    Analysis of Policy Impact on Requirement of Minimum Land Area of Each Housing Unit in Depok City

    This Study was conducted to determine the regulation impact on requirement of minimum land area of each housing unit in Depok City. This study used Regulatory Impact Assesment (RIA) to analyze the impact of the policyimplementation. Analytical tool used in this RIA method was CBA obtained from AHP questionnaire. Result of this study indicated that the most appropriate policy alternative to overcome problems was to repeal the policy on requirement of minimum land area for each housing unit in Depok City. For Depok City Government, it is suggested to repeal provisions in Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2013 and regional regulation draft concerning Depok City Spatial Plan of 2012-2032 regulating the requirement of minimum land area of 120 square meters for each housing unit

    Dramaturgi Pertunjukan Tari Negeri Budaya Latah Koreografer Deslenda

    Artikel dengan judul “Konsep Dramaturgi dalam Pertunjukan Tari Negeri Budaya Latah, Koreografer Deslenda” secara eksplisit merupakan usaha peneliti di dalam menjawab berbagai pertannyaan terkait bentuk karya tari yang digarap oleh Deslenda, terlihat berbeda dengan karya beberapa koreografer Sumatera Barat di masanya, sebut saja Gusmiati Suid, Boy G Sakti, Hartati, Indra Yudha, Syaiful Erman, Susas Rita Loravianti (sekadar menyebut beberapa nama).  Hal yang membedakan terletak pada kemampuan Deslenda di dalam  meletakkan unsur teaterikal  pada karya tarinya, sehingga secara visual bentuk yang diusung tidak lagi bentuk tari yang  konvensional, tetapi Deslenda berupaya untuk keluar dari zona nyaman untuk menemukan bentuk tari kontemporer yang anti mainstream. Kecenderungan unsur teaterikal di dalam karya Deslenda, apakah dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang suaminya Hardian Radjab (alm), atau justru hal tersebut lahir sebagai bentuk perenungan sehingga melahirkan bentuk dramaturgi pertunjukan tari yang estetik dan artistik.    Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang konsep galuik dalam pertunjukan Tari Negeri Budaya Latah karya Deslenda dan menganalisis tentang kencendrungan Deslenda selaku seniman sekaligus koreografer, dalam mencipta karya tari dengan menggunakan unsur teaterikal pada tari Negeri Budaya Latah. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif berpusat pada data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah Galuik sebagai konsep dramaturgi dalam proses kreatif yang dilakukan oleh Deslenda, terutama dalam penggarapan karya tari kontemporer Negeri Budaya Latah.

    Organic rankine cycle (ORC) system applications for solar energy: Recent technological advances

    © 2019 by the authors. Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) power generation systems may be used to utilize heat source with low pressure and low temperature such as solar energy. Many researchers have focused on different aspects ofORCpower generation systems, but none so far has focused on the patent landscape of ORC system applications. As such, the objective of this study is to identify published patents on ORC system applications, particularly for solar energy. Four (4) technologies were identified in ORC application for solar energy: parabolic dish, parabolic trough, solar tower, and linear Fresnel reflector. A methodical search and analysis of the patent landscape in ORC system applications for solar energy published between 2007-2018 was conducted using the Derwent Innovation patent database. From the approximately 51 million patents in the database from various countries and patent agencies, 3859 patents were initially identified to be related to ORC applications for solar energy. After further stringent selection processes, only 1100 patents were included in this review. From these 1100 patents, approximately 12% (130 patents) are associated with parabolic dishes, about 39% (428 patents) are associated with parabolic troughs, approximately 21% (237 patents) are associated with solar towers, and about 28% (305 patents) are associated with linear Fresnel reflectors. Published patents on solar tower technology are currently on an increasing trend, led by China. All of these patents were published in the past 11 years. From this study, further researches on ORC application are still ongoing, but ORC application for solar energy has the potential to advance; allowing the world to ease issues related to over-reliance on fossil fuel

    Pendampingan Penyusunan Instrumen Akreditasi Program Studi Magister Pendidikan IPA untuk Menuju Unggul

    Penyusunan instrumen akreditasi LKPS dan LED dalam rangka persiapan pengusulan re-akreditasi Program Studi Magister Pendidikan IPA Pascasarjana Unram menuju unggul perlu dipersiakan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Karena itu, dalam rangka penyusunan instrument tersebut perlu pendampingan dari pihak luar prodi guna membantu mengembangkan kedua instrument tersebut yang kemudian diikuti dengan simulasi visitasi akreditasi Proram Studi. Tujuan kegiatan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pendampingan penyusunan instrumen akreditasi dimaksud dari Gugus Penjaminan Mutu Pascasarjana Unram yang kemudian diikuti dengan simulasi visitasi akreditasi pada Proram Studi Magister Pendidikan IPA untuk memperoleh predikat unggul. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah berupa ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan workshop yang diikuti oleh 14 dosen MPIPA. Secara umum PS MPIPA Pascasarjana Universitas Mataram telah siap untuk pengusulan reakreditasi dengan telah dipersiapkannya instrumen tersebut melalui kegiatan workshop pendampingan penyusunan instrumen dimaksud. Beberapa hal penting yang telah diperoleh dalam kegiatan ini antara lain, telah tersusunnya instrumen program studi IAPS 4.0, diperolehnya strategi penyusunan LKPS dan LED yang baik, ditemukannnya pola pendampingan kepada tim penyusun LKPS dan LED, dan terdokumentasikannya bentuk simulasi visitasi terhadap dokumen yang sudah disusun untuk menentukan skor akhir yang dapat diperoleh, serta cara-cara perbaikan terhadap kekurangan yang terdapat di dalam instrumen LKPS dan LED yang disusun oleh Tim

    Detecting Tidal Flood Pattern with Landsat TM Remote Sensing Data in South Sumatra Coastal Area

    Detecting the availability of sufficient water in tidal land management is important for agriculture. Tidal flood pattern provides an information of area where has tidal flood as well as drought by time and places. The objectives of this research are 1) to study the tidal flood spatial pattern by using real time data and digital data image processing, 2) to determine a tidal flood classification based on ground water level on a specific locationand time, and 3) to study the hydrological factors affecting the flood. The tidal flood pattern can be classified within a block by their ground water fluctuation. The visual analysis with four image of different time, gives a clear differences between tidal flood pattern change and tidal fluctuation. The classification on the moist Landsat TM image after a Tesseled Cap transformation can produce classified image with similar flooded condition with the same range of ground water level. After the test, the tidalflooded pattern was found similar with the classification results. The tidal flood pattern is also recognized having a specific relationship with land use or land utilization type. The land use and land management affect the pattern. The application of geographical information system, especially remote sensing digital image data analysis, will help in determining tidal flood pattern as well as the ground water spatial pattern

    Production process and optimization of solid bioethanol from empty fruit bunches of palm oil using response surface methodology

    © 2019 by the authors. This study aimed to observe the potential of solid bioethanol as an alternative fuel with high caloric value. The solid bioethanol was produced from liquid bioethanol, which was obtained from the synthesis of oil palm empty fruit bunches (PEFBs) through the delignification process by using organosolv pretreatment and enzymatic hydrolysis. Enzymatic hydrolysis was conducted using enzyme (60 FPUg-1 of cellulose) at a variety of temperatures (35 °C, 70 °C, and 90 °C) and reaction times (2, 6, 12, 18, and 24 h) in order to obtain a high sugar yield. The highest sugars were yielded at the temperature of 90 °C for 48 h (152.51 mg/L). Furthermore, fermentation was conducted using Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The bioethanol yield after fermentation was 62.29 mg/L. Bioethanol was extracted by distillation process to obtain solid bioethanol. The solid bioethanol was produced by using stearic acid as the additive. In order to get high-quality solid bioethanol, the calorific value was optimized using the response surface methodology (RSM) model. This model provided the factor variables of bioethanol concentration (vol %), stearic acid (g), and bioethanol (mL) with a minus result error. The highest calorific value was obtained with 7 g stearic acid and 5 mL bioethanol (43.17 MJ/kg). Burning time was tested to observe the quality of the solid bioethanol. The highest calorific value resulted in the longest burning time. The solid bioethanol has a potential as solid fuel due to the significantly higher calorific value compared to the liquid bioethanol
