Silica and its compounds as additives for organic binders and medical applications

Teoretická část bakalářské práce obsahuje základní informace o křemíku, oxidu křemičitém jak sráženém oxidu křemičitém tak i pyrogenním oxidu křemičitém a křemičitanech jako slída, flogopit, kaolín. Uvedeny jsou informace o přípravě, využití i farmaceutickém využití. Jsou zde uvedeny základní informace, rozdělení pigmentů, plniv a pojiv, kde je navíc zmíněna i výrobě. Další částí bakalářské práce je i experimentální část, která je zaměřená na vybrané pigmenty na bázi oxidu křemičitého, u kterých byly provedeny fyzikálně-chemické vlastnosti, měření tloušťky nátěru, tvrdosti. Nakonec byly provedeny i vybrané antikorozní zkoušky.The theoretical part contains basic information about silicon, silica as the precipitated silica and fumed silica and silicates such as mica, phlogopite, kaolin. There are information about the preparation, use and pharmaceutical applications. There are basic information, distribution of pigments, fillers and binders, which is also mentioned as well as production. Another part of the thesis is also an experimental section, which focuses on selected pigments based on silicon dioxide, which have been carried out physico-chemical properties, measurement of film thickness, hardness. Import 29/09/2010V předložené práci je řešen vývoj dobývacího prostoru pro účely zahlazení hornické činnosti a náledné rekultivace.Od změny dobývacího prostoru zmenšení,kvůli záměru územního plánu,přes vypracování plánu sanace a rekultivace,až po zrušení dobývacího prostoru včetně zrušení chráněného ložiskového území,který kopíruje stávající dobývací prostor.V prási je předložena charakteristika ložiska a jeho blízkého okolí,stávající a nově navržený tvar dobývacího prostoru,výpočet plochy dobývacího prostoru,v části rekultivace jsou například stávající a nově navržený systém vodních ploch,volba rostlin pro biologickou část rekultivace.This thesis treats of progres sof allotment for next recultivation. Cationization of cellulosic material and effect on coloring with direct syes

Experimentální část této diplomové práce je zaměřená na úpravu bavlny pomocí kationizace dvěma prostředky, a to Texaminem ECE a Sokoflokem FL 4540. Po úpravě bavlny bylo provedeno barvení přímými barvivy vyráběnými firmou Synthesia, a.s., pomocí barvícího přístroje AHIBA NUANCE TOP SPEED HB a byla změření procenta vytažení. Po barvení bylo provedeno ustalování a dále měření stálostí v praní při 40 °C a 60 °C. K hodnocení vybarvení i stálostí bylo použito metod objektivního měření barevnosti.The experimental part of this diploma thesis was focused on the treatment of cotton by cationization of two agents, Texamin ECE and Sokoflok FL 4540. After cationization dyeing of direct dyes provided by the Synthesia, a.s. company was performed. The Ahiba nuance top speed HB coloring device was used. The degree of exhaustion was evaluated. After dyeing fixing and measurement of colour fastness to washing (40 °C and 60 °C) was performed. To ventilate or not to ventilate during bystander CPR — A EuReCa TWO analysis

Background: Survival after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is still low. For every minute without resuscitation the likelihood of survival decreases. One critical step is initiation of immediate, high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The aim of this subgroup analysis of data collected for the European Registry of Cardiac Arrest Study number 2 (EuReCa TWO) was to investigate the association between OHCA survival and two types of bystander CPR namely: chest compression only CPR (CConly) and CPR with chest compressions and ventilations (FullCPR). Method: In this subgroup analysis of EuReCa TWO, all patients who received bystander CPR were included. Outcomes were return of spontaneous circulation and survival to 30-days or hospital discharge. A multilevel binary logistic regression analysis with survival as the dependent variable was performed. Results: A total of 5884 patients were included in the analysis, varying between countries from 21 to 1444. Survival was 320 (8%) in the CConly group and 174 (13%) in the FullCPR group. After adjustment for age, sex, location, rhythm, cause, time to scene, witnessed collapse and country, patients who received FullCPR had a significantly higher survival rate when compared to those who received CConly (adjusted odds ration 1.46, 95% confidence interval 1.17–1.83). Conclusion: In this analysis, FullCPR was associated with higher survival compared to CConly. Guidelines should continue to emphasise the importance of compressions and ventilations during resuscitation for patients who suffer OHCA and CPR courses should continue to teach both
