Noether theorem and first integrals of constrained Lagrangean systems

summary:The dynamics of singular Lagrangean systems is described by a distribution the rank of which is greater than one and may be non-constant. Consequently, these systems possess two kinds of conserved functions, namely, functions which are constant along extremals (constants of the motion), and functions which are constant on integral manifolds of the corresponding distribution (first integrals). It is known that with the help of the (First) Noether theorem one gets constants of the motion. In this paper it is shown that every constant of the motion obtained from the Noether theorem is a first integral; thus, Noether theorem can be used for an effective integration of the corresponding distribution

Geometric mechanics on nonholonomic submanifolds

summary:In this survey article, nonholonomic mechanics is presented as a part of geometric mechanics. We follow a geometric setting where the constraint manifold is a submanifold in a jet bundle, and a nonholonomic system is modelled as an exterior differential system on the constraint manifold. The approach admits to apply coordinate independent methods, and is not limited to Lagrangian systems under linear constraints. The new methods apply to general (possibly nonconservative) mechanical systems subject to general (possibly nonlinear) nonholonomic constraints, and admit a straightforward generalization to higher order mechanics and field theory. In particular, we are concerned with the following topics: the geometry of nonholonomic constraints, equations of motion of nonholonomic systems on constraint manifolds and their geometric meaning, a nonholonomic variational principle, symmetries, a nonholonomic Noether theorem, regularity, and nonholonomic Hamilton equations

Functional genomic and pharmacogenomic analysis of metabolic syndrome aspects

Metabolický syndrom je prevalentní onemocnění, charakterizované současnou manifestací inzulínové rezistence, obezity, dyslipidémie, hypertenze a metabolických poruch. Jeho výsledný fenotyp závisí jak na genetických faktorech, tak na faktorech vnějšího prostředí a jejich vzájemných interakcích. Z toho vyplývá komplikovanost detailní analýzy genetické komponenty tohoto syndromu v obecné lidské populaci. Geneticky definované savčí modely jsou významným nástrojem pro analýzu genetické architektury lidských komplexních onemocnění, mezi která se řadí i metabolický syndrom. Cílem této dizertační práce je využití nástrojů funkční a komparativní genomiky k odhalení patogeneze aspektů metabolického syndromu a jeho genetických determinant. Rovněž jsme se zabývali farmakogenetickými interakcemi těchto genetických determinant s látkami ovlivňujícími jednotlivé složky metabolického syndromu. S použitím několika kongenních kmenů laboratorního potkana jsme řešili čtyři různé projekty, zabývající se: farmakogenetickou interakcí kyseliny all-trans retinové a ondansetronu s diferenciálním segmentem chromozomu 8 u potkana, farmakogenetickou interakcí diferenciálního segmentu chromozomu 4 a dexametazonu a stanovením role genu Plzf při vývoji hypertenze, hypertrofie levé komory srdeční (LVH) a intersticiální fibrózy....Metabolic syndrome is a prevalent disease characterized by concurrent manifestation of insulin resistance, obesity, dyslipidemia, hypertension and other hemodynamic and metabolic disorders. It has multifactorial type of inheritance and its resultant phenotype is determined by both environmental and genetic factors as well as their interactions. That is the main reason why comprehensive analysis of the genetic component of this syndrome is complicated in human population. Genetically designed experimental animal models are significant tools for analysis of genetic architecture of human complex conditions including the metabolic syndrome. The aim of this Thesis is utilization of functional and comparative genomic tools to uncover pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome aspects and their genetic determinants. We also studied pharmacogenetic interactions of these genetic determinants with drugs affecting particular components of the metabolic syndrome. DEVELOPMENT OF A PASSENGER CAR DOOR TRIM PANEL WITH BETTER RECYCLING CHARACTERISTICS

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou recyklace stávající dveřní výplně u osobního automobilu. Dále řeší výrobu textilního kompozitu s novým typem tkaniny, který bude vhodnější z pohledu recyklovatelnosti dílu. Experimentální část zkoumá, hodnotí a porovnává navrhnutou textilii s textilií, která se již na dveřních výplních používá. Dále ověřuje, zda navrhnutá textilie vyhovuje požadavkům normy pro dveřní výplně. Analyzuje, zda nově vyrobený díl je lépe recyklovatelný.This thesis deals with recycling of current passenger car door panels. It also deals with designing a new textile material for car door panels, which would be better recyclable.The experimental part examines, evaluates and compares the suggested fabric with the fabric which is already currently used for door panels. It verifies that the designed fabric meets the requirements for door panels and analyzes, whether it is better recyclable

Anxiety and estrangement in Juan Carlos Onetti's works

Úzkost a odcizení v díle Juana Carlose Onettiho Klíčová slova: Onetti, Jáma, novela, Eladio Linacero, úzkost, odcizení, samota, sny, Tizón Tato práce se soustředí na literární pojetí světa postav v Onettiho tvorbě. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na frustraci, samotu a odcizení, pocity, které tvoří ústřední složku autorových próz. Jako výchozí dílo slouží prvotina Jáma, která je jádrem Onettiho budoucí tvorby a inspirací pro následující generace prozaiků. Autor v ní rozbíjí literární konvence své doby. Dílo je útržkovité, vedené skrytými asociacemi. Objevuje se zde postava městského antihrdiny, který od nehostinné reality utíká do fantazijního života. Protagonistu Jámy uvádí práce do souvislosti s dalšími Onettiho postavami. Po stylistické stránce si všímá propojení obsahové a formální stránky děl. Stejné motivy jako v Jámě zaznamenává práce i v Tizónově románu Krásy světa. Odlišné a zároveň v určitých komponentech podobné zpracování umožňuje lépe nahlédnout a definovat Onettiho styl a jedinečnost.Anxiety and estrangement in Juan Carlos Onetti's works Key words: Onetti, The Well, novel, Eladio Linacero, estrangement, anxiety, loneliness, dreams, Tizón This work focuses on the literary conception of characters in Onetti's works. Specifically, it converges on anxiety, loneliness and estrangement, which are the central components of the author's prose. Onetti's first-fruit, The Well, serves as a starting point. This novel revealed new possible ways of the novel-writing and influenced many other authors. It carries the key issues of Onetti's future work. The novel is sketchy; the images often do not follow each other and they are directed by hidden associations. There appears a new character: urban anti-hero, who escapes from the hostile reality to the fantasy life. The present work features the protagonist of The Well with other Onetti's characters. The part dedicated to the style focuses on the relation between form and content. Onetti's books are about misunderstanding which is reflected in the structure and language. In the final chapter of this work is confronted The Well with The Beauty of the World by Héctor Tizón. The bachelor's thesis The image of the Czech Republic on the pages of the Spanish newspaper El País presents the newspaper El País in the context of the Spanish media environment and focuses on how the newspaper El País reported on the Czech Republic from 2020 until the beginning of 2023. This period was chosen so that the work could reflect and analyze, among other things, the depiction of the Czech Republic in the context of significant pan-European and thus global events, such as the covid 19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the Czech presidency of the EU and others. Qualitative content analysis of texts was used for data processing. This will allow us to reveal which topics and which actors enter the Spanish media environment and how information about them is framed.
