Micro-, Macro-, and Meta-Cosmos of Keduk Beji Ritual: Harmonising the “Un-/Living”Creatures

The process of how Javanese life worksin harmony with these three core relationships namely: human relations (microcosm), relationship with nature (macrocosm), and relationship with God (metacosm)is the main focus of this study. The people of Tawun District, Ngasreman, Ngawi, East Java,as the object of this study are likely to offer so much understanding, and indeed provide still, today, a harmonious concept of livingmanifested in the ritual ceremony of Keduk Beji (English: Beji scoop). This study then examines howthe construction of microcosm, macrocosm, and metacosm among Tawunpeople'sritual tradition of Keduk Bejiis put to work. The constructions are built upon the need for continuity and harmony in life. For the conclusion, this article's preliminary result of the three relationships is centered on the relationship of metacosm as the last objectives of mankind before dealing withthe death. Motivasi Petani dalam Mewujudkan Ketahanan Pangan Rumah Tangga Petani Padi Sawah di Desa Jatiragas Hilir, Kecamatan Patok Besi, Kabupaten Subang

Ketahanan pangan dalam rumah tangga petani adalah faktor penting dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan nasional. Petani yang tahan pangan adalah petani yang tidak menerima bantuan pemerintah dalam bentuk rastra (beras sejahtera) sebaliknya petani yang tidak tahan pangan adalah petani yang menerima bantuan pemerintah yaitu rastra. Dalam pelaksanaan USAha tani, kinerja seorang petani dipengaruhi oleh motivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi motivasi petani dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani padi sawah serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang cenderung berhubungan dengan motivasi petani dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani padi sawah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Jatiragas Hilir, Kecamatan Patok Besi, Kabupaten Subang. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara purposif terhadap 29 petani di Desa Jatiragas Hilir yang menerapkan USAha tani padi sawah. Desain penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani penerima rastra memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani padi sawah sedangkan petani bukan penerima rastra memiliki motivasi yang rendah dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani padi sawah. Faktor internal yang cenderung berhubungan antara petani penerima rastra dengan motivasinya dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani padi sawah adalah umur, pengalaman USAha tani, luas lahan garapan sedangkan faktor eksternalnya adalah ketersedian modal dan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana produksi dalam USAha tani padi sawah tersebut. Namun tidak terdapat kecenderungan berhubungan antara faktor eksternal dan internal dengan motivasi petani bukan penerima rastra dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani padi sawah

Evaluasi Pemilihan Supplier Terbaik Menggunakan Metode Taguchi Loss Functions Dan Analytical Hierarchy Process Di PT Indomaju Textindo Kudus

PT Indomaju Textindo merupakan produsen karung plastik yang menggunakan kalsium sebagai salah satu bahan bakunya. Saat ini terdapat 4 supplier kalsium, sementara masing – masing supplier memiliki performansi yang berbeda. Untuk itu Perusahaan menginginkan evaluasi terhadap masing – masing supplier. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kriteria - kriteria yang menjadi pertimbangan di dalam pemilihan supplier dan melakukan pembobotan terhadap kriteria-kriteria tersebut, menentukan nilai loss function masing – masing supplier dan yang terakhir menentukan supplier kalsium terbaik. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi supplier adalah Taguchi Loss Function dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Taguchi Loss Function digunakan untuk menghitung loss function masing-masing supplier, sedangkan AHP digunakan untuk membobotkan masing-masing kriteria. Kriteria pemilihan supplier dari penelitian ini adalah harga, kualitas, proses pengiriman dan pengepakan dengan bobot untuk masing-masing kriteria secara berturut-turut adalah 29%, 54%, 11% dan 6%. Besarnya loss function yang dibebankan pada Perusahaan akibat ketidaksesuaian terendah adalah dari supplier Indomaju, sehingga supplier ini yang, sehingga supplier yang memberikan kerugian minimum bagi Perusahaan yaitu supplier Indomaju. Kata kunci : kalsium, supplier, Taguchi Loss Function, Analytical Hierarchy Process PT Indomaju Textindo is a woven bag producer which used calcium as one of raw material in the production. In this time there are 4 calcium, whereas each of supplier have different performance, so the company want to evaluate their suppliers. Objective of this research are indentifing of criterions in supplier selection process and wight of the criterions, determining loss function value of the each suppliers and chosening the best supplier. This research used Taguchi Loss Function dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for determining the best supplier. Taguchi Loss Function for calculating loss function each of supplier, while AHP for wighting aech of criterion. Criterion of the supplier selection are price, quality, delivery process and packaging, with wight for each criterion are 29%, 54%, 11% and 6% successively. The lowest value of Loss function is owned by Indomaju supplier's, so its given minimum loss for the company

Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap Struktur Modal (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Pertambangan yang Listing di Bei Tahun 2011-2014)

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of corporate governance to corporate capital structure. Capital is very important in building and ensuring the continuity of the company. The additional capital will be required if the company is doing expantion. Accomplishment of the company's capital can raises agency problems so it's necessary to make corporate governance. Corporate governance used in this research are boards size, outside directors, institutional ownerships, managerial ownerships and remunerations. This research used annual report of mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2011-2014. The sampling method in this research is purposive sampling, the amount of samples are 71 samples. This research used multiple regression analysis data and hypothesis. Result's show that the board size and remunerations are positively and significant affected to capital structure and outside directors are negatively and significant affected to capital structure. While the other variables such as the intitutional ownerships and managerial ownerships are not significantly affected to capital structure. This research also find that the control variables which are profitability, firm size, and liquidity have significant and negative effect to capital structure

Struktur Vegetasi Kawasan Hutan Alam Dan Hutan Rerdegradasi Di Taman Nasional Tesso Nilo

Tesso Nilo forest is an area with a greater diversity of vascular plants and habitat for an endangered species, namely the Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) and the Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus). This area was not spared from encroachment and conversion to plantations and settlements. Forest clearing will cause damage to forest functions and lead to the extinction of various species of flora and fauna. The purpose of this study was to determine the consequences caused by the encroachment of the structure of forest vegetation. The method used was a survey by sampling vegetation plots in the path of the location of natural forests and forests degraded due to encroachment. The results were analyzed to determine the abundance of vegetation, an index of the importance and diversity index (Shannon-Wiener). The results showed that deforestation resulted in a change in the structure of vegetation. Encroachment degrades an abundance of vegetation, the value of diversity, and dominance type (Importance Value Index) is good for seedlings, saplings, poles and trees.
