    This study aims to determine the effectiveness of providing health education using audio-visual media, namely the application of SIPER-B (Information System for LBW Infant Care) on mothers' knowledge, confidence and skills in caring for low birth weight babies. The research method is quasi-experimental with a pre-test – post-test control group design. The results showed that the knowledge, confidence and skills in the intervention group were higher than in the control group, with a grand mean of knowledge of 19.36, self-confidence of 5.48, skills of 7.88 and a p-value of 0.000. In conclusion, the SIPER-B application effectively increases mothers' knowledge, confidence and skills in caring for babies with low birth weight (LBW).  Keywords: LBW, Confidence, Skills, Knowledg

    Health education is important in hospitals, because health education is an important component of the patient's recovery process and is an integral part of professional nursing practice. Objectives: to increase public knowledge about the importance of hand hygiene, to prevent infection and disease and to disseminate information to Caregiver Professionals (PPA) regarding the latest features in the SIDEK application, namely audio-visual (video) based education. Implementation Methods: Coordination with hospital management regarding adding audio-visual-based health education media features in the SIDEK APPLICATION, adding audio-visual-based health education media features in the SIDEK application, making audio-visual-based health education media, conducting outreach about the addition of audio-based health education media visualization in the SIDEK application, providing health education to patient caregivers about hand hygiene using audio-visual media, distributing hand sanitizers to patient caregivers. Results: there is an increase in public knowledge about hand hygiene and based on the results of interviews with patient caregivers about providing health education 95% chose audio-visual media (video) over leaflet media. Conclusion: There is a new feature added to the SIDEK application at RSUD R Syamsudin SH, namely audio-visual (video)-based health education media. The implementation of health education based on audio-visual media on hand hygiene is proven to increase public knowledge about hand hygiene
