The Behavior of the Slope of Elastic Nucleon Scattering at Small Transfer Momenta and Recent Ua4 Data
Theoretical predictions for the behavior of the slope of the nucleon-nucleon
scattering and another parameters of the differential cross sections in the
framework of the dynamic model are compared with the recent UA4 data at small
transfer momenta and at the centre-of-mass energy of 541 GeV. The predictions

Second virial coefficients of light nuclear clusters and their chemical freeze-out in nuclear collisions
Here we develop a new strategy to analyze the chemical freeze-out of light
(anti)nuclei produced in high energy collisions of heavy atomic nuclei within
an advanced version of the hadron resonance gas model. It is based on two
different, but complementary approaches to model the hard-core repulsion
between the light nuclei and hadrons. The first approach is based on an
approximate treatment of the equivalent hard-core radius of a roomy nuclear
cluster and pions, while the second approach is rigorously derived here using a
self-consistent treatment of classical excluded volumes of light (anti)nuclei
and hadrons. By construction, in a hadronic medium dominated by pions, both
approaches should give the same results. Employing this strategy to the
analysis of hadronic and light (anti)nuclei multiplicities measured by ALICE at
TeV and by STAR at GeV, we got rid
of the existing ambiguity in the description of light (anti)nuclei data and
determined the chemical freeze-out parameters of nuclei with high accuracy and
confidence. At ALICE energy the nuclei are frozen prior to the hadrons at the
temperature MeV, while at STAR energy there is a
single freeze-out of hadrons and nuclei at the temperature
MeV. We argue that the found chemical freeze-out volumes of nuclei can be
considered as the volumes of quark-gluon bags that produce the nuclei at the
moment of hadronization.Comment: 15 pages, 4 figures, 3 table
Hadron calorimeter with MAPD readout in the NA61/SHINE experiment
The modular hadron calorimeter with micro-pixel avalanche photodiodes readout
for the NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN SPS is presented. The calorimeter
consists of 44 independent modules with lead-scintillator sandwich structure.
The light from the scintillator tiles is captured by and transported with
WLS-fibers embedded in scintillator grooves. The construction provides a
longitudinal segmentation of the module in 10 sections with independent MAPD
readout. MAPDs with pixel density of /mm ensure good linearity of
calorimeter response in a wide dynamical range. The performance of the
calorimeter prototype in a beam test is reported
Electromagnetic response of the three-layer construction on the basis of barium hexaferrite and a foam glass
This paper contains results of study of the frequency dependence of reflection coefficient of the ceramic surface coated with the construction consisting of following layers: metal, composite on the basis of ferrite with hexagonal structure, and foam glass. It is shown that foam glass layer reduces significantly the reflecting characteristics of the construction
Dibaryons from Exceptional Collections
We discuss aspects of the dictionary between brane configurations in del
Pezzo geometries and dibaryons in the dual superconformal quiver gauge
theories. The basis of fractional branes defining the quiver theory at the
singularity has a K-theoretic dual exceptional collection of bundles which can
be used to read off the spectrum of dibaryons in the weakly curved dual
geometry. Our prescription identifies the R-charge R and all baryonic U(1)
charges Q_I with divisors in the del Pezzo surface without any Weyl group
ambiguity. As one application of the correspondence, we identify the cubic
anomaly tr R Q_I Q_J as an intersection product for dibaryon charges in large-N
superconformal gauge theories. Examples can be given for all del Pezzo surfaces
using three- and four-block exceptional collections. Markov-type equations
