    Desa Gedawang Banyumanik Semarang memiliki banyak potensi. Di saat usaha melimpah mereka memanen hasil bumi akan tetapi sebagian dari mereka mendirikan usaha berbasis UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah) dari berbagai sektor. Peluang ini menciptakan masyarakat berinisiatif membangun usaha home industry. Tantangan para pengusaha home industry ini memproduksi produknya berdasarkan banyak sedikitnya pesanan. Mereka belum memanfaatkan media promosi sebagai sarana pemasaran. Beberapa alasan yang muncul diantaranya adalah karena belum dikuasainya teknologi informasi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan berkomunikasi berupa public speaking kepada warga Gedawang dalam upaya peningkatan standar mutu dan kesejahteraan UMKM mereka. Pendampingan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan public speaking dan pendampingan pelaksanaan pemasaran dengan mengandalkan keterampilan public speaking hingga mampu memasarkan secara mandiri. Pendampingan juga dilakukan dalam bentuk mencarikan relasi atau channel pemasaran agar produk-produk UMKM ini dikenal di masyarakat luas. Dari hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan ini diharapkan warga dapat melakukan presentasi, wawancara atau menyampaikan laporan yang lebih baik setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini.Gedawang Village Banyumanik Semarang has a lot of potential.     Semakin tingginya kebutuhan orang Indonesia ke luar negeri termasuk untuk pergi umrah dan haji, sedangkan dalam aturan pemerintah di sebutkan bahwa tiap-tiap orang warga negara yang akan ke luar negeri tentunya harus menjalani vaksinasi agar terhindar dan tidak terjangkit oleh virus dari negara yang akan di kunjungi, maka layanan medical check up RSI Sultan Agung saat ini mengembangkan pelayanan untuk menarik jamaah atau pasien guna melakukan layanan vaksin. Mengkomunikasikan keberadaan layanan medical check up ini tentunya menjadi hal yang sangat penting bagi keberhasilan program promosi serta keberhasilan peningkatan kualitas layanan petugas kesehatan RSI Sultan Agung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh Program Promosi melalui Status Terakreditas dan Kualitas Layanan Petugas Kesehatan terhadap Minat Beorbat Pasien di Rumah Sakit Islam Sultan AgungSemarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey, maka pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 responden Rumah Sakit Islam Sultan Agung Semarang. Kemudian analisis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS 26 dan teknik pengujian data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan analisis regresi sederhana.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengujian semua item pertanyaan dinyatakan valid. Pada uji reliabilitas semua variabel program promosi sebesar 0,896 variabel kualitas layanan sebesar 0,934 dan minat berobat sebesar 0,899. Selain itu nilai signifikasi promosi (X1) angka signifikansi 0,000 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya ada pengaruh signifikan antara program promosi terhadap minat berobat pasien.Kualitas layanan (X2) angka signifikansi 0,000 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya ada pengaruh signifikan antara program promosi terhadap minat berobat pasien. Keterbatasan penelitian yaitu penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan di Rumah Sakit dengan keterbatasan pasien yang mengunjungi Rumah Sakit, hal ini dikarenakan adanya pandemi COVID-19., dan anggota sampel yang kebanyakan adalah usia antara 48-58 tahun, diantara usia tersebut masih ada yang masih kurang paham mengenai pengisian kuesioner sehingga peneliti harus menjelaskan berulang-ulang.Kata Kunci: Kajian tentang wacana kapitalis dalam iklan anak, internasionalisasi bahasa periklanan anak, iklan anak dan etika media, iklan makanan dan minuman ditinjau dari perspektif kearifan lokal,  menghasilkan simpulan bahwa telah terjadi praktek kapitalis, internasionalisasi bahasa, pengunaan budaya dunia, dan pelanggaran etika  dalam karya kreatif   iklan. Disisi lain Periset kali ini  lebih fokus mengungkap  pandangan departemen kreatif periklanan sebagai pihak yang bertanggung jawab terhadap karya naskah iklan. Bagaimana insan departemen kreatif memahami isu-isu ideologi dunia dan pengaruhnya terhadap karya iklan. Penggalian data dilakukan secara  wawancara mendalam dengan prosedur penelitian kualitatif deskriptif model Milles dan Habermen. Penentuan informan dilaksanakan secara purposive sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Kualitas data dilakukan dengan trianggulasi sumber penelitian, dimana prosedur ini menuntut peneliti untuk mericek data penelitian yang sudah terkumpul. Trianggulasi juga dilakukan secara teori, dimana setiap statemen didukung oleh teori yang kualified. Analisis penelitian didukung oleh teori jurnalistik yang mempengaruhi isi media dan etika media. Al Quran Al Karim dimana  Nilai-nilai Islam  tentang etika media dicantumkan secara detail. Penelitian ini menghasilkan simpulan bahwa faktor internal berupa sumber daya insani sangat mempengaruhi isi dan kualitas karya insan departemen kreatif periklanan. Faktor ideologi, agama, pendidikan, kreatifitas berpengaruh dalam menuangkan monsep iklan.  Saran penelitian, penting melakukan  pemahaman pendidikan, ajaran agama, kreatifitas yang bertanggung jawab agar karya ideal insan kreatif tidak jatuh mengikuti ambisi kapitalis.Kata kunci: Kapitalisme iklan, internasionalisasi bahasa, nilai-nilai  Islam, Iklan Anak

    Patterns of Communication in the Music Community in Relationships

    This music student activity unit community of Semarang or known as ‘Kumis’, has now grown as an organization with positive goals that interest some people in joining it. This study aims to determine how communication patterns of an organization in maintaining a relationship. This study was directed to the communication patterns of the Semarang ‘Kumis’ community. This study made use of qualitative descriptive method. The technique of collecting data was conducted through participant observation supported by in-depth interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were thirteen informants. The paradigm used in this study was the constructivist one with the sociometric theory proposed by Jacob Moreno Levy and supporting theories, such as the West Turner Groupthink theory and Group Cohesiveness as main theories. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that in maintaining relationship, the communication patterns used by the Semarang Kumis community are categorized as horizontal or literal communication patterns. The relationship maintained is akind of relationship which forms solidarity among its members through the use of information and communication technology, such as Whatsapp social media platform. Also, frequent meetings or face-to-face gatherings among members allow them to maintain open communication as to minimize communication misunderstandings and cohesiveness in the Semarang Kumis community which keep cooperation and solidarity well. The number of respondents, who was only 13 informants, is certainly not able to describe the real situation since the object of this study only focused on communication patterns. Therefore, it is expected that the results of the study can be used as an example or reference in gaining information for further studies in the same field with different research object, regarding with a community’s communication patterns in maintaining relationship

    Anak penderita gangguan jiwa pasca rehabilitasi seringkali ditolak oleh keluarga untuk kembali ke rumah dan di dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat tidak diakui keberadaannya. Hal ini karena stigma masyarakat yang masih menganggap anak penderita gangguan jiwa pasca rehabilitasi sebagai anak yang memiliki gangguan sehingga tidak mudah bagi orang tua untuk melakukan komunikasi bahkan enggan menerima kembali anak tersebut. Berdasarkan fenomena di atas penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman komunikasi orang tua dengan anak yang mengalami gangguan jiwa pasca rehabilitasi di Kabupaten Semarang. Paradigma yang digunakan adalah paradigma konstruktivis dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik wawancara mendalam yang didukung dengan observasi dan studi pustaka. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga informan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Pertukaran Kasih Sayang dan Teori Pertimbangan Sosial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengalaman komunikasi orang tua dengan anak penderita gangguan jiwa pasca rehabilitasi unik dan dinamik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah informan I memiliki pengalaman komunikasi dengan cara komunikasi non-verbal, informan II sang anak yang dapat berbicara seperti sebelum mengalami gangguan jiwa namun mengalami penurunan kualitas komunikasi, serta anak dari informan III cara berkomunikasinya adalah dalam tindakan. Dalam penilaian sosial atau stigma negatif yang melekat di dalam masyarakat terhadap anak penderita gangguan jiwa pasca rehabiltasi dikatakan hilang atau tidak berlaku jika sang anak mampu berbaur, kembali bersosialisasi ke dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini hanya mewawancarai orang tua yang memiliki anak penderita gangguan jiwa pasca rehabilitasi tanpa mewawancarai anak maupun masyarakat sekitar. This phenomenon can be caused by the social stigma which assumes mental disorder children who had post-rehabilitation still have mental disorder so it is not easy for their parents to communicate. They even do not want to accept their children come back. Based on the phenomenon above, the research aims to find out the communication experience among parent and children with mental disorder who had post rehabilitation in Semarang Regency. This research was conducted through constructivist paradigm with descriptive qualitative research method and phenomenology approach. The techniques of data collection were in-depth interview technique supported with observation and literature reviews. The subjects in this research were three informants. The study employed two theories, i.e. Affection Exchange and Social Judgement. The study concludes that communication experience of parents and children with mental disorder who had post rehabilitation is unique and dynamic. The results of this research were informant I had communication experience using non-verbal communication, informant II had a communication experience with the child who could speak as before he got mental disorder, but the communication quality has decreased, and informant III had the communication experience using acts. The social assessment or negative stigma which exist in society through children with mental disorder who had post rehabilitation is not valid if the children could interact and socialize throughout social life. The research is only limited to interview the parents who have children with mental disorder who had post rehabilitation and has no interview neither their children nor the society. Salah satu upaya menanggulangi dampak buruk tersebut adalah dengan literasi digital. Berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh, di Kelurahan Gedawang tepatnya wilayah RW 2 sebagai Kampung KB belum mendapatkan informasi tentang literasi digital, sehingga kegiatan ini perlu dilakukan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi. Secara umum kegiatan ini membangkitkan kesadaran betapa pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak-anak dalam pemanfaatan media digital. Disinilah para orang tua perlu memahami nilai utama dunia digital yang menyetir kehidupan kita saat ini. Ada tiga nilai penting: kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan berpikir kritis.     Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer group support in therapeutic community to motivation resident for rehabilitationMethods:  The research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. Sampling technique using total sampling with the number of respondents 80 residence.  Data collecting technique in this study is to distribute questionnares to respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses Wilcoxon signed rank test.Results:  The results of pre-test study 57,5% had low motivation and 27,5% had a moderate motivation, and after getting the intervention in getting resident who has a high motivation to increase to 70%.  Conclusion:  Peer group support in the implementation of the therapeutic community resident have a significant effect on motivation for rehabilitation

The research subjects were two patients post Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) surgery with the following inclusive criteria: man, age between 40 and 60, can communicate well, has good hearing, and willing to sign an informed consent. This research was carried out at Ibnu Rusyd room, Muhammadiyah Hospital, Palembang, on 20-26 April 2022. The data collecting was done through observation and interview. The data analysis was done by comparing the theories and data found on the patients.Results:   The results of the research were obtained from the two respondents with pain complaints; before the treatment of Benson relaxation, the pain was medium (4-6), and after Benson relaxation, the pain was light (1-3). Benson relaxation has been proven to be able to reduce the intensity of acute pain on patients post Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) surgery.Conclusion:  Benson relaxation recommended to be implemented as a treatment of acute pain problems on patients post Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) surger

Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan sosialisasi komunikasi efektif dengan bahasa santun di media online dengan pendekatan religi di Kelurahan Gedawang Kecamatan Banyumanik Kota Semarang. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan melalui kolaborasi dengan program kemitraan. Dipilih dua mitra yang aktif yaitu Majelis Taklim dan Kampung KB RW 2 yang mampu mengkoordinasikan warga masyarakat dan peduli pada kesejahteraan baik fisik maupun psikis. Hasil dari program pengabdian ini sangat diharapkan mampu membuka wawasan pada masyarakat terutama warga peserta majelis taklim Gedawang Banyumanik dalam berkomunikasi di dunia maya dan memahami beragam konten di media sosial sehingga mereka dapat lebih dewasa dan bijaksana dalam menyikapi hal tersebut. The variety of social media content that develops in society must be understood wisely. Therefore, it is necessary to socialize effective communication with polite language on online media with a religious approach in Gedawang, Banyumanik District, Semarang. Socialization is carried out in collaboration with a partnership program.
