscaling for a common description of similar reactions is discussed

    Federal Law No. 85-FZ of 05.04.2021 “On Amendments to the Federal Law ‘On Education in the Russian Federation’” defines the significance of educational activities. The article presents the forms of the modern process of education carried out by the commonwealth of cultural subjects, formerly called cultural and educational, including libraries.Currently, there are used technologies of traditional cultural practices, creative technologies, as well as fragments of mass culture technologies. The technological arsenal of cultural institutions in education is complemented by electronic resources and opportunities provided in the online environment. These issues affect the variety of cultural institutions, but library systems will be in the lead. Communication interaction will not only remain the proven tool of the educational process in libraries, but will also strengthen. The authors supplement this thesis with examples from the activities of libraries in the Krasnoyarsk Region. The kind of catalyst for creative processes in libraries is the activity of employees of municipal libraries in the design and implementation of justification for inclusion in prestigious large-scale modernization projects (National project “Culture” for the creation of model libraries, the Krasnoyarsk Regional network project “Libraries of the Future”).The authors identify the possible risks of intensification of this area of activity, which can be overcome by using both traditional and innovative methods of work.Федеральный закон от 05.04.2021 № 85-ФЗ «О внесении изменений в Федеральный закон “Об образовании в Российской Федерации”» определяет значение просветительской деятельности. В статье представлены формы современного процесса просвещения, осуществляемого содружеством субъектов культуры, ранее именуемых культурно-просветительными, в том числе библиотеками.В настоящее время используются технологии традиционных культурных практик, креативные технологии, а также фрагменты технологий массовой культуры. Технологический арсенал культурных институций в просветительстве дополняют электронные ресурсы и возможности, предоставляемые в онлайн-среде. Обозначенная проблематика затрагивает разнообразные культурные институции, но лидировать будут библиотечные системы. Коммуникационное взаимодействие не только останется проверенным инструментом просветительного процесса в библиотеках, но и усилится. Этот тезис дополнен примерами из деятельности библиотек Красноярского края. Своеобразным катализатором креативных процессов в библиотеках служит деятельность сотрудников муниципальных библиотек в проектировании и внедрении обоснований для включенности в престижные крупномасштабные модернизационные проекты (национальный проект «Культура» по созданию модельных библиотек, Красноярский краевой сетевой проект «Библиотеки будущего»). Обозначены возможные риски интенсификации этого направления деятельности, преодоление которых можно осуществить применением как традиционных, так и инновационных методов работы
