Structure and magnetic properties of FeNi/Ti sputtered multilayers
The microstructure, anisotropic magnetoresistance, magnetic properties and magnetic domain structure of sputtered FeNi films and [Ti/FeNi]n (n = 2-16) multilayers were comparatively analyzed. It was found that although the grain size increases with an increase of the FeNi thickness both in the case of FeNi films and [Ti/FeNi]n multilayers, it did not exceed 25 nm. The values of anisotropic magnetoresistance for FeNi films and [Ti/FeNi]n multilayers were close to each other showing a weak dependence on the total thickness of the multilayered structure. Coercivity for multilayers was found to be smaller than the coercivity of single layer FeNi films. Despite the absence of a direct exchange interaction between FeNi neighboring layers in the [Ti/FeNi]n structures, their domain structures were found to be quite different from magnetic domains in single layer films due to stray field compensation in the multilayers. Obtained results are useful for the development of sensitive elements for small magnetic field detectors and planar inductors. © 2013 Owned by the authors, published by EDP Sciences
Epidemiological situation on tuberculosis among the children and teenage population 159 (review of literature)
Tuberculosis is nowadays one of the most actual problems of world public health, service. According to the data of WHO, one third of world's population is infected, with tuberculosis microbacteria. Every year 2-3 millions of people die because of tuberculosis. During last years in Russia tuberculosis morbidity increased 2,3 times, mortality - 1,9 times and prevalence - 4 %. Aggravation of epidemiological situation on tuberculosis is characterized by increase of morbidity among all age groups and especially among the children. In Irkutsk region epidemiological situation on tuberculosis is still intensive. Main reasons of unsatisfactory indices of tuberculosis in Irkutsk region are: presence of significant reservoir of tuberculosis infection among the population. of the region; significant level of prevalence of HIV-infection; unsatisfactory material and technical base of antituberculous institutions of the region; personnel deficiency in antituberculous institutions; insufficient level of preventive measures in foci of tuberculosis infection; absence of modern, medical informational system in antituberculous institutions of the region. To optimize the situation at the development of antituberculous measures it is necessary to take into account regional peculiarities of epidemic situation, to realize control and. organization of an aid. for children from the foci of tuberculosis infection and. to carry out controlled chemical prophylaxis in sanatorium conditions
Heart rate variability in university students engaged in competitive sports at the beginning of a training season
Objective: to study heart rate variability in university students engaged in competitive sports at the beginning of a training season. Materials and Methods: the study summarizes the results of 141 participants. The study group consisted of 61 athletes (22.7±1.3 years), 31 men (22.3±1.3 years) and 30 women (23.1±2.1 years). The control group included 80 students not involved in sports (23.6±1.5 years), 34 men (23.7±1.5 years) and 46 women (23.6±1.5 years). Heart rate variability was assessed by a cardiointervalogramm registration in the background recording of rest for 5 minutes, as well as during an active orthostatic test. A spectral analysis of heart rate wave structure included registration HF, LF, VLF-components, LF/HF ration, and the total power of all waves – TP; complex indices were determined, namely the index of vegetative balance (AMO/SD index) and C30:15 coefficient. Results: we found higher level total spectrum power, parasympathetic activity and reactivity regulation in the study group. We revealed higher spectral indices, as well as C30:15 during active orthostatic tests in the group of athletes. HRV indices of male athletes are higher, both at rest and in orthostasis. HRV indices of female athletes significantly differed only in orthostasis, demonstrating a higher level of regulation. Conclusions: at the beginning of a training season, we found high level of regulatory indices in the functional state of competitive athletes, both male and female. A variety of significant differences in HRV in the studied groups can be used for a dynamic monitoring of changes in regulatory processes during the training cycle
Effect of additions of zinc stearate on the properties of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets
Zinc stearate additions have been used to increase the remanence of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets produced by the powder metallurgy without powder pressing. Zinc stearate acts as an internal lubricant, i.e., it decreases the friction forces between the particles and favors an increase in the degree of texture of the powders, which is induced by the magnetic field. It is shown that the density and the magnetic hysteresis characteristics of sintered magnets produced using additions of 0.15 wt % zinc stearate exceeds the corresponding values obtained for magnets produced without this addition at a filling density of powders in containers of more than 2.9 and 3.0 g/cm3 in dry and wet states, respectively. Using additions of zinc stearate in the amount of 0.15% with respect to the weight of the powder, magnets with a density of 7.55 g/cm3, B r = 14.02 kG, H c = 7.91 kOe, and (BH)max = 46.1 MG Oe have been produced. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd
Micromagnetic modelling of stripe domains in thin films with a columnar microstructure
A micromagnetic model of thin films with columnar microstructure in the form of a matrix with reduced magnetic properties and embedded columns with high aspect ratio is presented. Such microstructure is typical for some films based on rare-earth and 3d transition metal alloys, in particular for La-Co films, that were chosen as an object for our modelling. Described structural features promote an effective perpendicular magnetic anisotropy that for thick enough films leads to formation of the stripe domain pattern. Our work addresses to the problem of finding equilibrium characteristics of stripe domains for the case of infinite columnar films. Herein it is shown how width of stripe domains, remanent magnetization and energies depend on number of replicas of periodic boundary conditions and the size of modelling volume. Equilibrium values of listed quantities can be found by extrapolating obtained dependencies. © 2021 Author(s).This work was supported by Russian Science Foundation, project No. 19-72-00141
Optical AR coatings of the Mid-IR band for ZnGeP2 single crystals based on ZnS and oxide aluminum
In this work, the parameters of antireflection interference coatings based on alternating layers of ZnS/Al2O3 on the laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) of ZGP crystals under the action of Ho:YAG laser radiation at a wavelength of 2.097 μm were determined. The coating deposition was carried out using the ion-beam sputtering method. The LIDT of the sample with a coating based on alternating layers ZnS and Al2O3 was equal to WEo = 3.45 J/cm2, and the LIDT of the uncoated sample was equal to WEo = 2.23 J/cm2. An increase in the optical breakdown threshold by ~55% was observed after the deposition of an AR coating based on ZnS and Al2O3 materials. An assumption was made about the absence of local fluctuations in the composition and mechanical stresses in the case of the coated sample, namely that this leads to good adhesion of the multilayer coating to the polished surface of the crystal, and as a result to an increase in the optical breakdown threshold as compared to the uncoated sample due to closure of the dangling chemical bonds and bulk defects emerging on the polished surface
Paradoxical embolism with the development of ischemic stroke on the background of pulmonary embolism: comparative analysis of two clinical cases
The development of a neurological deficit clinic in patients with pulmonary embolism (PE) requires a diagnostic search aimed at excluding the phenomenon of paradoxical embolism in the form of transcranial dopplerography (TCDG) with a bubble test, and to clarify the features of intracardiac hemodynamics – transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Material and methods. The article presents two clinical examples of the development of PE in the form of embolic ischemic stroke (IS) against the background of deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities, PE, patent foramen ovale (PFO) in combination with an atrial septal aneurysm. Results and discussion. In the first case, the right-left shunt was confirmed by TKDG with a bubble test, in the second example, during routine transthoracic echocardiography, a ribbon thrombus prolapsing through the PFO was visualized. In our opinion, PE is a possible mechanism of IS in patients with venous thromboembolic events. Consequently, it is necessary to plan a “bubble test” for verifying the cause of a stroke. Conclusions. The management of patients with PE and IS was individual and required a team approach, including the use of thrombolytic therapy, the selection of an anticoagulant therapy regimen, choice of conservative/invasive tactics for the treatment of patients
Volitional self-regulation and emotional burnout of professional sambo-athletes who suffered from sports injuries
Objective: to study the level of volitional self-regulation and emotional burnout in male sambo-athletes who underwent sports injuries of various degrees of severity. Materials and methods: 60 male sambo-athletes were examined. They were divided into 3 groups of 20 people in each group based on types of sports injuries. Results: significantly (p=0.001) lower level of volitional self-regulation was found in the third group who underwent more injuries (total scale: Q1=6,0; Me=8,0; Q3=10,0; «perseverance»: Q1=5,0; Me=5,5; Q3=8,0; «self-control»: Q1=4,0; Me=4,5; Q3=5,0). More pronounced emotional burnout occured in athletes who had more injuries (Q1=64,5; Me=69,0; Q3=71,0; p=0,001). Inadequate emotional response and emotional and moral disorientation was leveled down with aggravation of the severity of injuries (Q1=25,0; Me=44,0; Q3=61,0; p=0,039). Adaptation systems strain is manifested by a marked emotional exhaustion and decrease in volitional self-regulation with an increase in the number of injuries. Conclusions: if incidence and severity of injuries increases in sambo-athletes the level of volitional self-regulation reduces and emotional burnout occurs, which is characterized by the stress of the system of psychological adaptation
Magnetic properties of soft magnetic cobalt-based alloy heat treated in presence of indium vapors
The effect of the indium presence on the magnetic properties of soft magnetic cobalt-based alloy during heat treatment (HT) was studied. It was shown that changes in magnetic characteristics were largely due to the impact mechanism of HT. The presence of indium vapors during HT increased the maximum magnetic permeability and changed magneto-optical hysteresis loops
SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS HEALTH OF THE SMALLER ETHNIC GROUPS LIVING IN SIBERIA (BY EXAMPLE OF TOFALARS PEOPLE)
This article is devoted to analysis of pathologic affect of child's and adolescent's population, living on the Tofalariya territory, as well as socio-economic factors influencing the health of the native population in the study area according to a sociological study. In a study conducted a thorough medical examination of children living in Tofalaria. And also a sample case study of families was conducted. The article examines a set of negative socio-economic factors, typical to the territory of Tofalars habitation (one parent family, factors of poor housing, low family income, low levels of parental education, nutritional imbalances). We can identify the low availability of health care for this population group in combination with their low medical activity. The self-assessment of health among the population of Tofalariya is overstated, probably due to the significantly low level of information awareness about the prevention of disease and methods of solution these problems
